My first two weeks at Ouran Academy had ended, and so did my stay at the Souh residence. It had been a shock that the two weeks had gone by so quickly. Also part of the shock was my fault for forgetting I was to be shuffled around the trusted families of the Academy. Feeling sad, I was packing my clothes into my suitcase and shoved a few extra things I had acquired from the two week stay at the mansion. It was all from the servants who, I quote, adored me. Tamaki alleged this to me as he tried to make me feel less guilty from taking gifts from servants. Sighing, I sat on my suitcase and forced it to shut tight after my several body slams on the poor thing. A chuckle was heard from the door and a knock soon followed.
-"Come in." I said smoothly, already knowing who it was. And right I was when Tamaki entered with his hands behind his back, with a smirk on his face.
-"Is my foreign Orchid having trouble packing up?" He mocked innocently. Smiling I nodded in agreement and showed him how much I had beaten up my suit case from all my body slams. Shaking his head, with that cute smile he always packs when he's trying not to laugh, Tamaki revealed what he had been hiding behind his back. –"I had a feeling this was going to happen." To my surprise he presented a medium sized bag that could clip on my red suitcase, it also matched perfectly with it. Beaming with delight, I threw my arms around my Nii-san. He returned the hug, but not for long because Nii-san pushed me away to wipe away a tear.
-"Don't do that or I'll start bawling." I warned with a pout. Oddly enough, in the period of two weeks Tamaki and I had grown as close as a brother and a sister could. I had assured him the night I had been reported the news, that I would return to the estate. Not for just a visit, but for another weekly stay.
-"Here, let me help you unpack." Nii-san offered as he immediately undid my hard work and sorted my things around. –"The reason it won't close is because you don't know how to organize." He scolded, in response I shrugged with a giggle and assisted him. Few moments later we finished and a car's brakes were heard. One of the servants appeared to inform us that the next family had come for me and without asking took my baggage with him. Both of us sighing in sadness decided to head downstairs, walking side-by-side.
-'Who's my next family, Nii-san?" I asked to lighten the mood.
-"I really couldn't tell you, my dazzling water lily." He responded nonchalantly. Nodding we approximated the mansion's entrance. But I stopped right before going through the door, and regarded Tamaki.
-"I'll miss Nii-san even though I'll see you at school…. And everyone here." I said longingly as I glanced behind me and smiled. "Just wanted to say that before I left."
-"I'm sure we all know that already. And the same goes for you." Smiling he petted my head before a servant ran away sobbing and a butler opened the front door. First thing I saw was a large, ebony limo waiting for me. A man walked out and opened the passenger's seat with what you would call, a million dollar smile. The inside was dark, so I couldn't make out who was waiting inside for me. So, with a sigh I waved goodbye and gave a last hug to my brother. The moment I approached the door, I bowed in respect.
-"I am grateful that you will be having me for the following weeks, I hope you enjoy my stay." I acknowledged with clear sincerity, but all I heard in response was a muffled voice. I quickly gave a nervous smile to the Souh family and entered the vehicle.
The whole car ride was made in silence, to my surprise it had been the chauffer and a few servants who came to pick me up. My first thoughts were that I wasn't important enough that one of the family members couldn't have come to pick me up. But one of the servants assured me that the whole family was occupied this morning and that they had to go pick up the Young Lord from his cram school right after they dropped me off at the mansion. I really couldn't understand the servant that well, he had this weird Japanese accent, so I picked up a few words and made sense of them in my head.
At arriving I was encountered with more gifts and refreshments getting shoved into my face. I had wanted to admire the mansion as soon as I got out, but all the incoming things being held near my face ruined it. The Limo's windows were tinted black, so I really couldn't see outside, so yet again I missed an opportunity to know who my host family was. I was instantaneously directed to my room and wasn't allowed to explore the mansion until I had made myself at home… in my room. Which basically meant that I needed to unpack my stuff first.
-"This seems too clean." I mumbled to myself as I sorted the last of my clothes in the closet and decorated the bed with the small plushies the Souh servants contributed me. They were three of them in total, a panda bear eating bamboo which was the center piece because of its size. The one on the right was an onigiri with a happy, but troubled expression. And to the left a replica of Tamaki Nii-san's Beary. I smiled at the bear that reminded me of my Nii-san. A knock interrupted my thoughts, and I turned around to greet whoever was at the door.
-"Come in." I said as coolly as I could, nervous at who was about to enter. So nervous that I didn't wait to see who it was, I immediately bowed and introduced myself with a touch of clear thanks for the stay. A small chuckle and a cute giggle were heard not too far from where I was bowing. Being too embarrassed, I didn't budge and didn't bother to look up at my hosts.
-"She is just as cute as you told me Onii-san!" A girl's voice remarked.
-"Fuyumi-san please do refrain from those remarks." I heard a familiar guy's voice, demanding to his sister to hush it up. The girl apologized but kept complimenting me and how organized my room (closet) was, compared to her brother's. Finally, I decided to look at my hosts in the eye. But the moment I beheld the siblings in the room, my voice became thunderstruck. It wasn't because the older looking girl with jet black hair that waved in the back with big brown eyes, just like her brother. Or that she had a welcoming smile that somehow went with her green attire. But the fact that Kyoya was standing next to her, smirking as he pushed up his glasses.
-"Are you alright, sweetie? You look as if you have seen a ghost." Fuyumi Ootori asked as she approximated me. I glanced at her, still perplexed and wide-eyed but shook away and managed a small, but assuring smile. She hesitated but with a nod returned to her original spot.
-"We express regret for not being present this morning at the Suoh residence; we do hope you don't mind it too much." Fuyumi asked, shaking my head I replied.
-"No, no don't worry. It's fine, I mean, you are having me and that must be quite a handful." In the corner of my eye I could see Kyoya nodding.
-"Well, I have more activities I must attend. I will leave the both of you alone so you can both get better acquainted." And with that, I was left alone with the Evil overlord…. As everyone else calls him at school. I fake smiled at him with my eye twitching, and my hands shaking.
-"How do you do, Ootori-san?" I tried to break the ice, still 'smiling' .
-"Ah, quite alright." He replied, nonchalantly. In silence I waited for him to ask me the same question, but obviously it wasn't going to happen.
-"You're supposed to ask the same thing, it's the polite thing to do." I said with annoyance, Kyoya simply shrugged and brushed my comment away as he walked to the door.
-"Would you like a tour, Tenorio-san?" Kyoya smiled teasingly, holding the door open for me. Nodding, I walked out and waited for his instruction. He nudged me over to the left and the tour began.
The first hallway we explored was full of gorgeous paintings of any genre, from abstract to realism to baroque. A hallway followed with more paintings and pottery began to appear, Kyoya explained to detail every single piece. Until we got to the fourth hallway, I asked him to keep quiet so I could linger and observe the art. At first he was annoyed and seemed a bit hurt, but he gave in and just directed me and rarely said a word. I really appreciated the silence and it seemed more fitting. Afterwards he familiarized me to the music rooms, which each held different kind of instruments. Some was a music room for strings other for wind pipe instruments, etc. I, of course was excited with the room full of different Grand and upright pianos. I was mesmerized with every single one, especially with the Baby Grand that just stood there waiting for me to play. But I contained myself and smiled at Kyoya, waiting for him to understand my message. Surprisingly he understood that we needed to leave before I flipped, so with a smile he led me to the garden. In my opinion, I liked the Suoh's garden better, it was more lifelike. The Ootori's was too formal, and stiff. But I kept it to myself.
-"How are you feeling?" Kyoya asked out of the blue as we headed towards the kitchen.
-"Pardon?"
-"Are you feeling well? Do your feet hurt? We have been walking for over two hours." He repeated, with a hint of concern. I shrugged and stopped to think, with a shake of my head.
-"I'm good, what about you?"
-"Well then let's press on," Kyoya just ignored my question and kept at the tour. But after our visit to the kitchen, I could see his pace go slower and linger when we went up the stairs.
-"You never answered my question, how are YOU feeling?" I inquired grabbing his arm for him to stop.
-"Would you like to see the rest?" He answered.
-"Well, yes. But not if you're tired, we can make a stop and just talk since all the way you've kept quiet…" The boy in glasses paused and finally nodded, and signaled me to follow.
-"Where-
-"You'll see." He shut me up. After a small turn we made it into a big doorway that led into a huge room that could count as a house. I inhaled and watched Kyoya disappear through a door and appear on the upper part of the room, which held a king sized bed in the center; a dark wood drawer next the bed; a dark wood closet and cabinet that lay on each extreme of the upper chamber. I eyed the Ootori boy and noticed he had changed into more casual clothing than his formal wear he greeted me with. It consisted of a yellow unbuttoned shirt with a dark blue t-shirt underneath and jeans. He noticed me staring and smiled back.
-"Would you like to come up here or stay where you presently are… never mind, I'll go down, the couches are there." I didn't respond, I just watched him come down and sit. He motioned for me to join, but I wouldn't budge, I couldn't, knowing now where he had taken me.
-"I-I can stand…" Was all I managed to say, the jerk smirked and chuckled to himself.
-"Don't feel uncomfortable; this is your residency for the next dual weeks. I'm going to be your Nii-san for those two weeks, so it's ok for you to be in my quarters." He smirked again, the sly adolescent knew too well how awkward I felt and brushed it off as if I was accustomed to being in boys rooms. I wanted to argue with him, but I controlled the feeling and just smiled. I even began the conversation and the rest of the day went smoothly, with no arguments.
The weekend was filled of Kyoya and I spending time together, and none of it was my choice. I could barely go to the restroom without seeing his face near mine. Even though he was really helpful at times, like during the time I was studying, it got annoying fast. And I'm sure he enjoyed every single bit of it, because not once I argued with him. No rebuke or belittlement came from my part throughout the weekend. But it all went away at school, eight blessed hours of Kyoya free time and filled with Ritsu, Renge, Reiko, and the twins with Haruhi included during break times. Even though after school I was a bit worried about the Ootori boy being on my tail during the club time, it didn't happen. Tamaki made sure of that, he hogged me when I wasn't helping around. We talked and ate cake with Honey and Mori-sempai. And that went on until Thursday afternoon, when closing the club Tamaki informed me that this Friday he might be absent from the host club. With dismay, I nodded and grudgingly awaited for the next day.
This morning Ritsu was absent to the first two classes and late to the third, entering with a scowl and his left cheek bruised. The teacher didn't care, and just counted him tardy. When break came I approximated him with concern.
-"Hey, you ok? You, uh don't look so well." I tried to ask carefully, not wanting him to get mad. For a second Ritsu looked pissed, but upon looking at me his expression softened with a smile.
-"Course I am, no need to ask." He then stood up and headed out. I ran after him still not convinced and a thousand questions to ask, but not sure if I should. Ritsu saw me catch up to him and glanced at me with curiosity.
-"May I eat lunch with you?" I inquired. That must've caught him of guard because he almost tripped over nothing.
-"Erm, uh… y-yeah. I mean, yes." He managed to say.
-"Awesome! Let's go buy lunch… or did you bring your lunch?" He shook his head and just followed me mesmerized.
-"Don't you usually eat lunch with Renge and Reiko?"
-"Mostly, but sometimes I go with the twins and Haruhi, or Tamaki and his crew. But it was about time I ate lunch with you, I mean we're friends after all." I smiled at the last part. Ritsu didn't say anything after that until it came time for us to eat lunch and just walk around campus, hanging out. Though, I couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched everywhere we went. I was really disappointed when the bell rang, but we complied and headed back to class. Subsequently the rest of the day went fast and school had ended. Thus my daily afterschool routine began, I walked to the dressing rooms to find my maid outfit on the hanger, but this time it was missing. A bit bothered, I went to look for Kyoya, but couldn't find him anywhere. I sighed and decided to look in the courtyard, glancing at my watch noticing that I had half an hour till the club started. Sighing again, I reached the courtyard and detected a black car. Thinking it might be the Ootori's I approached it, but stopped dead in my tracks seeing some sketchy men leaning on the car, talking. Trying to get away, I knocked over a trash can causing the men to immediately gaze at my direction. I smiled a nervous smile and tried to get up, but before I could I felt two hands grab around my arms and lift me.
-"Huh?"
-"No need to say anything missy, you're coming with us." One of the men said as they both threw me into the car and slammed the door. I just froze and didn't know what was happening; wide eyed I took a peep to my surroundings to find a car with black tinted windows and empty liquor bottles thrown carelessly around. I took a deep breath and tried to open the door, no luck. Kicked it, no luck, tried the windows, no luck. Looked for the locks, no luck, tried opening the window at the midsection that divided the car… no luck. Then I heard the men come inside and start the engine while laughing at a joke, as if what they were doing was totally normal. I glanced around helplessly but really couldn't find an escape route, so out of desperation I banged on the windows hoping someone would hear. But no help came, and the car was led out of the school. A tear rolled down my cheek and I kept banging on the windows with all my might, wishing the window would give in. Nonetheless to my dismay, all I did useless ruckus that could only be heard in the car. The car stopped, it was a red light. I yelled for help while another tear fell. I leaned against the door and looked down, searching for answers. Looking up again my expression hardened and I punch the window with all my might. Almost instantaneously my right hand hurt and folded inward, writhing in pain.
-"Hush back there! We don't want you to damage those beautiful piano hands." One of the kidnappers mocked. I fell backward into the seats and put my arm over my face to cover my tears. Reviewing everything I did wrong. Why did I leave my bag with my cellphone in it in the changing room? Why couldn't I have waited for Kyoya to come? Why did I approach the car? Why did this happen to me? My tears had now become sobs and then they suddenly stopped. What purpose would tears do? They wouldn't help. So I sat up and decided to look as if I weren't scared.
We suddenly came to a stop and the two men had stopped laughing and mocking. They let me out, however they never tied me up or treated me badly. Instead when I was led out on of them took out a handkerchief seeing that I had been crying. More men started surrounding me and had legit concerned faces. The expression on my face was probably of a scared and astonished girl, totally far from what I was aiming for. I never knew kidnappers could be so nice…
-"Follow us miss, and um, I apologize for the joke. I thought it might lighten up the mood." The man that had been driving apologized and nudged me to follow. Being puzzled, I followed to investigate further.
-"Um, have I been kidnapped… or-?" I asked, as we walked around an older Japanese styled house. Before answering, the man stopped at a bigger looking door and knocked. Someone behind the door grunted in agreement, the doors were opened.
-"I think you should better ask him." After that, he left. Looking around I saw that another man, but younger and better built, was sitting with his legs crossed on top of a bunch of pillows on the other side of the room. Smiling he motioned me to take a seat. As I sat down smiling, I waved faintly. He chuckled, while tilting his head and then resting it on his right hand; that resided on top of his right knee. Since we weren't saying anything I eyed the man, from head to toe. He had light brown hair that came to his shoulders but half of it was held up in a ponytail. The man also had light, fair skin with grey eyes but his eyes were full of determination and blood lust. No hint of sweetness could be seen. His choice of clothing was fancy like, but gave off a vulgar air like a gangster.
-"Are you done staring?" The man asked, mockingly. Blushing, I nodded and was about to move my gaze elsewhere but decided to act tough. Glaring, I stood.
-"Have I been kidnapped or what?"
-"Don't act threatening when you look as scared as a small kitten." Flinching at the response my gaze turned to the floor. –"Don't worry, you're nowhere near being kidnapped… we just, uh, gave you a ride here withouth permission. In the Sendo syndicate we don't hurt women, or girls in your case. I just wanted to ask you a few questions then I'll return you to school." The Sendo man smiled as he sat up with a smile. Sighing I sat back down, thinking. Glancing up with a small scowl, I nodded.
-"Go ahead."
-"Splendid! This will be quick; don't fret small frightened kitten. Now, have you visited your boyfriend's house before?" In response, I stared.
-"Boyfriend?"
-"Yes, yes. Your boyfriend, that boy that is heir to the Kasanoda syndicate." He repeated, with a bit of annoyance. Now my fear was gone, I burst out laughing and fell to the floor. The man shot up, insulted and picked me by the arm; sitting me back up.
-"I'm sorry Mr. Sendo syndicate, but I don't have a boyfriend. Much less Ritsu, which means I haven't gone to his house." I responded with some giggles intervening. Grunting and sighing, Mr. Sendo paced around the room. He kept muttering and pushing his bangs backwards.
-"Sir, what's wrong?" the head of the syndicate paused and glanced over.
-"My son, he left home and refuses to come back. I have tried so many different strategies, but he wants to stay at the Kasanoda syndicate. I even sent thugs to hurt that boy, but it failed because of these weird kids that call themselves the Host club… why am I telling you this?" Mr. Sendo sounded outraged. His pacing became faster with harsher steps. 'The Host club… so that's why the twins and Haruhi were so familiar with him. They seemed like they knew each other before hand. Back then I supposed it was because they went to the same school together and Kasanoda seemed famous, but I guess not.' Thoughts kept rushing through my mind, and more things became clearer.
-"What's your son's name sir? Does he go to Ouran Academy?" I inquired.
-"Of course not! He is twenty one years old, I believe." I frowned at his response.
-"Pretty sure I wouldn't want to come back either if my own father doesn't remember my age."
-"Careful girl, you are at my house. Think before you speak."
-"I do, and earlier you said that you guys don't harm women or in my case; girls." I smirked; in return he sighed and yelled for assistance.
-"Tie this girl up with tape over her mouth and contact the Kasanoda syndicate." He sneered at me.-"Tell them we have the heir's girlfriend."
-"I told you, I'm not his –
Before I could finish rebuking, tape was put over my mouth and my arms were tied together as well as my feet. Great, Kyoya was right. My careless ways always get me in trouble. Not before long, I was carried to the front gates. Thus began my three hour wait before anything interesting happened, well it wasn't bad since I had fallen asleep. But I could've been studying or drawing or practicing piano or reading or anything else. But no, I had to get 'kidnapped'. Sighing inside the tape which somehow was wet, I decided to roll over seeing two men through Mr. Sendo's open window.
-"They sent an ambassador, you might say, to talk about the situation. Sendo-sama's gonna try and exchange you for his son, quite smart eh. Hah, you gave quite the impression with your sleeping pose and drools… that somehow slipped under the tape." I heard a man beside me say. I rolled over again to find the bearded kidnapper eating and talking at the same time.-"Just thought you'd like to know." He said with crumbs falling onto his beard. I tried a smile but I guess it couldn't really be visible. He then lifted his index finger and exclaimed.
–"I think the heir boy is going to come soon, or so they just said… you know; cause Sendo-sama has his window open," One of my eyebrows shot up in response and the bearded man laughed heartedly. He then proceeded to say that I was a lot of fun and to ask about the relationship, after a few moments of silence he then realized I couldn't respond. Suddenly a loud BANG was heard on the front gates. Beard man shot up and ran inside, leaving a trail of crumbs behind. Shaking my head, I tried to sit up and look presentable since my first impression wasn't as good. I even tried fixing hair, by moving my head back and forth but I don't think you can fix curls in a ponytail that way. Then a cluster of gang members came rushing down, forming a line along the pavement leaving the middle unoccupied. Mr. Sendo came along afterwards, walking slowly as ever and didn't even give me as much as a sideways glance. Two really toned men opened the doors and more gang members barged in, also lining up but at both ends of the gates. Slowly but surely a man that looked exactly the same as Mr. Sendo but younger and with longer hair walked in, glancing everywhere. And trudging behind him were a couple more gang members, but no Ritsu. I wiggled around trying to see if I missed him by any chance, but I was wrong, he wasn't around. Spontaneously, two hands wrapped around my arms, they held me up and carried me back to the main room. After being placed down and taking the tape off my mouth, I complained.
-"Why take me out in the first place, huh? I could've slept here better, or forget bout sleeping! I could've something better, in. this. room. I already told I am not Ritsu's gir-
Mr. Sendo took no time in putting the tape on my mouth again. Younger Mr. Sendo raised an eyebrow and then sighed.
-"Dad, I ran away because I don't like the way you run things here…" He stopped and looked at me with pity. –"And here's an example. But Little Lord will be heartbroken if he finds out that because of me his girlfriend got kidnapped. He'd probably break up with her to keep her safe. I'll stay… dad." There was much hatred when the word came out of his mouth; Sendo Jr. really despised this place. I wasn't about to let him agonize because of my clumsiness, so I started licking the duct tape, as gross as that sounds. Until if fell off by its own.
-"Yo, Sendo Jr.! I'm not Ritsu's girlfriend, I just barely met him two weeks and a day ago, if we wanna be exact… we're classmates if that counts, excuse me, no we are friends. We made that official a week with four days, to be exact… again." Mr. Sendo lost it. He walked up to me and his hand flew up, I flinched ready to feel the slap. But I didn't, even though a slap was heard. I gazed upward to see Sendo Jr. wide-eyed, he looked at me and shook his head. Then nudged me to look to my right, slowly turning my head to the right I saw a pair of legs that had black pants. Then my eyes went upward, noticing the Ouran academy uniform for boys, then a familiar stern face with red hair. Mr. Sendo had slapped Ritsu's face and now Ritsu had caught his arm.
-"Ritsu! Erm I mean, Kasanoda!" I exclaimed with a smile, he stared at me not knowing what to do, keeping the Sendo man's hand still. Sendo Jr. then untied me and helped me up as Rit- Kasanoda took care of things. We both walked out and waited silently for him to come out. Tetsuya then felt the necessity to introduce himself with a sweet smile.
-"I like you better than your dad, Mr. Sendo. Plus you don't call me small kitten." I alleged truthfully, he chuckled with a nod. Kasanoda then exited and motioned to all of his gang members to go back, he seemed severer and adult like. I was too busy admiring him to notice everyone was leaving, including him. Abruptly my right hand was grasped and I was dragged along by the Kasanoda heir. It was better for me because I could keep admiring his harsh but cool expression, but was interrupted by bearded gangster yelling bye to me and to keep it up with my boyfriend. Responding with a wave I smiled back, but my hand was shot down by a blushing Kasanoda. I too, started blushing and entered the car without a word. As we sat down, Tetsuya, who was sitting across from us, smiled.
-"You too make an adorable couple, if I may say Little Lord." He voiced. We both exclaimed and shook our heads. Tetsuya looked puzzled and looked down at our hands. –"But you are holding hands so tightly, and you call Little Lord by his first name." Both of us glanced down and our hands shot upward, we then looked away blushing. Sendo Jr. then began to apologize for the misunderstanding and tried to change the subject.
-"I told you Ritsu was too informal." Ritsu scolded.
-"I'm sorry, it just sounds better to me… and it's too late to change it! I already got used to it… Plus aren't we supposed to talk in English?" I stuck my tongue out at the last remark.
-"Oh! You even have your own language." Tetsuya exclaimed with excitement, we both blushed again and rode the car in silence the rest of the way. Once we arrived Ritsu walked me to the Host Club where I was received with a thousand hugs and worried remarks. Even the costumers were legitly worried, but no one could beat Tamaki's concernment. Apparently that when word reached his ears about my kidnapping, he had returned to the Host Club and sobbed the whole time I was gone. Everyone in the room sat me down and asked me to tell them the story. As I did, Ritsu sat next to me squirming the whole time and looking uncomfortable. When I finished I paused and look at Kasanoda.
-"How did you know where to find me?" I probed for information; everyone in the room leaned closer to hear his tale also.
-"Uh, it wasn't hard. Um, I just went back home and, uh…"Little Lord paused and leaned backwards. –"Could you guys scoot away? It's creeping me out." He said bluntly.
-"Why should we? You seem fairly comfortable with Rosalie sitting next to you." One of the twins shot back.
-"Cause he sits next to me in class, you dummy. He's obviously used to it." I glared and then sat back, nudging Ritsu to continue.
-"Well, ah as I was saying, I went back home and one of my subordinates gave me a paper with a message. Apparently the Sendo syndicate had called three times and we missed two. So the paper was the voicemail they had left, of course I didn't quite understand because… well, ahem." Ritsu had begun to choke up and his ears turn red. Everybody in the room scooted closer and waited patiently. –"The message they left said that they had kidnapped my, uh… erm ,g-girl..ahem. girlf-
-"Girlfriend?" the twins completed the sentence together, unfazed.
-"Y-yeah." Kasanoda looked away and tried to compose himself. –"Anyways, I reread the message many times until I became pretty pissed. So I ordered one of my members to take me to the Sendo syndicate to investigate who the heck my girlfriend was. And well, you know the rest." He murmured the rest and covered the lower half of his face for some odd reason.
-"Oh so you didn't go because you were specifically going to rescue Rosalie, you went because you might've had a girlfriend that you had no consent of… yeah seems legit." The twins shrugged and smiled mischievously towards me, I guess they were trying to make me feel bad. I frownedback at them and decided to say something.
-"Well whatever the reason was, I'm grateful you came Ritsu." I beamed with a smile that was directed towards him, but for some weird reason he looked down and now covered all of his face with both hands. I was about to lean down and ask what was wrong but Kyoya interrupted.
-"No wonder they thought you were his lover, you address him by his first name. Careless as always, Tenorio-san." My jaw dropped with disbelief, Kyoya seemed fairly irritated. –"Any who, say your goodbyes to everyone, Tenorio-san. We are leaving right now." He said coldly. My eyes widened and my cheeks burned up with anger, but Tamaki Nii-san placed a hand on my shoulder. He shook his head and stood up to help me up. I smiled while Honey-sempai ran up to me and handed me my backpack and Mori-sempai gave me my textbooks. The Hitachiin twins brushed off any dirt I had on my uniform meanwhile Haruhi fixed my hair.
-"Are you done grooming the child? Because we need to leave." The Ootori boy admonished, Tamaki smiled sweetly and sent me off with him. I, of course, stuck my tongue out but followed him without a word.
-"See ya tomorrow Ritsu!" I waved back just to irritate Kyoya even more. We approached his car and rode in silence all the way. When we reached the mansion, I was sent directly to my room and escorted by a servant. By dinner time a knock on my door was heard.
-"Come in." I mumbled, while Kyoya opened the door lazily. My right eyebrow raised and I glared at him. –"What do you want?" I asked emotionlessly.
-"That's not the proper way to talk to your host." He warned, I shrugged at his comment and kept my ground. While sighing he sat down next to me on my bed, and of course I scooted away. –"I don't know why you are so livid with me, but I don't like it and will not stand for it." He said sharply
-"You started it! For some odd reason you got all mad after Ritsu finished his story. And that got me pissed because you have no reason to be mad!" I scolded, the Ootori boy's left eyebrow shot up and he fixed his glasses causing them to glare at me.
-"It is because of your carelessness, you have a great deal to learn in Japan. But this time it was because of your own stupidity, how many times did Ritsu tell you not to call him so informally? How many times did your own classmates warn you about the dangers of being his friend?"
-"The Host club is friends with him!"
-"But because we have less danger, we have the means to defend ourselves when it comes to these situations. You on the other hand have nothing; you are in a different country with no means to be protected." I paused and my gaze turned downward.–"What I suggest is that you end this friendship with the Kasanoda heir. No good could possibly come from this, no gain. I-
-"Gain? Is that all you think about? All you care about is money and what you gain from doing something." I shot back, angrily. That ticked him off and he lunged at me causing me to fall backwards and lay on my bed with Kyoya looming over me. I had never seen him this angry and much less think he could do or think something like this.
He looked straight into my eyes for a while until he spoke.
-"Is that what you think of me?" He asked with sadness in his voice. But I couldn't answer, I was too stunned, my heart was racing and words couldn't leave my mouth. –"No answer? Acceptable, but I will show you that you are wrong." And with that he came closer and closer until our noses touched.
-"K-kyoya?" I spoke his name but with a Spanish accent. The boy then flinched and looked down. He then sat up and began to chuckle to himself. I too, sat up, puzzled and pushed my curly bangs behind my ear. I leaned over to him and poked his side, wondering if he was alright.
-"You ok, Kyoya?" The moment I mentioned his name he froze and glared at me.
-"Now I too have gone into the category of informal calling?" He paused then chuckled -"Does that mean we are friends now?" Kyoya rubbed his chin and smiled.–"Eso me gustaría mucho." (I'd like that very much) I flinched and starred wide-eyed. He then stood up and headed to the door still smiling, but before exiting Kyoya stopped to say something.
-"Oh, dinner is ready."
