This ended up being long, although I'm really surprised, cause this is Yamamoto's chapter. In fact, I feel it could be longer...

Well, I hope you enjoy it anyway.

It was so warm…

"Juudaime! Everyone's back!" Hayato, his dear late right hand man, shouted gleefully.

"Yeah, Tsuna, we have to celebrate!" Takeshi, left hand man, close friend, and one that always comforted him in the direst of times.

"EXTREME PARTY! Let's do it VONGOLA STYLE!" screamed his ever enthusiastic Sun guardian, the one to shine light and protect the entire family, Ryohei.

"Tsuna-nii! Lambo-san wants candy!" cried the 15 year old Lambo. He was the baby, but everyone loved him, as he took many hard its for them all.

"Kufufufu~ Tsunayoshi-kun, we brought the cake," said his Mist guardian, the sneakiest, and the most conniving. But he was always supportive, along with Chrome.

"Omnivore, wake up…" Hibari Kyoya, his Cloud, fiercely loyal, and the one he could always rely on. How fortunate he decided to drop. by. All of them.

They were all dead, afterall…

"Herbivore, wake up," commanded the young Hibari Kyoya. School had ended nearly 30 minutes ago, and yet the prefect was only just waking because of a certain disturbance: the younger twin's unconscious body falling unceremoniously to the floor. That was when he realized the older brunette brother was curled up in a tight ball with death grip on his shirt.

Tsuna slowly woke up, peering up into his grey eyes. Hibari could only sigh as the freshman immediately sat up, blushing faintly. The raven shook his head, and gestured to his brother. Before the small herbivore ran to his side, Hibari stared at him instensly, weighing something in his mind,. Tsuna froze, unsure of how he should react. In his world, whenever Hibari had that look, he was deciding upon how to convey, or restrain, his strange desire to touch his hair. The brunette, after years of bonding, managed to goad the raven to let him feel his black locks, which was satisfyingly silky.

But the moment ended just as quickly as it had happened.

"Get up herbivore," the prefect ordered, and the brunette stood, a fond twinkle in his eyes and a shiver at the sudden lack of warmth, just Hibari refused to show he missed it. "Take your brother," he said, watching as panic decorated the herbivore's features before he hurried to the motionless body.

"And herbivore," Hibari added, and Tsuna paused, looking back, "The roof is a good place to get away from the crowding." The brunette smiled, nodding. He closed the door behind him, and in a matter of minutes, left the building. The raven eventually pried his eyes away from the door to his hand.

He always did have an urge to pet small animals.

~~~ About a minute prior ~~~
Ieyasu hastily scrambled through the third year club hallway for the second time. He been over the rest of the school at least 5 times, and hadn't gone into one room. And he hoped to God his dear brother wasn't in there.
His older twin had been missing since lunch, and the blonde was getting more and more worked up with each minute. He was missing baseball practice. He could hear they elling shouts outside, and the screaming in his head. His brother would go off to his own place for a few hours, even skipping a few classes, but he always appeared at the gate to wave him so Ieyasu could attend club without distraction.
Tentatively, the blonde open the door. Realizing he had clamped his eyes shut, the blonde forced an eye open.
Immediately upon processing where his brother was, the younger fainted. His heart couldn't take it. The sweet, innocent, kind, sort-of-not-really reliable older brother was consumed by the carnivore. Ieyasu failed his older brother. Since Tsuna was weak and naive, the younger had sworn to protect him, but what was he supposed to do in the face of his brunette twin embracing the infamous prefect, who hugged him back, no less!
Briefly, as reality faded in to the darkness, Ieyasu wondered how everything happened so fast. Tsuna acting strangely for 5 minutes (for him) yesterday, and today, after a single day's lunch period and afternoon classes, they were hugging?!
Maybe they had a predestined relationship, he moaned. However, and what Ieyasu failed to notice since he had already passed out, was that there was no lust or desire in Hibari's eyes as he gazed at the brunette before waking him. Just a wave of internal confusion and a mysterious will to protect.
~~~~~ Present, Outside School ~~~~~

Tsuna repositioned his younger brother on his back, sighing at the weight. His current body was weak and hardly able to handle any sort of strain. Even though Ieyasu was younger, the blonde was definitely heavier. He was also carrying both his and Tsuna's bag, plus a familiar, long spots bag. Realizing the other was in the baseball team, Tsuna groaned. Of course fate was going to do whatever it could to make him face his past guardians.

Sighing, he set the blonde down, and jogged over to the baseball diamond. The 30-so members were practicing dutifully, the field flooded with the early afternoon sun's golden hue. In awe, he watched as Yamamoto, his former Rain guardian, hit a ball all the way past the tall fences on the far side, meant to catch balls.

The tanned raven headed to the benches, letting the next batter get a whack at their regular pitcher. Tsuna tried to stay silent and head to the coach, but after the burden of his brother on his shoulders, physically, it increased his clumsiness, and he ended tripping dramatically on a forgotten ball. To his misfortune, Yamamoto headed straight for him.

"Hey, Tsuna!" he shouted, while the brunette dusted off his pants. Softly, Tsuna smiled back. He knew what was coming next, he just cursed himself Ieyasu wasn't currently in his position. Well, he hadn't expected the confrontation today. A few weeks to get assimilated would have been nice, but no. The two guardians that just happened to see him first start deliberately hunt him down.

"Um, I thought you might be able to give me some advice…" he muttered, blushing slightly. The sushi chef in training shifted his weight, trying to organize his thoughts. "On what?" Tsuna asked, feigning curiosity. Hopefully, the other wouldn't notice because of his own worries. Tensing, Yamamoto answered shyly, "My performance on field… has been decreasing."

Mentally, Tsuna slammed his against the nearest tree in hopes of actually dying this time. Seriously, this had to be hell. He had to decide whether to influence his ex-Rain guardian so he ends up jumping, or chose not to and disregard the mission. But outside, he nodded his head, and collected an answer that he could only pray wouldn't too strongly lead him toward breaking his arm, and give Ieyasu the chance to save him.

After several moments of thinking and growing embarrassment on Yamamoto's side, Tsuna answered.

"I doubt I'm suitable to be giving advice, I don't do well in sports, after all. But," he said nostalgic smile ghosting his lips, "My brother does. Always confident, I used to wonder how he always did so good when I would stumble around mindlessly. Until, at last, I saw that he possessed a resolve that lets him believe in himself. If I could recommend anything to you, it'd be that."

The baseball maniac stared dumbly at the shorter figure, before breaking out into a smile. "Thank you!" he exclaimed.

"No," Tsuna corrected, "Thank Ieyasu. I don't… I don't believe in myself," he confessed with a slight bitterness that let the two of them connect if only slightly. The brunette didn't know if he could continue. He killed them all once, it could happen again. "But, Ieyasu understands. When you become conflicted, confused, and depressed, turn to him. He will save you," Tsuna said, and walked away.

"Oh, and Ieyasu hurt himself, so he won't attend to day!" he called last minute, to which Yamamoto silently nodded, both to his classmate, and to himself.

The brunette returned to the bench he had set his brother, and picked him up. "Hey, Reborn, I know you're out there! Help carry your student!" Instantly, the black clad hitman walked up to him, smirking. Tsuna rejected the urge to roll his eyes, grateful for the assistance as they carried him home. Reborn mumbled about Ieyasu's mental perseverance (the training for which Tsuna prayed wouldn't be as horrible as his, but, with an adult form, it could very much likely be 10x worse), and that the older's inability to carry his 120lb brother was also a problem (he just huffed, perturbed, but accepted that it might be for the best if he improved physically as well).

~~~~~ Morning, a week later ~~~~~
Tsuna rose at exactly 5:29, anticipating any form of torture as a wake up call and remained attentive until the it became 5:30. Instead, what he got a minute later was the shriek of his younger brother across the hallway. Sighing, he got out of bed, and headed to the bathroom for a shower.
10 minutes, later, when he got out (clad in towels, as the bruises hadn't healed), he saw Ieyasu running laps around Namimori, doing much better than him, not that he minded. It'd be worse if he was doing that, and he had a feeling he would eventually.
Sighing, he swiftly dressed, and headed downstairs for breakfast. Nana's savory food awaited awaited him, smiling happily as he sat down. He slowly devoured the meal, appreciating it fully.
20 minutes later, Ieyasu completed 10 full laps (3 miles each), and returned home, Reborn walked beside him, pleased that his student was only lightly panting and hardly sweating. His face was entirely composed. A blissful smile still on his face, Tsuna greeted him. Curving his lips gently, Ieyasu sat beside him. Just as he was about to dig in, the omelet in his chopsticks disappeared. Blinking owlishly, the blonde grabbed another, but the same happened.
Sighing, Tsuna shook his head, a humorous grin painted his face as he picked up a piece from Ieyasu's plate. "Say ahn~!" Tsuna instructed, giggling (because of his current BODY, he never did that as a boss) at Ieyasu's beet red face. Reborn quirked an eyebrow, but still about to go for the piece of food, when Tsuna shot a strained smile, daring him to go for it. The dangerous glint in the older twin's eyes displayed their bond. In respect to that, Reborn ate from his own plate. Ieyasu, who was still gawking slightly, was fed by his brother like he had done when they were young.
Still blushing, Ieyasu slowly munched on his food, not looking at his brother in fear of losing his composure further. When Tsuna finished, he looked up at the clock, standing up. "Ieyasu, we have to get going," he informed him. Nodding, Ieyasu hesitated at the dilemma of having to throw away his leftovers, when the remains disappeared before his very eyes. He looked up, staring blankly at Reborn, mentally slapping himself that he hadn't realized it earlier.
"A boss has to protect his food," the raven declared, handing their empty dishes to Nana. Sighing, the heir ran upstairs. Reborn told them about his true objective that first night after Ieyasu woke up, but was surprisingly uneventful, to both the hitman's and Tsuna's disappointment. Ieyasu calmly accepted everything, explaining that he had found CEDEF documents when he was young, and overheard Parallel Tsuna's conversation with Iemitsu when they were 7 that, even though he was the oldest, Ieyasu would likely be chosen as heir. He fondly recounted that his older brother proudly answered that he loved his brother, and believed Ieyasu able to lead honorably.
Sighing, Tsuna waited by the door, dressed, shoes on, homework half-assed, and ready to narrowly escape death via prefect as Ieyasu jogged down the stairs. In seconds, they were running toward Namimori middle, but both could feel the prickling feeling, one Tsuna was very well familiar with, and met confused eyes with his horrified orbs. Immediately, the older picked up his pace, cursing that the situation was just as he feared.
When they arrived, they could see the tall silhouette of Yamamoto on the roof. Ieyasu dashed to the stairs, while Tsuna ran to the emergency raft (he wondered why they even had that), and prepped it for inflation. Now, all he could do was stare up questioningly. It was on his brother whether or not Yamamoto would survive.
Ieyasu arrived in record time, darting through the crowd that gathered around the suicidal freshman. However, none dared venture closer, for fear of falling through the rusty fence. Growling at this, the blonde immediately went face to face with the baseball prodigy.
The raven's eyes widened at his appearance, before laughing blandly. "Tsuna was right. You have come," he muttered, only loud enough for Ieyasu to hear. "Tsuna spoke to? What did he say?" he demanded, before Yamamoto turned enough so that he was able to see the cast on his right arm. A few drops of rain fell onto the taller of the two's cheek, and grew stronger to the point everyone was getting pelted. Soon, it was only the two of them on the roof, Yamamoto noticed bitterly.
"He said, 'My brother always has confidence, that with his resolve he believes in himself," the baseball star said, "That he wouldn't be the one to save me, but you." Yamamoto, observing the other's straight face, wondering if he should add the real reason to which Tsuna wasn't standing right in front of him.
'I don't… I don't believe in myself.'
Yamamoto had been right to ask of his help, one who understood his helplessness. The reason Tsuna gave for being able to believe was because of resolve. Well, standing on the roof, with the cold rain pounding against every part of him, Yamamoto felt raw and exposed. His mask was washed away, revealing no such resolve.
"My resolve…" Ieyasu started, blushing slightly, "Is my older brother!" he shouted. This caught the other off guard. When the sushi chef in training remained silent, the younger twin continued, "Even though he doesn't even believe in himself, he is kind, always trying to help others and me. He has an amazing resolve, even though…" he paused, self loathing marring his face, startling the other again, "I've let him down, and he's experienced so much pain because of it."
Yamamoto was at a loss for words. What did the blonde mean by that? Why was he telling him this? Even though Ieyasu had resolve, the raven still had nothing he desired or wished for.
"Why are doing this, just for a broken arm?" Ieyasu pleaded, gripping the fence desperately.
Taking a deep breath, he answered, "Because, no matter how much I believe, even if I had resolve, nothing could change a broken arm, caused by practicing! Obviously… the baseball god has thrown me away," he muttered, turning his back to the heir, look down in anger, only to see Tsuna, soaked, looking up directly in the eye.
Shocked, he backed away from the ledge, much to Ieyasu's relief. He had a chance to continue.
"Maybe not, but broken bones heal, and have nothing to do with fate. My point with Tsuna, is that isn't there a person you wouldn't want to leave? One you would hate to have the same feelings you have now, thinking death is the only answer when you can do so much. Believe in yourself, for God's sake! Once you have that removed, think of how much you'll love standing on the field again! The fact that you tried so hard to injure yourself in the first place shows how much you love the game!"
Yamamoto stayed silent, contemplating Ieyasu's words, and the blonde hoped that was enough to get him to come back to his side.
The raven was about to say something, when he slipped on the rain and started falling. Screaming, Ieyasu lept off unhesitantly to save him, and at the sight, Tsuna released the inflatable raft, watching Ieyasu keenly. As suspected, Reborn fired a dying will bullet, and saved Yamamoto. They landed safely on the raft.
They were both drenched, and one half naked, so Ieyasu and Yamamoto were about to go to the nurse's with Tsuna. However, the brunette stood still. Smiling, the raven was about to ask him to come, when strong brown eyes stared searchingly. "Do you want die?"
Yamamoto's face immediately tightened, hazel eyes flaming with a familiar resolve. One to protect. "I would, if it meant protecting Ieyasu, as well as you," he answered. Tsuna, mildly confused he was included, asked why. Smiling, the baseball explained. "First, Ieyasu wants to protect you, so to protect him, I also have to protect you," Ieyasu blushed, stuttering a quick denial, "And second, because you were wrong. Both of you saved me. Now will you come with us?" he pleaded.
Tsuna's face covered in his bangs, the usually fluffy locks matted to his skull. Still, Yamamoto could see the sardonic smile he wore, full of regret.
"No, I'll wander around a bit. I'll be back… when you leave, at the gate," Tsuna promised his brother, and walked off. Ieyasu wanted to run after him, but thinking about what just happened, he decided against it. Together, he and Yamamoto walked forward, as the older twin took his own time to strew in the past (with entirely different reasons thought up by the two baseball players).
~~~~~00000~~~~~

Once Tsuna was far enough, at the cliff he had trained with Reborn before the Ring trials, the brunette let out loud a loud cry. He had lost sight of Reborn, the flurry of emotions and thoughts overriding his senses, as he screamed out his frustration, looking up to the cloudy sky.

His guardian wanted to die for him, but how could the boss be okay with subordinates not fully aware he could very well lead them all into death. They had died painfully, from what he had seen. Every last one of the ones that had protected him. His shrill screams were the ones that he held when he himself died. At least he hadn't lived on long. Just enough to bare all the guilt.

He was alone… and now he had to recollect the guardians he once called his own as Decimo and give them away. His brother would make a great boss, making sure to protect them no matter. Tsuna would make sure of it. Tears streaked down his cheek, but disappeared with the rain.

He was alone, and he might never get to see them as the once were. He nearly killed one again, today.

The realization came with a sharp pain, and the former decimo bent over, head bowed in apology. He had to guarantee his guardians would be safe. He owed that to them. Tsuna knew he would need to become stronger, but could only hope that he might be able to see his own guardians smiling at him like they had done for 13 years.

Suddenly, a warmth encased his ring finger as his resolve solidified. Looking down he smiled, and more, joyous tears fell. His friend had come to him. He clutched the ring, crying, but no longer sobbing.

"I missed you so much, Natsu."

I think I did that okay... Well, I hope you liked. Please your opinion. Bye...
