Simba POV

I stared in disbelief that my dad took out those three in one go, they didnt pass-out or die, they just... ran like mice being chased by cats, but my dad didnt chase them. Now for the anger and sadness, darn it.

"Dad, I-" i was interrupted by my dad whom said "You deliberately disobeyed me... Lets Go Home". I was so sad that i couldnt think of anything other then what i've done. my stupid actions lead me to this. i was on the verge of crying. Due to the fact, that I always disappoint my parents. i hung my head low as me and my dad walked back to Priderock with Zazu in toll. 'Whats wrong with me? why cant i ever be like my father' i thought and i always wondered why. Probably because he was a Lion, not a cub.

While i was deep in thought, i heard ask Zazu to leave. Zazu obeyed my dad's order and left.

"Simba *sigh* Good Luck" Zazu said before he left. i looked at Zazu as he flew away. Suddenly, i head my dad's deep voice. "Simba!" was what he said. I slowly made my way to my dad.

Along the way, i almost fell and when i looked to what cause me to 'almost fell'. i saw my dad's huge pawprints. it made me scared because the size of it made me lose hope. it made me lose hope because i thought i would never be like my dad. I made my way and sat beside my dad, there was silence before my dad spoke up.

"Simba, i am very disappointed in you, you could have been killed. Whats worst, you made Zazu lose a few feathers, just because of your clumsy actions." I felt even more sad for Zazu, eventhough he's extremely annoying. "I just wanted to be brave like you" i replied, i almost choked up while saying those words.

"Simba, im only brave when i have to be." My dad spoked.

"But, you're never scared" I protested, with a sad face, hoping that one day i would never be scared like him. "I was today" My dad said. I was shock. The King? Scared? Somebody wake me up from this dream. "You were?" was all i could say, because i was still shock.

"Yes, I was afraid of loosing you." My dad replied while looking towards the sunset.

"Heh, even Kings get scared huh?" i joked hoping that would cheer him up a bit. No doubt, he was the best father in the entire world. He was 'The Most' Kindest and Caring Father ever. Seriously.

"Yes" my father replied with a slight grin. I wanted that grin to grow into a smile so i continued.

"But you know what?" I said with a mischievous grin

"what?" was all my dad replied, though it was a curious yet happy kind of 'what'. "I think those hyenas were even scarder" I joked which i received a chuckle from my dad.

"Cuz nobody messes with your daddy. COME HERE YOU!" my dad said with a happy-cheery kind of voice. He pulled me into a tight embrace and rub my head. We played for awhile before we stopped and i asked him

"Dad, we're pals right?" I asked

"Right" my dad smiled

"And we'll always be together right?"

My dad just smiled, then he got up and said

"Simba, you still remember about the kings of the past i told you about right?" He said while i nodded

"In that case, we are forever pals Simba. Even if i go, i will always be with you. Because 'He Lives In You', Understand?" He continued. I understand the first part but i definitely dont know what he's saying at the last part

"Uhhh, first part yeah but, not the last part." I replied, my dad chuckled then we just laid there admiring the stars before deciding to go home. Along the way, i kept trying to understand what my dad said. but i cant, so i just shrugged it off.

Nala POV

I was seriously starting to get worried because Simba and King Mufasa hasn't return yet. Heck, the whole pride was getting worried, but Queen Sarabi just asked everyone to get some rest and she also said that they would be in the Royal Den by tomorrow. Eventually, everyone calmed down, but i was still worried. Queen Sarabi was still awake and she was sitting at the ledge.

I got up and walked to her.

"Hey Aunt Sar-" i was interrupted by Aunt Sarabi whom jumped due to shockness (idk if thats even a word. guess not but meh) and surprise. When she saw that it was just me, she sighed in relief.

"Nala, dont scare me like that" Aunt Sarabi said with a smile which caused me to giggle, but 'the giggle' shortly stopped and I took in a deep breath before asking, "Aunt Sarabi, where's Simba? he's been out for soooo long"

She gave me a sly smile before answering "Young Love ehh?". I blushed and quickly replied "No! its just that, im worried, because its umm night?" with a toothy smile hoping she would believe.

Sadly, she continued on with the teasing and said "Oh wait, is it time for your 'cuddly cuddle time'?" I blushed even more and rolled my eyes and said "Nooooo, just worrieeedd" i complained which i received a giggle from Aunt Sarabi. Then, she stopped and overlooked the lands.

Suddenly, her face became joyful and happy, i was curious so i sat beside her and saw what she was looking at. 'It Was Simba And Mufasa!'
