Being a Senior, Lucy felt weird as the time went by so fast for her. It could be because she's been dreading the last day of school since that was when her wedding day was supposed to be or maybe it was since she barely did anything. It could be both but she was loving and hating it at the same time.

It was the beginning of February and Valentine's day was just next week. Then it was going to be AP testing and finals, not to mention Prom.

She was looking forward to every one of those events—including testing—and now, she was worried about Spring tryouts, also. Her boyfriend and friend are trying out for the soccer team and she was managing, she doesn't even know if she has the time!

As she stood in front of her marked-up calender, she frowned as she counted the days till graduation.

The day where she was supposed to be all happy and full of joy was the day where her life was supposed to start.

The date, May twenty-seventh was marked with red sharpie as that was the day where her days will come to an end. Knowing that even if she told Natsu or ran away with him, her father will find her almost immediately.

Sighing, Lucy leaned against her hand and elbow as she stared at her calender, wondering what she should do.

Could she possibly just fake a death? Or could she run all the way across the world with Natsu? Where would she get the money? How will she even do something as vile as that? How could she even do anything but rightfully choose her fate?

Sighing again, Lucy frowned and buried her head in her arms as she tried thinking of some way to do something.

She knew she wouldn't be able to wiggle her way out through this.

She was supposed to be future Mrs. Natsu Dragneel, be co-owner of Camp Dragneel with her lovely husband, Natsu. She was supposed to have three kids and have them go to the camp and also inherit the place. She wasn't supposed to be Mrs. Julenelle or Mrs. whatever, she was supposed to be Mrs. Dragneel!

Groaning, Lucy pulled her phone out of her pocket and went to her emails where her father sent her the special information. Pulling up her future husband's picture, she cringed at his features. His large round face and his large nose as well, his round figure and his hairy body... she just wanted to barf! How was she gong to be married to this thing?!

Either way, she knew she had no choice.

"Are you serious?! This thing is going to be your future husband?!"

"Gray, shhh! Not so loud!" Lucy scolded as she slapped his shoulder repeatedly, looking around for her boyfriend to realize he wasn't around.

She sighed and looked back at Gray who was basically gawking at her phone screen as he stared at the imagine, gagging physically as Lucy gave him a look. "I know—bad, isn't it?"

"Bad? Bad? This is way worse than bad!"

"I know! Stop it! I'm going to cry!" Lucy whined as she looked at her ink-haired friend who gave her a sympathetic look, placing his hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry, Lucy. I'm going to get you out of this—I swear," He vowed but Lucy only shook her head. "Gray, I nor you cannot deny my father."

"I don't give a damn who your father is! I will march right into his studies and make him call of this marriage or I swear I'll—!"

"Gray! You don't know what you're saying. You cannot go against my father not because he's my father, because he's one of the richest and powerful man in this country and you don't know what he's capable of." Lucy sighed as she covered her face with her hands. "And I'm sure he can kill you, easily."

"What? Is he a gangster or something?"

"No, but he hires some to protect us." Lucy said making Gray scoff and cross his arms over his chest. "I bet flame-head and I can beat them, easily!"

"Don't push your luck, Gray. Just... let it happen, okay?"

"Why though? Why do something that doesn't make you happy? Why do something that'll just want to make you cry? Why?" Gray pressed as he grabbed the blonde's shoulders, locking eyes with her as Lucy looked away in distraught. The tears glistened in the corners of her eyes as she just shook her head. "It's my fate, Gray. I'm not part of your world—even if I was, I would always have to return to mine."

"No. You're wrong—your world is our world. You weren't born or raised to be this stupid Princess—you were just born in the wrong family, s'all."

"Gray—"

"No, shhh," The ink-haired male quickly interrupted as he covered her mouth with his large palm. "You were born in the wrong family!" He whispered making her laugh silently and push his hand away. "Yeah, I think I was supposed to be your sister or something."

"Oh really? Like twins?" He snickered making her roll her eyes and hit him playfully. "If you were my twin, I would run away!"

"You'll be hot and good-looking if you were twins with me." Gray smirked smugly as Lucy gawked at him in a mocking way. "Are you saying I'm not hot or good-looking now?!"

"Oh no, you're hot, Lucy. And good-looking—"

"Are you hitting on my girl, Gray? What the fuck." A new voice joined in as the two turned to see Natsu standing there in his handsome glory. He held a large cup full of some refreshment as he gave Gray a murderous look, sitting right next to Lucy who only seemed to be interested in his drink.

"You don't go around doing that, bro. She's mine."

"I wasn't hitting on her—"

"You were calling her hot and good-looking!" He called out as Gray was about to explain himself but Natsu stopped him. "Yeah, that's right, you did."

"What's that?" Lucy asked innocently as she tried being as dense as she could be to their conversation. Natsu, who instantly shifted emotions, turned and looked at his girlfriend, smiling. "It's a caramel latte, have some." He said as he pushed the large cup to her direction, the blonde instantly grabbing it to start drinking it.

Natsu only gave her a grin as he sighed and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "So, Luce, anything special lately?"

"Uh..." She glanced at Gray who looked a bit nervous. "No, why?"

"Just wondering. Since all this senior shit is going on—I thought maybe something's going on."

"Nothing, really." Lucy laughed lightly as she held the cup between her hands. "What about you?"

"Well, I was planning something—"

"Dear lord, no." Gray groaned as Natsu shot him a look. "I was planning—maybe all of us should go to the beach on our graduation!" He announced making Lucy stiffen and Gray look at Natsu with his eyebrow raised. Lucy gave Gray a look as he glanced at the blonde back at the pink-haired male. "Wouldn't we all be busy?"

"No, it's graduation. It'll take like a good three to four hours and then we'll head down to the beach right away. Like, you, me, Lucy, Levy, Erza, and everyone else." He said, waving his hand around everywhere as Lucy sank down in her seat. "Uhh... I'm not so sure..."

"Why not, Luce?"

"Well, I, uh, I might have something planned." She lied making Natsu frown and look at her. "You rather spend your day with someone or something else than me?"

"Natsu... Graduation day might be the last time we get to see each other—I would kill to spend every moment with you."

"Wait, what?" The male furrowed his brows in confusion and worry as he glanced on over at Gray to his girlfriend. "Last time? What do you mean by 'last time'?" He quoted making Lucy sigh and furrow her brows. "I mean, like, uh—"She looked on over at Gray for help who nodded. "Like college, idiot."

"I'll try to enroll into a same college as you or we can live together or something—"

"You're willing to do all that for me?"

"Well, anything for you... I'll gladly do, Luce. You mean everything to me." He honestly confessed as he gently grasped her hand in his large warm ones.

Lucy felt her heart skip a beat as she looked at her pink-haired boyfriend, her eyes watering as she started to bawl, soon.

Gray, who understood why she was going on about it, sighed as Natsu started to freak out, looking at Gray for help. "Enjoy her while it lasts, flame-head."

"Why are you guys talking about this like we're never going to see each other?!" Natsu shouted, starting to panic slightly as Gray face-palmed and Lucy cried out even louder.

Soon, the three were practically in tears.

"Natsu, I love you."

"Wha—what the heck, Luce?" Natsu stammered as he blushed uncharacteristically. Lucy, who confessed so suddenly, just leaned against her boyfriend as the two sat in a child development together where it was just the two of them and little children running around. It was the best class she has ever taken and since she was with her boyfriend, it made everything much better.

"I said, I love you. Do you not love me back?"

"No! I do, I just, uh, why so suddenly?" He asked making her sigh and watch the kids run. "I just... I don't know, I just love you."

"Luce, is something wrong?" The male shifted making Lucy's head fall off his shoulder, the male turning to look as Lucy smiled weakly. "Of course not, Natsu—"

"Luce, don't lie to me. What's wrong?" He asked once more as he shifted his body to face her, grabbing her by the shoulders to have her look away. "I said nothing is wrong—why would something be wrong?" She lied making him frown and try to get some eye-contact. "Lucy, you've been acting really weird—I mean, a lot weirder than usual but really, what's wrong?"

"I told you, nothing is wrong. I'm just a bit upset since everyone is parting and graduation is coming closer and closer," She said, trying to push him away but Natsu's grip tightened.

He tapped her chin as he lifted it up, forcing her to look at him as he noticed the tears by her eyes.

"Lucy... tell me, what's wrong?" He said sternly as he clenched his jaw slightly, Lucy noticing how it flexed.

She felt her body tremble as she parted her lips to actually tell him the truth. She swallowed and closed her mouth once more and wrenched herself free from his death grip. "I—I have to use the bathroom." She lied as she stood up making him reach for her but she quickly walked away.

"Lucy!"

"I'll be back! Take care of the kids, okay?"

"Lucy, get back here!" He yelled but was only greeted with the door closing in his face as he sat where he originally was.

Meanwhile, Lucy sat on the opposite side of the door as tears streamed down her face. Unable to control all the feelings that were trapped inside her small body, she cried it all out as she thought about leaving the rosy-haired male.

How was she going to live with this kind of pain?

"I—I'm sorry, Natsu... I'm sorry."

"I don't know, man, Lucy's been acting really weird lately."

"Do you know why?"

"I don't know—I think she's on her period or something," The frustrated male said as he ruffled his hair all over the place before leaning against his chair as Gray stared with his head leaning against his palm. Tapping his pencil against the wooden table, he raised his brow at his friend. "I don't think that's the reason."

"Then what is it? Do you know something I don't?" Natsu asked making Gray take in a deep breath and lean back, readjusting his book in front of him. "I know a lot of things you don't know, flame-head."

"Like what?!"

"You'll find out soon. Anyways—I think you just need to comfort Lucy a bit, y'know? Like, spend time with her, take her out sometimes, and stuff like that."

"I already do that." Natsu said making him shrug. "Then do it more."

"What's up with her?"

"You planning on asking her to Prom?" Gray suddenly asked, shifting the conversation to a different direction as Natsu furrowed his brow over the sudden question. He stared at Gray for a while till he nodded. "Yeah, of course, she's my girl and Prom is a big thing for girls."

"You should ask her like, now. To get her mind off things, y'know?" Gray suggested making Natsu shrug and tap his pencil against his book. "Eh... have you asked Juvia, yet?" Natsu asked making Gray shake his head. "I'm planning something—it's still February. Maybe next month."

"Then why are you making me ask now?!"

"I don't know—Lucy's upset for some reason she maybe you should ask. Take her out on Valentine's day then maybe ask her around Soccer season." He explained making Natsu nod and lean his head down against his arm. "Ehh... I'll think of something."

"I'll ask what she likes but for now, be with her a lot, okay?"

"Whatever you say. I like being around her anyways—you don't need to ask me twice."
