I. HATE. WRITERS. BLOCK.
Seriously, I have been met with nothing but dead ends with this chapter, and I just couldn't figure out how to continue...I was about to either modify the last chapter into a single story and give up or just abandon the series altogether...then in a train ride, I finally figured out how to finish it :D So, after months, we continue in the Ring of CAROL DANVERS VS. THE SINISTER FOES OF SPIDER-MAN WITH CARNAGE, ROUND 2!

Chapter 8: Carnage Part 2
"They're bonded by BLOOD?!" Carol roared as she dodged a car flying straight at her. Luckily, no one was behind her; unfortunately, as she dodged the car, Carnage pounced on her, slamming her into the ground and attempting to cover her face with his sneering maw.
"Yeah, and that's why we can't let him bleed!" Peter yelled back as he thwipped some webbing at Carnage's maw, forcing it to rear back just enough for Ms. Marvel to fire a photon blast at its head, and sending it flying into a nearby squad car. This didn't even faze the creature for as soon as it collided, it snapped its body back up, cackling in that maniacal way that always send chills up Peter's spine, and now Carol understood why as she felt those same shivers up her own spine.
"HAHAHAHAHA! Is that the best you two got?!" Carnage cackled. "I'll wipe the floor with you two easy! You think the old man was hard enough, Blondie?! You ain't seen nothing yet!" At his words, Carnage immediately began shooting Symbiote daggers at the two heroes, as well as heavy caliber Symbiote bullets.
"HEAD'S UP!" Spider-Man yelled as he and Ms. Marvel jumped out of the way, barely evading the massive hailstorm of weapons Cassidy was raining down on them.
The instant that Carnage had said he came back for seconds, he had attacked the heroes and the SWAT officers with a murderous frenzy, using all the newly morphed weapons and arms he unleashed to hack and slash through those in his way. The officers, not equipped well enough to handle a deranged murderous Symbiote psychopath/serial killer, soon found themselves being decimated and torn apart; the ones who weren't being torn to shreds were forced to retreat and keep the civilians still too stupid to actually leave the area back, while Spider-Man and Ms. Marvel handled the psycho supervillian. Easier said than done, as Carol was starting to see.
"Keep him busy!" Spider-Man yelled as Carol landed a punch on the monster's head, sending it flying into the ground. "I have an idea!"
"Yeah, sure….you do that!" the Avenger replied as she saw Carnage easily step back up from the impact from the ground. "I'll just keep making the red psycho angry and more psycho," she muttered to herself as her fists again began glowing with energy. "How does he forget to mention if he bleeds then I have to deal with him all over again?" Carnage began circling her, maw showing wicked teeth and a flickering tongue. Carol, while horrified and disgust by the sight, refused to let it show. "OK, Carnage, I'm giving you one last chance to stand down and surrender. This doesn't have to get any worse than it already is."
"Ok, you seriously don't know me at all!" the villain sneered as he rose to full height, his claws morphing into scythes. "Worse than it already is?! Baby, this is a chaos goldmine! This is my dream come true, and you want me to STOP?! Fat chance of that! Now…where were we?"
"Around here!" Ms. Marvel yelled as she fired dual photon blasts at the creature, sending it flying into a nearby squad car; unfortunately, this proved to be completely futile as the second Carnage landed on the squad car, he leapt back, roaring at the human/Kree hybrid as he landed on top of her, snapping his maw and viciously slashing with his scythes at Carol. She barely kept her opponent's maw back by extending her arm at full length and keeping a tight hold on his throat, her other hand desperately trying to keep the creature's scythes at bay. It wasn't like she didn't have the strength to keep him back, because she did; Carnage was just simply too much of a monster to leave unwatched for even a second, and the fact that he was vicious and unrelenting and seemed to want a bite of her didn't really help.
"C'mon, baby-KISS ME!" Carnage cackled, his vile tongue slithering near Carol's face, utterly disgusting her.
"Spider-Man, whatever you had planned, NOW WOULD BE A GOOD TIME TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!" she roared.
"Spidey ain't coming to save-!"
"Special delivery for one Cletus Kassidy!" Peter yelled as he jumped back into the fray, holding a large police siren system, which still had the wires in, keeping it connected to the squad car it had come from. Tackling the Symbiote abomination, he slammed the tech into Kassidy and secured it tightly onto him with his webbing. He then turned to the officers in the background and yelled, "NOW!" The cops then activated the siren system, which was VERY loud. Peter had modified it a bit to give it extra sound. Being a Symbiote, Carnage hated sound at that kind of volume.
"AAAAUUUURRRRGGHHHH!"
Carnage then staggered continuously, attempting to get the siren system off his back but failing as the sound, despite Carnage not being as vulnerable to sound as Venom was, completely rattled the creature, creating an unpleasant environment for it, and now, creating attack openings.
"Ok, seems to be in working order, sir!" Spider-Man quipped as he landed a snap kick on Carnage, sending him flying into Carol's fist. "If they're any complaints, please file a mention to the 'IHateSymbiotes' Association. Response is not guaranteed!"
"You're seriously joking around at a time like this?!" Carol remarked as she slammed Carnage's face into the pavement multiple times. "He just tried to kill me!"
"And you could've thrown him into space."
"I tried that, remember?"
"And it worked, except you forgot that one detail about them being bonded by blood."
"Whatever," Carol said with a smirk. She then landed a devastating axe kick on the back of Carnage's neck. The villain was slammed into the ground even deeper, and with vicious snarls he struggled to get back up, the siren and the attack rattling him to his core. "Ok, Kassidy," the heroine continued as she leaned closer to the creature. "Are you ready to give up now, or are you hungry for some-?" She never got to finish as Carnage, with a desperate burst of energy, unleashed a feral shriek and grew to a full height of 12 feet and began firing relentless barrages of Symbiote projectiles. Spider-Man would've surely fallen victim to a lethal looking Symbiote ax if not for his Spider-Sense, and Carol had to dodge out of the way and help nearby civilians avoid the projectiles. With a feral screech, Carnage managed to shred the wires that connected the siren system to the squad car, and the device failed as a result.
Carnage then set his murderous gaze to the Wehead. "THAT. WAS. UNPLEASANT!" he screeched as he slammed into Peter, talons slashing his continuously as he pummeled him into the ground. Peter's screams of pain didn't fall on deaf ear, however.
"SPIDER-MAN!" Carol yelled as she threw herself at Carnage, ready to tear the creature in half-screw moral issues-but Carnage simply grabbed her punching arm and flung her aside, the momentum she built up used against her, sending her flying into three buildings. Of course, that barely even made her dizzy, but as she returned to the scene of the battle, her heart stopped.
Carnage had his maw just inches from Peter's ripped masked face, his talons just an inch from his throat.
"I want to see you bleed."
Carnage was about to slash Peter's throat.
That did not sit well with Carol.
"CARNAGE!" Kassidy barely looked up in time as he was slammed by the Avenger, both colliding with a nearby building with an echoing boom. Relentlessly, Carol landed punch after punch on the creature, her eyes glowing white-yellow in her rage. Blow after blow, yell after yell, Ms. Marvel lashed out unforgivingly against the creature, each blow more powerful than the last one. With a yell, the Avenger then grabbed the creature's maw and pointing her hand at it, she fired a mighty photon blast, sending Carnage flying into the ground, wrecking the concrete street as the blast dragged the villain along, exposing pipelines and power cables in the stony carnage.
"Any last words?" Carol snarled as she landed on the creature, her boot on his throat and her fists glowing with powerful energy, ready to blast him at a second's notice.
"…if you wanted to be rough and on top," Carnage sneered as he looked at her with cold and unforgiving eyes, "all you had to do was ask."
SPLAT SPLAT SPLAT!
"AUUUGHHH!
Carol yelled with fury and horror as Carnage again spat hunks of the Symbiote on her, again on her face; he remembered the effect it had on her the last time. As Carol staggered back and clawed at the Symbiote bits on her face, he jumped at her and slashed her costume and slammed her into the ground.
"Well, well, seems you seem to have a bit of a…problem with the Symbiote on you, my dearie!" Carnage cackled. "What's the matter-Venom scared you a bit when you danced with him? Well, you don't even want to get started on me!" Carnage then opened his maw and made to swallow Carol's head whole.
"GET OFF HER!" Spider-Man yelled as he landed on Carnage's back; with thick webbing, he brought back up Carnage's maw, and the creature roared in fury, then in agony as Carol fired another photon blast at his maw, then landed a punch on his stomach. Carnage, however, was not about to give up, and with a spin of his head, he grabbed the webbing Peter was using to restrain his maw and pulled back, and with superior strength, he flung him over his head and right on Carol. Before he could do anything else, Peter fired webbing into his eyes, and then fired a snap kick to his maw, and Carol followed up with a haymaker. She made to hit with another one, but Carnage easily dodged it with Spider-Man like agility, and jumping over Spider-Man he landed onto Carol and flung her into a nearby car, his arms and two extra sets of arms ending in sinister looking scythes.
"Now then," he sneered as he set two scythes at Carol's neck and her heart. "I believe we had some unfinished business. Although…it is a shame to leave such a pretty piece of meat like you going to waste, you know what I mean?" To Carol's sickening horror, another tentacle-like limb sprouted from Carnage's side and slowly made its way to her body. "Oh and be sure to scream really loud so-!"
"Suck on this, Carnage!" Peter yelled as he jumped in, one of the many loosened underground power cables in his hands. The result was instantaneous: upon contact from the heat of the energy, Carnage roared in agony as the electricity burned the Symbiote savagely on the spot it connected. Reeling back, it gave Carol an opportunity to finally end the battle once and for all. As the creature was kicked away by Peter, Carol grabbed the power cable and placed it against her body, and she was suddenly bombarded with new energy, and her body surged with the new power given to her.
"Ok," Carol smirked. "Let's end this."
"I go high, you go low?" Peter smiled as he retook the power cable, webbing it to his arm.
"Let's do it."
"THAT WAS UNPLEASANT!" Carnage shrieked as he came back, his Symbiote body oozing and waving.
"Then you might want to duck this one!" Peter yelled as he webbed Carnage and pulled him over to the two Avengers, allowing Carol to fire a devastating photon blast, sending the villain into the sky, right as Spider-Man jumped up after him and slammed the villain with the power cable. The intense electrical surge and heat caused the creature to shriek in agonizing pain, enforced more as Spider-Man landed a flurry of punches while the two crashed into the ground.
"Round 2!" Carol roared as she flew over and landed a mighty axe kick onto the villain's head, effective enough to daze Carnage. With lightning speed, Carol then again grabbed Carnage by the maw and with one hand keeping it open, she thrust her hand into it and as before, pulled out the human form of Cletus Kassidy.
"OH COME ON! NOT AGAIN!"
"Take him!" Carol roared as she grabbed the squealing Symbiote, Peter taking a hold of Kassidy. Before the Carnage Symbiote could try to bond with her, Carol grabbed the power cable and slammed the electrical part onto it, also firing a powerful photon blast. The combined heat of the energy strikes was too much for the squealing and unhosted Symbiote and getting weaker and weaker, it shriveled and burned away into nothingness.
Carnage was done…again.
"And Kassidy?" she asked as she turned around to her teammate.
"Dealt with," Spider-Man remarked as he finished tying up the villain in thick webbing.
"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU, YOU DIRTY WHORE!"
POW
"Damn crazy psycho," Carol muttered as she rubbed her gloved fist, watching the SWAT units haul away the unconscious form of Kassidy. "I never want to see that thing again."
"Are…are you ok?" Peter asked as he came up to her. He knew how dealing with a Symbiote could be.
Carol sighed. "Yeah I guess, just a bit rattled…it…I think it…"
"Yeah, I know," Peter replied, taking her hand. "Don't talk about if it bothers you; I know it would after…well…I think I'll stop talking."
"Thanks," Carol said with a small smile. "And don't scare me like that again."
"How'd I scare you?"
"You went off to face that thing alone." She started walking off. "I should've been there from the start to help you. It would've been quicker and easier…but I know you'd never just stand by, and that's really admirable."
"…You really do like me, don't you?" he asked as he followed her.
"Well," she smiled, feeling a bit teasing, "I don't NOT like you."
