Author's Note: I'm not even sure if anyone is still sticking with this story, being that I'm horrible at updating. /: But if you are, here's chapter 4!
Alicia stared at her appearance in the vanity mirror, admiring the cheerleading uniform that she wore her previous year. While she filled it out a little more than before, she was practically the same person; thankfully, the only baby weight that she gained went to her backside.
She couldn't believe that she made the team as captain once again. Lois hated her even more than she already did, but Alicia could care less; she was just glad that she'd be able to cheer again.
Seth eased into the bedroom with Aaliyah in his arms. She was squealing happily as he waved her around the room. He looked toward Alicia, an instant grin forming on his face.
"Damn," he breathed, eyeing her exposed legs. She turned to him and narrowed her eyes.
"Watch your mouth," she warned, laughing lightly. He gasped playfully, walking over to stand next to her. As she tied her wavy hair into a ponytail, Seth fetched her red bow from her things. She thanked him as she tied it around her ponytail, sighing with content. Tonight was their first game, and she had to admit that she was pretty excited to get out there again.
"It's going to be Liyah's first football game," Seth said, blowing a kiss into Aaliyah's belly. Alicia smiled warmly and reached for her daughter.
"You're gonna be there to cheer mommy on tonight?" she asked, resting her child against her chest. Aaliyah smiled widely, revealing the tiny tooth that was trying to grow in; it looked absolutely adorable.
"I can't believe our little angel is already six months," Alicia spoke; she was honestly a little dejected that her daughter was growing up so fast. Seth wrapped his arms around Alicia from behind and sighed into her hair.
"She'll be in college before we know it," he laughed. She frowned and pecked Aaliyah's forehead.
"Oh, shut up," she whined. Her phone blared from the dresser as she averted her attention toward it. She grabbed it and saw that Lois was calling—she had her saved as Queen Bitch. "What does this ignoramus want?"
"There's only one way to find out," he joked, taking the child from her. He walked over and fetched a bottle from the mini fridge that sat in the corner of Alicia's room.
She groaned before answering the call. "Hello?"
"Are you on your way?" she barked; she didn't even bother to say hi. Alicia rolled her eyes and fetched her pompoms from the vanity.
"I'm in the car," she lied, motioning toward Seth to hurry up. He nodded quickly as he gathered the baby bag together.
"The captain should always be early to every game," Lois spat. Alicia raised her eyebrows and pulled the phone away from her ear, glaring toward it.
"Who does this bitch think she is?" Alicia asked, looking toward Seth. He chuckled as he buckled Aaliyah into her car seat.
"Watch your language, babe," he teased. She smiled a bit and put the phone back to her ear.
"I'll be there in a minute. Bye," she snapped, ending the call. "I really hate her."
"She's just jealous of you," Seth told her as they walked out into the living room. Tiffany and her boyfriend Demetrius were engulfed in a movie as their son Jaelin ran circles around the coffee table.
"I'm about to leave," Alicia said as she placed a kiss on her nephew's cheek.
"Have fun, you guys," Tiffany told them. "You look cute, by the way, Alicia."
"Make sure those guys win," Demetrius chimed in. They left the house without a word more, and made their way to the field.
…
As expected, the Spartans won; it was a great first game. Most of the classmates were excited to meet Aaliyah for the first time, mind blown at how beautiful and advanced she was. Lois did everything she could to hide her envy toward Alicia, but her guard was let down when she caught Hector staring at her ass; she let him have it in front of the entire football team. It was definitely an interesting show to watch.
"She's so cute!" Becca, one of the cheerleaders, said as she bounced Aaliyah on her lap. "Can I keep her?"
"Good luck trying to separate her and Seth," Alicia laughed as she sat across from her. Alex and Elena, Lois' best friends on the team, watched as Seth conversed with one of his friends out on the field, eyeing him hungrily. Alicia followed their gaze, and then looked back to them. An uncomfortable feeling sat at the pit of her stomach; she didn't like when other girls lusted after her boyfriend.
"Seth is so fine. Alicia, you're a lucky girl," Alex told her, focusing her attention on Alicia. Alicia smiled awkwardly and reached for Aaliyah.
"Well, we better go. It's way past this munchkins bedtime," she said, causing Becca to frown.
"See you Monday," she told her, handing Liyah over to her mother.
"Tell Seth we said bye," Elena called after Alicia as she walked off.
"Wow, how thirsty can you get?" she heard one of the other girls say. Alicia laughed to herself as she walked up to Seth. He smiled when he caught sight of his beautiful girlfriend.
"You ready to go?" he asked, grabbing onto her hand.
"Please. Let's get out of here before the cheerleading team asks for your autograph," she remarked. He gave her a questioning stare, but shrugged it off before they left they stadium.
…
Two months later
Alicia moaned quietly as she rotated her hips over Seth's; they were trying their hardest to keep their voices down with the knowledge that Jacob and Leah were in the room next to theirs, and Seth's mother was out in the living room.
She rested her palms over his chest and she rode him slowly, listening as he whispered her name with intense pleasure.
"Fuck," she moaned as she felt a burning sensation at the pit of her stomach; she knew she was close. "Fuck, fuck, fuck."
"Shhh," Seth warned, resting his fingers over her lips. He squeezed his eyes shut as he bucked into her, using his free hand to tickle her clit. She bit down on his thumb as she came, gasping repeatedly to suppress her urge to scream out congenially. He came seconds later, holding her hips in a bruising embrace.
Alicia watched his face for a few seconds, smiling softly; there was just something dangerously attractive about the face he made when he had an orgasm.
He finally opened his eyes to look up at her, smiling when he locked eyes with her. She grazed her lips against his, trailing her fingers along his chiseled jaw.
"I love you, Clearwater," she whispered, pecking him softly. He wrapped his arms around her body and kissed her again, slower this time.
"I love you too," he whispered back. She looked into his eyes, sighing heavily.
"When are we going to be able to make love without having to be quiet?" she joked, even though she was being slightly serious.
"When we get our own place," he responded, caressing along her smooth body; he couldn't get enough of his gorgeous girlfriend.
"That'd be nice," she admitted, considering the idea of her and Seth on their own with their daughter. He had a pretty good job and since Sue wasn't working anymore, she was able to babysit Aaliyah when the two went to school. It would be perfect, she just didn't know if they were ready to take that step yet.
"It would," he agreed, moving to sit up. He still had a firm hold on her as they continued to look into each other's eyes, reveling in the peace that they were currently enjoying. Much to their dismay, sex was rare. When they were able to find time to make love, it had to be short and quiet. They couldn't even remember how they were able to get away with it before.
"One day," she promised, nudging her nose against his. He smirked before pressing his lips against hers, sighing into the kiss. They heard a knock from the door, breaking their kiss.
"Hold on!" Seth called as they broke apart, covering their naked bodies with the comforter. They looked to each other briefly. "Okay, come in."
Leah opened the door, revealing her, Jacob and a teary-eyed Aaliyah. Seth and Alicia were sure that the room smelled of fresh sex, and it was clear that they weren't clothed.
"She wants her parents," Jacob said as he held on to his borderline niece—it was only a matter of time before Leah and Jacob would get married.
"We'll come get her in a second," Alicia said, blushing intensely. Leah chuckled a bit, inching out the door.
"We understand," she winked. Jacob laughed with her as they closed the door after them. Seth groaned and sunk down in the bed. Alicia giggled, resting her head on his arm.
"Well, that wasn't awkward at all…" she sighed. The thought of getting their own place sounded even better.
…
4 months later
It was Aaliyah's first birthday, and Seth and Alicia were experiencing a series of mixed emotions. They were both excited that she was ageing so gracefully, but they couldn't deny that it was sad seeing their little angel grow up so quickly.
"Seth, did you pick up the cake?" Alicia shouted into the phone as her, Leah and Tiffany hung up last minute decorations around her house.
"Yeah, I have it. Me and the guys are about to go get the piñata," he responded, watching as Jacob and Demetrius carefully carried the cake to the car.
"Okay, we're almost done with the decorations!" she yelled, fidgeting with a streamer that wouldn't stay in place.
"Babe, why are you screaming at me?" Seth asked, wincing as Jacob almost tripped with the cake.
"Oh, sorry. The music is up pretty loud," she apologized, hopping down from the ladder.
"What's my princess doing?" he wondered, thankful that the guys managed to get the cake in the car without ruining it; it was a pretty big one.
Alicia looked to the playpen, watching as the birthday girl played with her cousin, Jaelin. She looked beautiful; Alicia did her hair in an adorable style with bows, and she had on a floral dress. She had to have been the cutest one year old in the world at that moment.
"She's beating up her cousin," she laughed, walking over to the two toddlers. Seth laughed heartily as he made his way to the party store.
"Well, we'll be there in no time," he promised.
"Okay," she said, smiling cheekily as she looked around at the lively decorations. Tiffany and Leah were in awe at the amount of presents that Seth and Alicia alone had purchased. They couldn't wait to see the pile grow as the guests arrived.
"Oh, and one more thing," Seth said.
"Yeah?" Alicia asked. The line was silent for a moment before Seth spoke up.
"I love you," he whispered huskily. She blushed intensely as an enormous amount of heat traveled down her body.
"I love you too," she whispered back. The line went dead, but the happiness that Alicia felt inside was alive and well.
…
Four Months Later
Alicia stared at the ground as her hands trembled lightly. Tiffany was pacing in front of her, holding something nerve wracking in her hands—a pregnancy test.
"Is it ready yet?" Alicia breathed, looking toward the door. She hadn't told anyone but her sister that she could be pregnant again—she was afraid of what they'd say, especially Seth.
"Not yet," Tiffany told her, crouching down in front of her younger sister. Alicia had tears in her eyes, thinking back on the night her and Seth had finally been able to make love like they used to. They were at her place while Leah was babysitting Aaliyah. No one was home, and they wouldn't be for hours.
Alicia and Seth were cuddled up on the couch watching a movie, when one thing led to another. Clothes were thrown in every area of the house as the two made up for lost time. Needless to say, a condom wasn't involved in any of the escapades.
Now, Alicia was watching her sister with wide eyes as her fate rested in Tiffany's hands.
Tiffany looked down at the test, taking a deep breath. Alicia already knew what to expect; the fear was written all over Tiffany's face.
Silent tears streamed down Alicia's face as Tiffany handed her the test.
"It's positive," Alicia whispered, shaking her head slowly. That familiar feeling that she felt only a year and half earlier came rushing back to her. "I fucking knew it'd be positive."
"Leesh," Tiffany whispered, clutching onto her sisters hand. Her eyes were watery as she watched her younger sister cry helplessly.
"I can't do this again," Alicia cried, slamming the test onto the counter.
"Just let it sink in for a minute, okay?" Tiffany pleaded, hoping to calm things down a bit.
"Seth's going to hate this," Alicia cried, closing her eyes. "He's going to hate me."
"I'll kick his ass if he has anything to say! He was a 50% contributor to this, you know?" Tiffany threatened. Alicia swallowed deeply as she heard a knock to the door.
"Alicia? You in there? Your mom let me in," the voice sounded. It was Seth.
Tiffany and Alicia looked up at the door, their eyes wide. Alicia looked at the test, cursing under her breath.
"Hold on," Alicia said, rising from the toilet. She gave Tiffany a horrified stare before unlocking the door. She swung it open, coming face to face with her oblivious boyfriend. His face dropped when he saw the tears flowing freely down her cheeks.
"What's wrong?" he asked, his eyes averting to Tiffany. He looked back into Alicia's eyes, reaching for her hand. She took a step back as she grasped the counter, looking away from him. He gave her a puzzled stare, narrowing his eyes.
"What did I do?" he whispered, his eyes full of deep concern.
"It's not what you did," she told him, taking the test in her hands. "It's what we did." His eyes dropped to the test as he slowly came to the realization of what was happening.
"You're pregnant?" he whispered, his heart rate picking up as the seconds passed. He could feel the chattering of his teeth as he watched Alicia cry before him.
"I'm sorry," she cried, slouching down to the ground. "I'm sorry," she repeated, watching as her sister and her boyfriend moved to sit beside her.
"Don't apologize for anything," he told her, resting his forehead against hers. "Like I said before, we're in this together. No matter what happens, we're in this together."
Tiffany smiled over at him, thankful that she didn't have to give him a beat down. Her sister had a good guy.
"What are we going to do, Seth?" Alicia whispered as she allowed him to latch his arms around her waist. "Because I can't do this again… I can't."
An unreadable expression crossed Seth's features at her words. He looked her up and down slowly, rising to his feet.
"Are you saying what I think you're saying?" he breathed. Tiffany didn't know whether or not it was time for her to leave or not, so she silently remained on the ground.
"I don't know," Alicia said, looking up at him with uncertainty. "I don't know what I'm saying. All I know is, I can't have another baby. I can't go through the same pain that I went through with Liyah. I'm not physically, or mentally strong enough. I can't do it."
"You're scaring me," he admitted, his eyes turning red due to the tears that were itching to come out. He feared that she was hinting toward an abortion, which the both of them were tremendously against—at least, that's what he thought.
"Seth," she whispered.
"No," he told her.
"Seth!" she snapped.
"No! What you're saying is bullshit. We did this to ourselves; we're going to have to own up to it! We're having this baby," he spat, a tear finally managing its way down his cheek.
"You can't tell me what I can and can't do with my body!" she retorted, rising to her feet.
"Are you kidding me? You're really going to be one of those girls? You know what, while you're at it, just go get your fucking tubes tied. You and I both knew the risks, yet we continued to have sex. But now… you're trying to take the easy way out. It's selfish, and it's cruel!" he yelled, the angry tears sliding down his tanned cheeks. The house was dangerously quiet as his words sunk in.
Tiffany was still planted on the ground, her chest heaving excessively. She couldn't help but to agree with Seth. While she knew how afraid her sister was, she'd never think to get an abortion.
"I just don't know what to do," Alicia cried as she slowly trudged up to Seth until she was pressed up against him. "I'm sorry for even suggesting that. I just… can't imagine having another child so soon. I'm scared." He finally wrapped his arms around her, pulling her insanely close to him.
"I know you are, because I am too," he admitted, sighing heavily. "But we're going to get through this, just like we did the first time. We've done it before, we can do it again. We're strong enough, Alicia."
As if his words were the antidote to a chilling disease, Alicia's heart lifted. She could tell that her previous thoughts were barbaric, and she was just thankful that if she had to go through childbirth again, she'd go through it with Seth Clearwater at her side.
