Geez... This took me a hour to type up...

Well enjoy this new chapter.

I was having one of those dreams again. Except this time, I was witnessing a moment in Nepeta's life instead of Eridan's. For the past few days, I kept on getting these dreams. I thought they were just my crazy imagination getting out of hand.

But I knew this wasn't canon...

Nepeta was in a dark room. She was trapped in a large cage. A few adult trolls surrounded her. They were teasing her and my heart was breaking to see it happen. I couldn't do anything to help her, but I wished I could.

This was a dream though.

Suddenly everything went dark. When my vision returned, a older troll was standing near me. I braced myself but she didn't lay a finger on me. I looked up at her, waiting for her to speak. A quiet moment passed between us.

Then she whispered my name. I was surprised. How did she know who I was? "Who are you?" I asked.

She didn't answer me right away. Her violet eyes only gazed at me. "You'll know soon. All of the questions about your past will become clear. A great destiny awaits you. I've seen and heard things that would amaze you."

I glanced up. That voice... it was achingly familiar but I couldn't figure out why.

Everything went black again and I woke up. I sat up with my head spinning in confusion. That was more than a dream. I knew it.

My room was still dark but I could see a little bit. I crawled to the other side of my bed and looked at my alarm clock.

5:06.

I groaned and face palmed my pillow.

Good thing I had my portable radio/CD player nearby. Without that, things would have been not so pleasant until my dad got me up for school. When he did, I climbed down the ladder to the bunk bed that I shared with my little sister.

I did the normal before school routine and spend 45 minutes on my laptop. I checked my Tumblr dash. There was a bunch of posts that I haven't seen yet. There was nothing new on the MS Paint Adventure site since the Gigapause announcement.

"Its 8:45!" Dad yelled. I shut off my laptop and headed off to school

"So have you found their base yet?" Karkat asked Sollux. "Nope" Sollux checked the device that he programmed. "Fuck." Karkat muttered.

The twelve trolls and the beta kids had been following Jade's information of "they went west" for several hours now. There was no evidence of any building, unless they were hidden. Sollux made a tracker to find Nepeta, but it was too weak and could only detect her from 500 feet away. Sollux was trying to make it stronger.

"I got it now!" Sollux announced. Everyone perked up.

"Where is she?" Karkat asked. "Only a hour away."

Karkat's knees began shaking in relief.

"Thank Gog..."

Nepeta collapsed to the ground. She was weak, cold, and hungry. She glanced around. She was alone. Nepeta curled up into a ball in misery.

Suddenly the door to the hive got blasted open. Nepeta looked up.

"What was that for?"

"Well you wanted a way to get in."

"We were trying to sneak in you fucking idiot!"

"Sorry..."

"Karkitty..." Nepeta whispered, recognizing his voice along with Eridan's. Her friends were here to rescue her. She threw herself against the bars of the cage. The noise alerted Karkat. "I think I found her!" He ran into the almost empty hive followed by Equius, Feferi, Sollux and Eridan.

"You came."

Karkat dismissed Nepeta. "Yeah, yeah. I know. Now, lets get out of here before those nooksniffers decide to come back." He noticed the lock. Before Karkat could make a fuss, Equius bend the bars until there was enough space for Nepeta to squeeze through. Nepeta crawled out and landed in her moirail's arms.

Equius picked her up gently and was about to run inside when three adult trolls entered the hive. "Run!" Sollux yelled.

Everyone ran out, but on the way, Eridan fired at one of the older trolls with his wand. Feferi glared at him. "That was not necessary. You already screwed up by blasting the door open. Did you really have to do what you just did?"

Eridan didn't reply. Terezi cackled and sped ahead of the group. "That was some pretty good justice we did back there." Vriska grinned and pushed Terezi.

Ah, field trips.

They're better than class. Especially if its somewhere interesting. Today, my science class was visiting Crystal Aquarium.

Our teacher let us split into groups, but I wandered the place alone. There was cuttlefish in one exhibit. I chuckled a little. Cuttlefish reminded me of Feferi.

My eyes darted from the cuttlefish, to a figure at my left, gazing up at a tank. Sharks swam about, mixed in with a colony of brightly colored fish. The figure seemed to be amused by the sight.

I stopped and walked closer to the mysterious figure.

Once I was only a few feet from, I thought I was dreaming. He looked like...

Nope. I tried to silence that thought. It had to be a cosplayer. But his horns looked pretty real though. I attempted to calm down. My heart was pounding so loudly that I bet he could hear it.

He turned around. Unless those were contacts he was wearing, I was face to face with Eridan from Homestuck. I backed up in surprise. I was about to say something, but before a word could leave my mouth, Eridan dashed away.

"Hey! Come back here!" I want your autograph!" I paused. "Just kidding! But that would be nice! Where did you go?!" I ran after him.

People were giving me strange looks, but I didn't care. I dodged group after group until I noticed a open door. I sped through and the door shut behind me.

"Shit." I was trapped outside.

Eridan stepped away from me. "Forget that you even saw me." He jumped on a transportizer and teleported away. Without even thinking, I leaped on it.

Everything around me vanished. I closed my eyes. Where was I going?

When I opened my eyes, I noticed that I was in a room with a lot of computers. It seemed like I had seen it before. Yes... I knew this place.

I was on Alterina.

There you go.

I was going to say more but I kind of forgot what I wanted to type.

I'm wearing a pair of Nepeta horns to school on Thursday.
