Collateral Damage
"You looked like a thug" Emily groaned and threw her dirty bag, to the source of the voice. "Good thing you always had bad aim" the male voice said with a sarcastic tone.
"What do you want, oh almighty Mister Chin?" Emily said sarcastically as she planted her hands in the couch. Jordy only smiled and sat again the couch in front of her. "What?" she growled and glared at the man in front of her.
"A friend of mine, got something of yours, dearie" Jordy said as he took from the coffee table a glass a whiskey. "By the way, he is mad cause is not what he wanted" he added pointing at her with his glass than taking a sip of the orange liquid.
"And is my problem, because?" Emily said with a bored toned as she circled the couch and sat in front of Jordy. She started to remove her black heels. "That friend of yours, whatever he took from me, is worthless I am not that dumb" She said as she tucked her feet below her.
"Well you were letting the security updates flying around, is not very smart" Emily glared at Jordy, and clenched her fists. "Now is your problems isn't? But bad thing Uncle Jordy is not here to help you"
"Well he can have the security codes, but without the encoder I doubt he can do much" Emily growled as she stood from the couch and planted her hands in the wooden table.
"What did I tell you, she gets mad easily" Emily almost jumped out of her skin, as a new shadow appeared behind Jordy. She took some steps back, totally forgetting the couch was just behind her.
"What the hell? Jordy! Are you mad?" Emily said standing up abruptly pointing at Jordy, who was smirking. "He is the person who caused me so much misfortune today, so now give me MY CODE" she said menacingly as she took the flower vase
"Of course, we are so scared with your flowers we are going to give you the code" Jordy said, Emily turned around and glared at Jordy. "Emily, what the fuck? Are you mad?" he said as Emily threw the flower vase to his head, but missed miserably. But the water and flowers had fell into his pants, the vase crashed into the window.
"I want my codes now" Emily said as she searched for another thing to throw.
"I thought they were security updates for the cTOS" Finally Aiden decided to talk and stood beside Jordy.
"Well whatever they am, I made them" Emily growled as she took a step back and took her broom. "Now gentleman, give me those codes, or else" she said as she pointed at them with the broom.
"Emily stopped being dumb, and give me that encoder" Jordy said as he violently took from her the broom; Emily glared at him and crossed her arms.
"Well too bad my boss has it, whoopsie" Emily said in a childish tone, "Now if you excu…"
"You have a backup in that laptops of yours, too bad I can't hack it" Aiden said interrupting Emily, who only glared at him.
"Oh too bad that laptop has a virus and is dead" Emily growled as she took a quick step back and hid behind the granite counter, she started to search through the spices for something to threw at the men.
"Virus? Miss Perfect got a virus, oh how stupid" Jordy said
"Hey, stupid co-workers that I have, who gives me a memory USB with a virus, is not my fault" Emily screeched, throwing useless bottles of spices into the white floor.
"We can stay up all night, you can do an encoder, we have time" Jordy said signaling the desktop by her window.
"I will not do it, I`ve done it. I just need to do the security code, too bad I don't remember the code" Emily said walking to the kitchen, she had found nothing to throw at the intruding men. "Do you want some coffee or tea? Is rude not to offer…"
"We are not here to play Miss Toler, give us the code or I will kill you" Aiden said, he was getting tired of the childish play of this woman.
"Oh really? Go ahead, I have nothing to lose unlike you, you needs the encoder" Emily said as she opened the fridge and took a bottle of water. "Do it quickly, I don't want to give to my boss the excuse that my dog ate the code"
"Emily be reasonable we are not doing nothing illegal" Jordy said
"Yeah right, and I am not a woman" Emily said as she put the cap in the bottle and then put the bottle in the counter.
"I always thought you are an ugly man" Jordy said as he took a sit by the counter.
"Shut up, Jordy, what do you want the security updates so much? There are stupid and worthless if you ask me" Emily was getting cranky, she was tired, she stank like a man that had run more five miles and she was having a headache thinking of ways of how to do the stupid code they had stolen from her.
"What do you mean?" Aiden said as he stood behind Jordy.
"There are just minor adjustments to the alert system of the criminals nothing much" Emily said, she knew it was a very big fat lie, but she didn't care, she knew that the people who Jordy associated with were very dangerous people, better lie.
"So they are not security updates?" Aiden asked, of course she was bluffing, her body language was given her away.
"Of course not, those codes are made in the main central, who can be so dumb do it" Emily said she started to get nervous, than man looked at her intently and she was getting uncomfortable.
"Hey Jordy, your friend is very funny" Emily said trying to find a better lie.
"Well I hang with fun people I don't want to be such a sad person" Jordy said.
"Well too bad, now gentleman if you are so kind to live, I have a job to do" Emily said changing completely the path of the conversation.
"Miss Toler, you do the security updates?" Aiden said as he took out his cellphone.
"Yeah, why? You want some too?" Emily said as she crossed her arms. She looked at the clock behind Aiden and saw that it was already eleven o`clock.
"Easy Emily, my friend is not very patient like I am" Jordy said, he could feel that Aiden was getting impatient.
"Good now pissoff" She said with a smug smile and turned around and search through the cabinets. "The other is to your left gentlemen"
"If the codes are so worthless, why the encoder?" Aiden said as he looked again through the codes he had stolen from Emily.
"I don't know, ask my boss Mister Gilligan, kill him if you would be so kind, fucking pervert" Emily said as she shrugged, she had that vague memory when her fat boss tried to touch her legs.
"At least a man is interested in you" Jordy said as he took a bottle of wine and pour himself a cup.
"Shut it Jordy" Emily growled at Jordy, who only shrugged and took a sip of the wine.
"Can it be used with another code?" Aiden said as he looked at the random lines of code that were hidden in the code.
"Of course, the encoder is made to encode another code, why? Hey are you trying to hack to the cTos" Emily asked, why she was so dumb, of course it was him, the vigilante Aiden Pearce, how could she be so stupid in not recognizing this man sooner.
"Already done it dearie" Jordy said, he wanted to laugh at the misery face that Emily had put.
"Oh shit, you`re Aiden Pearce" Emily blurted out; she blushed and quickly covered her mouth.
"Ding, ding we have a winner" Jordy said with sarcasm.
"Jordy, shut up" Emily said as she tried to control her blush, god she was so stupid.
"Well, Em you being the stupid here, now can you give him a copy?" Jordy said, he was tired of these game.
"No" Emily said as she crossed her arms and stick her chin out.
"Why not?" Jordy asked.
"Because is not right, I will not do anything illegal" Emily said, she knew somebody would discover she had given the vigilante the code, and she wasn't going to go to jail because of this man.
"You have already done it Miss Toler" Aiden said with a smirk as he put down his cellphone.
"Hey, what the hell?" Emily said as she looked at the screen of her desktop. It was downloading the code to an unknown source.
"Thank you, now be more careful with your computer" Jordy said jumping out of the stool.
"I hate you both, I will you kill you if I had a gun" Emily said as she glared at the two man who walked to the exit.
"Too bad you don't have one, and have bad aim" Jordy said in a singing voice.
Emily growled and took from a box a cookies a laptop. "That`s not the code Mister Almighty Hacker, that`s a virus"
