The days were getting boring for Tenma since Alone was getting busy again and he had nothing to do, the blue dog would show up sometimes to play with him but then it disappears without the brunette knowing. Tenma walked out of the room then he saw Kagaho walk by.
"Kagaho." He called out.
Kagaho stopped and turned to look at the Brunette.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Since there is nothing to do, can't you get me something to do."
Suddenly a newspaper appeared in front of Kagaho and then he gave the newspaper to Tenma.
"I didn't mean some crappy paper." Tenma thought giving a small fake smile at Kagaho.
"If there is nothing else, i will leave." He said looking at Tenma. Tenma nodded his head and Kagaho walked away.
Tenma went back to his room and laid on the bed as he looked at the newspaper.
"What can i do with this?"
The brunette looked through the paper, the newspaper must of been from town but still it looked old. While he was flipping through pages Tenma's red eyes caught something interesting.
"I want to see this." Tenma said.
Kata had returned from town and was sitting down. He been watching Tenma for sometime and he also had some other business to attend to, it was tiring since its easier to watch Tenma then do anything else.
"Kata." A voice called out. Kata didn't bother to look who was calling his name. The footsteps of the person who was calling came closer to Kata again.
"Kata." He called once again. Kata lifted his hand up so the person could see that he was here.
"If your here then answer." He said as he walked closer and he could finally see the bluenette.
"Taiya."Kata said.
"Hows the investigate going."
"Nothing besides that father of Tenma has appeared." Kata was suppose to report this information to the leader but he was too tired to.
"Can deliver that to him." Kata said as he closed his eyes.
"Tch."
"Don't give me that tch...i'm doing this job cause some lazy bastard ran out on me."
"Fine!" Taiyo said as he left the room. The boss won't be happy about this news.
Taiyo walked all the way to the main room where he saw a man with black short hair with four strains of hair on each side white and on the bottom of hair on the front was four strains of hair that was red. He had golden cat eyes and on his left cheek was an butterfly tattoo. His dark black wings were shown.
"Kata told me to report that Mephistopheles is back and also he has already show himself in front of Tenma."
The leader stood up but not before crashing his fist onto a table and breaking it into pieces.
"That piece of shit dare show himself."
Taiyo knew this was going to happen, that is way he didn't want to tell his leader but no Kata had to be tired of all the times.
"Tell everybody to gather and wake up Kata."
Taiyo understood and did as the boss had said.
Tenma had manage to go into town when he asked Alone but for some reason he felt strange since Alone let him go alone.
"Its strange." He thought while walking in town.
"Are sure to let him go alone?" Kagaho asked.
"Don't worry i put a spell on him so i will know when he will be in danger."
Tenma was looking all around town for the market that sold that red crystal. He wouldn't care for such thing until he read the newspaper. He remember reading it and mention that the crystal had magical powers that can make him strong. If he had such power he thought he could protect himself instead of Alone to protect him all the time. When Tenma finally saw the crystal he couldn't believe his eyes.
"Are you interest in such thing." The merchant asked. Tenma just nodded his head. The merchant told Tenma how he found it on the pond but it had no magical power since he was just trying for people to come. Tenma felt he was fooled but the merchant was honest about it. Tenma didn't know why but he wanted to touch the crystal.
"May i hold it."Tenma asked nicely. The merchant allowed it so Tenma touched the red crystal like it was some egg about to hatch, that's when Tenma felt a strange feeling. The merchant took another look at Tenma and realize he had vanished.
"Huh, Where did he go?" The red crystal was placed back.
A short boy with brunette hair and red eyes like a rabbits was looking up, he looked at himself.
"Where am i?" He thought. He looked around to where he was.
"Where's Alone?" The boy started running around the town.
Three boys were walking in town, one had an annoying look on his face.
"Why did we have to be in our human forms!?" Taiyo yelled.
"Get over it." Kata replied back.
Their leader had order them to investigate in town, not to mention pick up few things why your at it.
While they were walking a short boy with brunette hair bumped onto Taiyo, the brunette looked up at the person he bump into then to the other two. The three stared back at the boy.
"He looks familiar." They thought all at once.
"That's dangerous, you have to watch where your going." Kata said and bent down to the boy. He then stared at the clothes the boy was wearing, it was big on him.
"Why do you three of black wings?" The brunette asked staring at them with his curios red eyes.
The three couldn't believe what the boy had just said.
Kata looked himself and the other two, they were not in their demon forms so he didn't understand why the boy had just said that.
"Tenma!" The brunette smiled at the three and ran off to where the boy heard the voice. Kata was going to grab the boy but he couldn't since there were alot of people in the crowd.
When Alone saw Tenma, he had a very confused look in his eyes. He hit his forehead with his fist gently then look at Tenma again.
"Why didn he turn into a kid?"
Alone had no choice for now since he had no time to look into it so he took Tenma home as he was now.
"Where did you go today?" Alone asked the small child who he was carrying in his arm.
"Market." Tenma replied.
"Which market?" Alone asked.
"I don't know."
"This is more troublesome then I thought." Alone said staring at the small child.
"Alone, I'm hungry."
Alone stared at Tenma and realize since he is in his child form, his mind is also like a child.
"Okay." Alone said.
After eating Alone decided to take the boy back to his room but when he was about to leave the brunette started crying.
"Don't leave me!"
Alone went back to Tenma and hugged the crying boy.
"I won't leave you." He whispered. I have to find a way to turn you back but besides that who were those people you were talking to since i couldn't tell from the distance.
The three had returned and they were thinking about what had just happened.
"What do you have to report?"
"He turned into a child."
"Taiyo." The leader said as he came in. What do you mean?
"Tenma has turned into a child."
"No wonder he looked so familiar?" Kata said.
"Explain." The leader said.
So Ayato explained what had happened while they were in town.
"This seem to be good." The leader smiled.
The three stared at their leader. They knew he was going to plan something soon.
What will happen next? How long will Tenma be a child?
