Normal P.O.V

'Honey, I TOLD YOU TO MAKE A CHECKLIST, ISN'T THAT WHAT ALL WOMEN DO IN THEIR SLEEP'

'oh stop complaining, you grumpy old man!'

'If I'm old and grumpy, doesn't that make you the wife of an old and grumpy man?'

'Something that I regret from day one' before the old couple could pull their lover's guts out, they were interrupted by their cute little frustrated boy, Yoichi 'Can we just go now, you're wasting my time'

'You You, how could you be so mean to your mummy, come over here and give your mum a big fat kiss' Yuka ran down the stairs with her fully stuffed hand luggage on her right shoulder as she attempted to hug her son and plant a big fat kiss on his rosy cheeks but was a second too late; she kissed the polished floor goodbye.

'I'll be in the car' he left with a cold shoulder, leaving their parents admiring how much he's changed and grown up over the years.

'He use to love my hugs and kisses' Yuka whispered as she tear up at the sight in front of her 'Our children are finally adults now' her husband wrapped his arm around her small waist to close the gap between them.

Mikan P.O.V

'Mikan, are your friends waiting on the other side' my mother had asked again, as we waited to land back into Japan. My parents had finally decided that Japan was the best place to start our company because of the connections built before, which only means that I'm seeing Natsume more often, since I will be handling the affair

'I don't think so' but truthfully, I wanted them there, I wanted to see the girls again and Aoi and…Natsume. But I knew that they were not going to be there, but there's nothing wrong in hoping.

'Mikan, didn't you call them?' Ray popped into our conversations.

'no' was all that I could whisper out of my mouth. I was too scared to face Hotaru's disappointed face and see the face of distrust and anguish on the girls' expression, I knew they felt betrayed that I didn't tell them about my family and my history.

'Mikan, I'm going to be here, I'll keep a close eye on you so they won't hurt you, okay' Ray reassured me as he interrupted my chain of thoughts by gently grabbing my hand and squeezing it gently, but his kind words seemed to make me shudder at the sudden closeness and bitterness in his voice, but maybe that was just me being stupid.

Yuka P.O.V

As I looked from the side at how close Ray was with Mikan, it made me feel frustrated, is this feeling the feeling of having your daughter being courted in front of your eyes. But I'm meant to be the cool mom, why wouldn't I want Mikan to be dating? I've always wanted grandchildren but why is it that something seems off. I just can't seem to pinpoint why his face reminded me of someone…but that can't be possible. Why would I even think about this, it's the past that's meant to be forgotten.

Normal P.O.V

As the Yurkihara family and Ray started to head out of the borders and enter into Japan, they were greeted by a gun

BAKA BAKA BAKA

Before anyone could register what had happen or take cover for their own safety, Mikan Sakura Yukihira was thrown across the platform, as she unconsciously landed against the wall. Silence engulfed the atmosphere but a piercing sweet giggle ripped away the silence

'You must be Hotaru Imai, my daughter has spoken a lot about you' Yuka laughed at how realist her daughter had described her long best friend.

'Hotaru Imai, at your service' She politely greeted herself with money sign eyes, as she knew that this women would be her money maker alongside with her bunny boy.

'And you guys must be my daughter's best friends right?' Yuka diverted her attention from the ice queen to the four standing girls

'I'm Misaki , I'm the eldest and the big sister to them' 'Good morning Mrs Yurihara, I'm Anna and this is my twin sister Nonoko' 'Sumire Shouda, the only girl in this group that has a sense of taste in fashion and their fashion advisor' As the four groups bowed simultaneously after they introduced themselves to the older version of Mikan.

'Honey, did you forget about me and your son' Izumi pouted as he snacked his arms around her waist.

'Girls, this is my husband, Izumi and my son Yoichi' she used her hands to gesture to the two males that had a important place in her heart

'Yoichi!' a quite but shocked voice whispered

'Aoi' he paled as he looked up to face the girl that had stolen his heart from a young age

'It's really you, right?' she whisper as tears gushed out of her eyes, not being able to voice her mind, she ran into him where she was greeted by open and comforting hands 'I miss you' she whispered into his ears

'I know' Youchan grinned knowing she was still his and no could replace his place ever other these years

'Hotaru..' Mikan finally woke up from her deep BAKA BAKA slumber

'yes idoit' Hotaru looked coldly at her long best friends 'I'm so sorry, I didn't mean run away, I..I…I guess I was too weak to face you guys' Mikan cried a river pool as she felt a pair of comforting hand wrap around her shoulder 'I know idiot, that why I didn't fly over. I waited for you to return back as my baka' she whispered to her as she gently patted her head. Seconds later, four pairs of arms squeezed the two into a sausage roll 'GROUP HUG' Sumire screamed out.

Realising how awkward it was for everyone around, they dislocated themselves from each other, as they started to head out of the airport, they were greeted by more familiar faces, maybe a bit too familiar for Mikan's liking.
