I am a horrible person. I seriously apologize to anyone who actually care about this story, that wait was completely ridiculous. I don't even deserve you guys. Any way, here's the chapter. Too short, I know, to make up for it.

There was a raven, perched atop an olive tree. Around me, there were 11 other trees, one made of fire, another bright silver. Beyond them, large, green pastures stretched out onto the horizon and faded away into the silver outlining of the sky. The air smelled like freshly mowed grass, crisp, seeming to embody the color green. There was an eerie calm, broken only by my faint breathing. Well, that and a small but insistent caw erupting from the tree tops. Followed by another, and another, until 11 crows, black as midnight, spread out into the circle of trees, each topping a tree, like some kind of emo Christmas topper. They gazed at me with beady eyes, scrutinizing me in a way I've seen once or twice magazine covers, like the model was trying to melt the camera. It was interesting to see that in an animal. There was a small rustle at my feet, and I looked down to see the roots of the olive tree creeping slowly, almost unoticeably, toward me. It must have been moving faster than I had first thought, because one root whipped around my leg and pulling violently. I yanked my foot away from the root and , a loud series of raps coming from the sky alarming me. As I looked up, a storm of crows, so dense they seemed like they were one giant mass moved toward me. No caws. No noise.

With a rustle of the wind, the branches of the olive tree snapped out, snagging my hair and tangling it in its twigs. The roots of the trees tangled my legs in them, joined by the other trees, and suddenly the crows were pecking at my legs and face and arms, and I couldn't see beyond them. One huge root from the silver tree, once beautiful, was wrapping around my torso, but then suddenly recoiled, making me realize how much I needed air. The tree on fire (I'm sorry, I can't about the hunger games) stretched closer to me, causing blisters heat to burst into existence up my entire leg. My face felt sore from the crows. I heard someone screaming and crying. Apparently that was me. The crows cleared up enough for see two green snakes and a group of peacocks standing along the trees, staring at me silently. "Help." Someone feebly whispered. Turns out that was me, too. They cocked their heads to the side simultaneously, before turning around and heading back into the trees. "NO!" I shouted.

Beyond the trees, into the fields, a lightening storm was racing in my direction, followed by a Tsunami so large it was as if, for one moment, the sea and the sky were one. There was no escaping. The roots and branches were tearing me limb from limb, and all I could do was cry and scream as the storms came closer and closer, enveloping me in water and rain.

I woke up with tears streaming silently from my face.
