"Mikey! Keep still! Your balance is off, you'll fall!"
"I'm trying, I'm trying Leo!"
"Try harder!"
"Dude! I'm gonna die!"
With a final scream of despair, Michelangelo toppled off of the wire above the street, and flailed helplessly as he plumeted down to the street.
However, he never made contact with the groud as Leonardo swooped down from where he stood on the Dragon gate, and he caught Mikey in his arms in one swoop, and then swinging back up to the other side of the gate. Mikey was held bridal style in his arms from how he was caught in mid air, and Leo gave him an exasperated look. Mikey looked off to the side, and then grinned sheepishly. "Um...sorry?" he laughed.
Leo rolled his eyes, dropping Mikey on his shell with a sigh. He had taken Mikey out that night on a one on one training session that he thought Mikey needed, trying to help him improve his balance...but after a few minutes, his concentration began to wander somwhere else...and he started humming the tune. "You really need to start focusing on your training Mikey," he scolded, "instead of what you're going to eat later, pranking Raph , or...dare I say it...another Drinking Song."
Mikey pouted as he stood back up and folded his arms. "C'mon, duuuuude! They're classic! Just one more! You and me! Pleeeeeeaaaasssse?!"
Leo folded his arms, not tearing his serious eyes away from mimicked him, crossing his arms over his chest as he glared at Leo, puffing his freckled cheeks out stubbornly as he stared his older brother down. Leo's stare began to waver, his composure cracking as a smile tried to fight its way onto his lips.
Mikey trying to be serious...was far too funny...and just too cute. And the worse thing was, Mikey knew it.
Mikey stepped up on his tiptoes as he was level with Leo, and bopped his nose against his as he narrowed his eyes.
It was working...three...two...one...
Leo couldn't hold it back anymore as he burst out laughing. "Okay, okay!" he gave in, "Just one, and then we go back home, okay?"
Mikey beamed. "YES! MIKEY FOR THE WIN! BOOYAKA - Mmph!"
Leo slapped his hand over Mikey's mouth. "But we gotta keep it down, got it?" he warned. Mikey nodded his head, and Leo couldn't fight the smile.
He knew that by the end of it, neither of them would be quiet.
Both: Oh, idey idey idey idey idey idey I!
Leo: It happened just last Tuesday,
Mikey: I let go of that gal!
Leo: She left me for another!
Mikey: And I found a new pal!
Leo: And she is a dancer,
Mikey: She dances through and through!
Leo: She is really happy now!
Mikey: And naked's what she do!
Both: (Leo barks out a laugh) Oh, idey idey idey idey idey idey I!
Mikey: I couldn't stand her nagging!
Leo: She nagged me day and night!
Mikey: So I told her to go away!
Leo: Because her face was a fright!
Mikey: (laughing) I wish I had money!
Leo: And then i'd be so rich!
Mikey: And then I'd never have to -
Leo: MIKEY!
Mikey: Oh um NEVERMIND!
Both: (laughing hard and struggling to keep quiet) Oh, idey idey idey idey idey idey I!
Leo: She took all my property!
Mikey: Including Donnie's toaster and bed!
Leo: (snickering) I used to make butt microwave toast!
Mikey: Pfft! Now I just lay there instead!
Leo: Now I'm really happy!
Mikey: And livin' on my own!
Leo: Because you see I am my own man!
Mikey: I love myself alone!
Both: Oh, idey idey idey idey idey idey I!
Leo: I need to find a job now.
Mikey: Because I am busted!
Leo: I won't be a bum you see!
Mikey: ...'cus my place is dusted?
Leo: (laughs) I'm going to look tomorrow,
Mikey: Because I am smart!
Leo: And when I meet the boss man
?: In his face I'll fart!
Leo and Mikey spun around in shock to find two shadowy figures in the darkness at the other side of the rooftop. They came out seconds later, laughing and holding onto each other.
Leo's face turned red. "Raph? Casey?! What're you doing here?!" he barked.
After several seeconds, the two finally calmed down enough to talk. "W-we heard you guys from the other side of the street," Casey chortled, leaning on Raph for support, "hahahaha, a-and we heard the entire thing! You guys, y-you kill me!"
Leo growled in embarrassment. "Get over here!" he cried, chasing after the two as they ran laughing.
Mikey only watched with his arms folded and a huge smile on his face. "Well...that's one way of loosening up, Leo," he giggled to himself.
