Author's notes are really hard to begin. But here you go. This chapter is shorter than normal, but I'm moving in a couple of days. I'm going to have my own room finally! I'm probably going to make it Homestuck themed.
"Karkat I'm serious. I was chased by a fucking human." Eridan said. Karkat rolled his eyes.
"So? Did she do anything to you?"Karkat snapped. "No...she just ran after me. She probably saw me transportize back though."
Karkat walked though the hallway with Eridan close behind him. "I'm worried. What if she told somebody? What if she actually followed me here?" He rubbed the edge of his scarf.
"Don't be a idiot. The transportizer was set to return to its original location seconds after activation. There's no way that anyone could follow your ass here." Karkat put his hand on the knob to the computer lab.
"Whatever." Eridan sighed.
Karkat opened the door and gasped. Eridan's eyes widened. "Holy fucking shit." Karkat whispered.
When the door opened, I turned around. What I saw made me jump.
Karkat and Eridan were standing in the doorway staring at me. I waved at them. "Hi" I said cheerfully. "You were right. She did follow you here." Karkat looked at Eridan.
I walked towards them. They backed up.
"Who are you?" Eridan asked.
I casually leaned against the wall. "Oh... just some nobody." I smugly grinned. Karkat glared at me. "Stop fooling around like a wiggler that just hatched yesterday and tell me your name."
"Fine grumpy pants." I quickly glanced at Eridan and noticed that there was a slight grin on his face. I stopped leaning against the wall and stood up normally.
"I'm Casidy." I said.
Karkat folded his arms against his chest. "Its nice to meet you. Now get the fuck out of here." Eridan shoved him. "Don't be rude. She's... not that bad so far."
"Really?" I butted in.
Eridan jumped. He looked away with his cheeks turning a faint shade of violet.
"Don't even think about finface." Karkat warned. He pushed by Eridan and stomped out of the lab. A awkward silence filled the room.
"Um...hi?" I whispered nervously. Eridan blinked. "Glub." he muttered before escaping the room.
I stood there confused. I had no idea where everything was in this place, so I felt lost. I hesitantly walked out of the door and glanced left and right.
There was a hallway. Across from the door to the computer lab, I saw something that looked like the front door. On my left, I spotted what I guessed was the dining room. On my right, I noticed a collection of doors on both sides of the hallway. Those were probably the bedrooms for the trolls.
I decided to see if anyone was in the dining room. I stepped towards the slightly open door. Suddenly I heard the sound of running feet. I spun around.
Too late.
Whatever was behind me crashed into me. I fell face first.
"h33 h33!"
That voice clicked in my head. Could it be? I turned around my body around until I was face to face with Nepeta. She giggled and jumped off of me.
"Ac is purrfectly glad to meet mew!" Nepeta bounced up and down. I stood up. "So am I" I said.
Nepeta purred and hugged me. But she was so short that she could hug me just above my waist. I patted her head and rubbed the area in between her horns. Nepeta grabbed my hand. "Come on!"
She led me to the dining room where most of the Beta Crew were gathered. John, Rose, Aradia, Jade, Terezi, Gamzee, Feferi, Equius, Dave, Sollux, Tarvos, and Karkat were scattered around the block.
"Where the hell is..."Karkat paused when he saw me and Nepeta enter the room. "Have you two seen Kanaya, Vriska, or Eridan?" Nepeta shook her head. "No Karkitty." "Eridan was in the computer lab last time I checked." I added.
"I saw Kanaya in her block." Tarvos spoke up. Rose stood up. "I'll go get her." She left the block in a hurry.
Vriska walked into the room. She pulled a chair next to Tarvos and Gamzee. "So are we ready to start this meeting?" Terezi asked. To my surprise no one noticed me in the room. "we can't start without Eridan." Feferi said.
Sollux squeezed next to her and Aradia. "Do we really need him?" Aradia shot Sollux a angry glare. "Don't be like that. I know you don't like him but... can you be a little nicer?"
"Nope."
Vriska snickered. Karkat deeply sighed. "I decided to gather all of your idiots up because we have someone else to deal with now." He pointed to me. I shyly waved. "Hello." Everyone gasped. "How did she get here?" Tarvos questioned. "I followed Eridan." Nepeta giggled. Karkat groaned. "Nepeta. Please don't even think about shipping right now."
"Why? Its sooooooo CUTE!"
I blushed and face palmed. "Please don't..."
Eridan stepped into the room. "Did I miss anything?" "Nope." Dave replied. Karkat rolled his eyes. "If you guys want to ask her any questions, go ahead." he left the dining block.
All eyes fell on me.
"How about no." I absconded out of there.
