"Is everyone here?" Saph scanned the room to make sure that everyone had made it…not including Mark. Adam, Ty, Mitch, Jerome, Yami, Cry, Minx, Ken, Felix, Marzia, and Saph were all standing around a table set in the middle of the room.
"So what's the plan?" Ken crossed his arms and Felix stepped forward.
"I think the best idea is to go through a secret passageway Sebastian showed me. We can easily sneak through there. The training begins at midnight and ends about an hour later so we only have a small window of time to find the antidote and get the hell out of there." Felix finished.
"So you don't know exactly where it is?" Mitch asked.
"No, I only know that it's located in the lab somewhere. If we're quick enough we can sneak in, get the antidote, and get out before anyone knows we're there."
"Wait a minute, I know that Saph can transform into something and Cry can turn invisible…but how is Felix going to sneak in?" asked Yami.
"Well, lots of people there walk around with their cloaks on so I'm just going to go with that idea." Pewds shrugged.
"Good luck you guys. Be careful." Minx waved to the three and they began to step out the door. Everyone else waved goodbye and wished them good luck on their mission. Once the door closed behind them, Saph turned to the two men.
"Remember guys, Mark is counting on us. We either leave with the antidote or we don't leave at all." Both Felix and Cry nodded solemnly and they made their way to the North Fields.
(North Fields)
Saph cautiously tapped the top of the grass-colored hatch that Felix had shown her. Before opening it she turned to them.
"Good luck and be careful." She whispered. Saph slowly opened the hatch and climbed down the rusty ladder into the black abyss. She gathered that Cry and Felix had followed her from the light stepping sounds coming from above her. A large, metallic creak was heard and the three invaders were plunged into almost pitch-blackness. A shudder ran up Saph's spine as darkness and dank air engulfed her. Its ok Cry just closed the hatch.
"Don't worry, if you keep going down then we'll be able to see better." Saph heard Felix whisper softly. Saph gulped as they descended deeper and deeper into the hole. Finally, her foot landed on a flat surface and she breathed a sigh of relief. She turned around and saw that a long, dimly lit hallway stretched in front of her. The rough, worn cement bricks that lined the walls gave a similar impression as the game Amnesia and lit torches the size of Saph's forearm illuminated the long and eerie hallway. The morph waited for her accomplices to reach the ground floor before she turned back to face them. Felix was already wearing his rust colored cloak and had the hood up so one had to look at him straight in the eyes to make out his facial features.
"Which way now Felix?" Cry asked while keeping watch on the hallway in front of them.
"It should be down this hallway and on the first right door." The three made their way down the dim pathway. "You two should disguise yourselves, we don't know when we'll run into someone." Felix whispered. Saph transformed into a small moth and Cry turned invisible. His hand rested lightly on Felix's shoulder so that he knew he was there. The three shuffled down the path until they came upon a large metallic door on their right just as Felix predicted. He placed his hand on the knob, shuttering at its cold temperature, and slid the door open slowly.
After the creaking of the door opening had subsided, Felix poked his head through the doorway to see what lay inside. A series of long lab tables ran across the room and the familiar glass case that held countless vials of substances hung across the room. No doubt those are failed experiments Felix made a mental note before creaking the door open just enough so that he could squeeze inside. The moth Saph fluttered through the opening and the door moved slightly indicating that Cry had moved through the doorway successfully.
"Ok where should we start looking?" Pewds flinched after he heard the invisible Cry whisper into his ear.
"Cry, you check that glass case over there and Saph and I will go to Sebastian's office. Come get us if you find anything." Felix instructed. He nodded to the moth that hovered beside him and they made their way down another hallway, though this one had a set of stairs leading up at the end. While walking up the metal stairs, Felix glanced back to see if anyone had followed them… no one was there. This mission is gonna make me paranoid for sure Felix inwardly grumbled.
Felix and the moth Saph emerged from the doorway located behind Sebastian's desk. Saph morphed into a small monkey and began searching through the drawers; her eyes resembled those of a small child searching desperately for a piece of candy. Felix left Saph to rummage through Sebastian's belongings and stepped over to the large bookshelf that stood to the right of the large desk. Knowing Sebastian I know he wouldn't make this easy to find… maybe… Felix skimmed the titles of the books that stood on the bookshelf. None of them were particularly interesting…but then his finger grazed over a curiously titled book. Ultra S7s he read the title in his mind to get a better grasp on it. Felix quickly ripped the novel from its dusty confines and was surprised at its weight for being an average sized book. He turned the cover over and gasped in shock. This wasn't a book! It was a storage container! And inside that small box lay a syringe that glowed a bright red.
"Saph! I got it!" Felix harshly whispered and the monkey Saph scampered over to see if he was correct.
"Are you sure that's it?" Saph whispered back, in her human form.
"Of course! It has to b-" Felix was cut short by the front door being swung open to reveal none other than Sebastian standing in the doorway.
Hey guys. I don't have any excuses for not uploading this earlier. I just want to say that I'm sorry and I promise to try harder to upload more regularly. Stuff is going on in my life right now so sorry for the short chapter… I just needed to get something out there. The other "half" to this chapter will be uploaded in a little bit. Sorry guys. Anyway on a lighter note, I was wondering if any of you would like to see me write a story on other Youtubers (or a selection of the ones I have here)! If you have an idea you can send me the characters wanted, context of the story or where you would like to start it off, and if you would like me to create any original characters. (Pairings are ok but you must know that I don't take the whole "shipping" thing seriously, but I can write about it if you like) I'm also willing to reboot my MarkxCry story if you guys would like to see it come back. I am also willing to write a Minecraftia story with a couple of Youtubers (Thinking of including MunchingBrotato in that mix since there aren't a lot of them with him in it). So if you have an idea, ANY IDEA, then just message me! Thanks I love all of you guys! Bye!
