With the sun at it's peak, the hot humid summer air made even the animals too tired to move. It was at least ninety six degrees out and anyone could die from a heatstroke right about now but that didn't matter at all.

"Cannon ball!" A sixteen-year-old male with messy dark hair and dark eyes announced before running and diving into the cool lake where multiple other campers were, the girls squealing as the water splashed them in the face. He soon surfaced and whipped his head to the side to have his wet hair get brushed to the side of his forehead, a wide grin plastered on his face.

His fun was soon killed when a whistle was suddenly blown making his grin drop and his body turn a full ninety degree to look up at the dock to see a blue-haired teenager standing by the edge with a look of fury on her face. She was flushed and sweaty at the same time but it still made her look beautiful.

"Romeo! I told you that you need to get ready for the competition but you instead ignore me and jump in?!"

"Cool it, Wendy, it's fine." The said boy scoffed as he climbed the ladder to come back on the deck, water dripping everywhere. "We can do it now."

"It is not fine! We need the thing set up and if we don't Lu—"

"Wendy! Romeo! I thought I told you two to set up the volleyball competition an hour ago! Why isn't it set up, yet?!" A new voice shouted from behind making the two teens cringe as they slowly turned around to see a blonde approaching them, her eyes glaring as she had a huge scowl on her face. "We need this competition going since it's almost one and we need to serve lunch soon!"

"L—Lucy-Nee, I, uh, we were just—"

"You two were slacking around when I gave you two order. Romeo, Wendy, I thought you two would know better by now." The blonde adult scolded as she planted her hand on her hip as she leaned in, her whistle dangling from her neck as the two teens looked down at the ground in guilt. "You two signed up to be counselors and I expect you two to be responsible and act like your age."

"It's just super hot, Lucy-Nee. I wanted to cool down!"

"No excuses, Romeo. You don't see me jumping in because it's simply hot outside. I know it's hot outside—trust me, everyone does but for the sake of the campers, will you two please go and set the course up now?"

"Yes Ma'am—"

"Whoa there," a new voice said making the three turn and look to see who it was. "no need to be in such a hurry. I already got others setting it up."

"See? Because of you two, others are now doing your course."

"I'm sorry." The two teenagers muttered under their breaths as Lucy continued to scold them until the male came over and wrapped his arm around her bare waist, a wide grin placed on his handsome face. "S'right, Luce. Let them have fun—it's summer, after all."

"They're counselors so they should be listening to their instructors."

"It's fine," The pink-haired male brushed it off, placing his free hand on the crown of their heads to mess up their hair. "just listen next time, alright?"

"You're the best, Natsu-Nii!"

"Thank you, Natsu-Nii..."

"No problem." He grinned as he looked over at Lucy who huffed. "What?"

"Natsu, you can't always be letting these things slide. Then if they'll continue doing it and it's going to cause problems, you hear?" She hissed as the twenty-two years old rolled his eyes, waving his hand in the air in front of him as Wendy and Romeo watched. "Don't you just brush me off like that, mister!"

"Please refrain from screaming yourself, Luce. It's not good for you,"

"Like hell I care! Don't make me yell if you're so worried!"

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Geez, let it go, already. They're kids—let them do what they want." He said, turning away as he stuck his pinky in his ear, annoyance lace in-between his words. "It's not killing anyone."

"Natsu Dragneel—!" The blonde was about to scream as Wendy and Romeo winced, ready to guard themselves from the outburst when suddenly the fight was interrupted with a small toddler running up to the blonde. It immediately made the blonde stop and look down along with the others, a wide smile appearing on her lips. "Mama! Mama!"

"Yes my darling little Nashi? What is it?"

"Uncle Gray!"

"Does he need me?" She cooed making the small two-year-old nod as Natsu came over and kissed the small child on the forehead. "Where is he?"

"There!" She shouted, her small fist pointing at edge of the lake as they noticed somebody waving their arms in the air frantically. Lucy sigh and hand over her daughter over to her husband who gladly took her and started blow raspberries making the small child giggle uncontrollably, the blonde disappearing down the deck.

"Did mama and papa leave you with Uncle Gray by accident?" Natsu cooed making her squeal as he lifted her up high in the air, soon pulling her down to press the toddler against his chest. "Sorry about it, baby girl. Uncle Gay is just gay." He grinned, mentally high-fiving himself for making that comeback. He knew he should have taught his little girl to call Gray gay instead of Gray. It would have been ten times funnier.

"Uh... Natsu-Nii?"

"Hmm?"

"Do we need to do anything?"

"Nah, you guys can go and play in the water if you like. Sorry about Lucy, you know how moody she gets sometimes." He rolled his eyes as he bounced the drooling girl in his arms, grinning at the two teens. Soon, his grin dropped and he leaned in to whisper at his sister and Romeo. "Between you and me, I think she might be pregnant."

"Again?!" Wendy cried out making him snicker and nod, adjusting his baby in his arms. "How do you know?!"

"I just have a feeling. Anyways, she's been yelling a lot."

"You should name him Romeo." Romeo grinned proudly as he stuck his pointer-finger out towards Nashi who grabbed it and squealed happily. "Y'know, it's a cool name."

"Go ask Lucy if she's up for it."

"Never mind," he quickly said as he thought of telling the blonde. She would probably dig him a hole in the sand and bury him alive.

Natsu let out a deep bubbly laugh erupt out of his lips as he put his free hand on top of his wet hair, ruffling it making him cry out. "Is somebody scared of Lucy?"

"You're scared of her, too!"

"It's because she's my wife, damn it!"

"Natsu-Nii!" Wendy cried out making the two males snap their head towards the blue-haired teenager who snatched the child from his arms, scowling at the two. "Please watch your mouth when your own daughter is here." She hissed making his eyes flicker down at his daughter before a sheepish grin mirror his face. "Oh yeah, oops. Uh, you didn't hear anything, you got that?" He pointed at his daughter who only grasped his fingers

"Lucy-Nee is going to kill you if she finds out you cursed in front of Nash."

"Now kids, this is the part where you get my back and I have yours." Natsu said as he held his hand up making the two watch him. "We will not be telling Lucy about this."

"Tell me about?"

"L—L—Lucy!" Natsu sputtered as he jumped away to look at the blonde who stood right behind him, her hands on her hips as she had an eyebrow quirked. "W—when did you get here?!"

"What are you not going to tell me?" She repeated, ignoring his question as the male started to laugh nervously, trying to avoid her burning gaze as Wendy and Romeo looked away as well. "N—nothing sweetheart! My, did I tell you how sexy you look in your bikini yet?! Red suits you so well, hahah!" He practically yelled as sweat started to pour down his forehead, the burning gaze of his wife not disappearing as her eyes narrowed.

When he finally thought she was going to drop it, her brown orbs landed on Romeo and the male stiffened in his spot.

"Romeo."

"Y—yes?!"

"What are you guys keeping from me?"

"N—nothing!"

"Wendy?"

Sighing, Wendy readjusted the baby in her arms and threw an apologetic look at her brother who was pleading her with his face. "Natsu-Nii cursed in front of Nashi."

And just like that, the aura turned dark and Natsu almost drowned in the lake that day.

"Lucy—"

"Don't talk to me."

"But baby, please—"

"Don't." The blonde hissed as the couple was in the main cabin where they were preparing for bed. The campers were all in their cabin and should be asleep but that didn't concern the two as they also had to head to bed for another fun-filled day tomorrow at Camp Dragneel.

Rocking her two year old in her arms to put her to sleep, Natsu watched how his wife and daughter while he sulked.

It wasn't his fault Nashi ended up learning the word fuck, it just slipped out of his and Gray's mouth since they happened to argue about something. They didn't even know Nashi was there but now the child had added a new word added into her vocabulary when it wasn't even big in the first place. In the beginning the two agree not to say a word to Lucy about it but when they were about to consult the child to never say that word again, she was gone.

They searched for her for a good fifteen minutes until they found her with her mouth, the look of pure hatred and anger washed across her face.

And let's just say the two almost drown that day.

"Baby, you know it was an accident. Don't be mad at me."

"Shut up."

"Luce—"

"No, nuh-uh. Don't you dare try and weasel yourself out of this. How dare you teach our two year old the F-word? Her can barely say a sentence and you teach her how to say the F-word?!"

"You know it was by accident! I didn't know she was there!" He tried defending himself as his shout became a whisper, trying his best not to wake his child who was slowly dozing off in her mother's arm. "She'll probably forget about it tomorrow."

"Well then don't talk to me till tomorrow." She hissed out as she looked away, still rocking back and forth as she made sure Nashi was fully asleep before putting her in her crib. Knowing how easily Nashi woke up, she had to be in deep sleep before she can actually put her down which takes a good thirty to forty minutes.

"Lucy—"

"Natsu, you should know better. Cursing in front of our two year old? Really? I didn't marry you and have a kid with you so you can teach her every foul word there is in the world. I knew we should have given her to Levy-Chan and not brought her to camp."

"She would have probably gotten a much bigger vocabulary living under the same roof with Gajeel for three months," he scoffed as he approached his wife who was now putting their baby in her crib. "anyways, I feel much better with her here with us. It'll give her the experience when she gets to join Camp Dragneel." He flashed a grin as Lucy finally tucked her baby in her crib before turning around to huff.

Natsu frowned and wrapped his arms around her as he planted a sweet kiss on her cheek. "C'mon, Luce, I said I'm sorry, what more do I have to do?"

"Kitchen duty with Gray from now on."

"What?!"

"Shhh!" The blonde cried out as she glanced down at Nashi to see if she woken up but the best she did was move. She glared right at her husband who apologized quietly, a desperate frown on his face. "Why kitchen duty with ice-princess? You know that'll be chaos!"

"Because I said so and I hope you two learn to work together. Gray agreed to help with the Camp so you should be glad."

"It's not like we needed his help..." The pink-haired owner muttered under his breath making Lucy slap his chest in anger while he yelped in pain and surprise. "Okay, okay, we'll do it!" He said as Lucy had a content smile on her lips. "You better," she pulled away from his grasp. "sometimes I wonder how it'll be like if I actually got married that day."

"You'll be living a boring housewife life with ugly kids." Natsu answered for her as Lucy rolled her eyes and got ready for bed. "Anyways, you love me."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever floats your boat, sweetheart."

"Give me love, will you?" He asked as he came towards her as she pulled the covers and got under them, sitting on the bed as she sighed. "I do and did. You see that baby in the crib over there? Yeah, that's our love child so I did give you love." She said pointing at Nashi who was fast asleep making him snicker. "I think I deserve a bit more love, don't you think, Luce?"

"Go to sleep, Natsu. You know I wouldn't do anything with you with our child here." The blonde rolled her eyes making Natsu sigh but then gasp as he looked at his wife who was mid-way from lying down. "What?"

"Does that mean I can get laid tonight if Nashi wasn't here?"

"Yeah, most possibly—"

Throwing the covers off his body, the male quickly got up and ran over to where his baby was sound asleep, lifting her up in his arms to gently cradle her. "I'll be back!" He shouted and quickly ran out before Lucy could say anything, the blonde taking in a deep breath to exhale as the anger started to build inside her.

Meanwhile, Natsu quickly made his way to the cabin where his little sister and Romeo was, slamming the door open to have everyone inside stop whatever they were doing to stare.

A scowl came to his face when he noticed how late it was and how nobody was in bed but he brushed it off as Wendy came over to him.

"What's going on, Natsu-Nii?"

"Wendy, can you take care of Nashi for tonight?"

"Sure, but why—?" Wendy asked as she carefully took her niece into her arms, trying not to wake the child up as Natsu quickly said a thank you before running out of the cabin. The young Dragneel stood by the doorway with a snoring baby in her arms, confused on whatever just happened when Romeo suddenly came over, a smirk on his face.

"Natsu-Nii is so getting it tonight!"

And that's when Wendy finally got what he meant, her face bursting into flames.

notes: yeah, it's not as good as i thought it would turn out to be but whatever, i'm sort of satisfied. :D i hope you guys are. don't kill me because of this shitty endng, lolol. i always manage to make a good story but then fuck up the ending so I AM SORRY. (not really)
