"...our newest camper, Suzy."

My head snapped up at my name. "Huh?" A barrage of eyes. I swear, every Single person.

Every.

Single.

Person.

Chiron was looking at me expectantly. "Umm...hi?"

As if one person, everyone turned from me to their plates.

I looked at mine. My tired eyes seemed to think that the plate was very interesting.

It was so shiny.

So very, very shiny.

I nearly screamed when food appeared on it.

One of the other Hermes campers nudged me and stood up. I decided to follow him. He threw some food into a large fire. Coooooooool. The fire was soooooooooo cooooooooool. Not to mention the fact that it smells like unicorn farts and happiness.

Everyone was throwing food in. Why on their life would they burn FOOD?!

In case it isn't apparent, I was exhausted.

After my slightly-to-mostly melodramatic dream, sleep decided to make like my hair and split. My clock slowly made its progress around itself, slowly driving me into my sanity abandoning sleep-deprived state.

I threw a piece of bread in the fire, sat back down, and tried to convince myself that sleep doesn't really matter.

That was when the peacocks showed up.

There were dozens of them.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKAAAAAAYYY.

Sleep does matter, apparently.
