HELLO. WHO MISSED ME? Sorry for not updating. I've been under a lot of stress and other things as people close to me have passed, school being a drag, my best friend going into depression, being stalked, getting a leopard gecko, moving, and going to an anime convention. That pretty much summed up my year. ANYWAYS. My computer crashed and took with it FIVE CHAPTERS. Please bear with me... Also, I'm going to pretend like the anime never happened so I can just have fun. Anyone else not happy with Ayano's Happiness Theory? Anyway, ENJOY AND REVIEW! Also, since I wrote their deaths in 'A Story Behind Hidden Eyes', I won't get into detail with it.

"Are you sure you want to adopt these three? They just came recently and aren't very well mannered..." Ayaka just smiled at the foster services woman. After a short discussion with her family, they decided to adopt some children to give Ayano some more friends and siblings who were around her age. After a bit of research, Ayaka had found some interesting things regarding a certain creature she had become very fond of. A little more searching told her that she had found the perfect thing; three children with very different backgrounds, close in age, no home or family, near-death experiences, and best of all, red eyes. No one else wanted to adopt them, but she was fine with that. She wantedd them all for herself.

"Of course," she said. Who wouldn't, knowing what she knew? After filling out the paper work, she went to meet the children. The girl had a blank stare with hardened eyes. One of the boys seemed to be afraid of anyone who came near. The other boy seemed like he didn't care a all what was going on. None of them seemed willing to talk, which made Ayaka a little hurt, but once she saw those beautiful red eyes, she got a new sense of hope.

October 1st

The children have been here for about a week, and they seem to get along well. The trio keep to themselves, but Kousuke seems to slowly be warming to all of us. At first, he was extremely upset about the loss of his dog, but soon grew quiet to the matter. Shuuya on the other hand seems to want nothing to do with me, and I have a feeling it has something with his past family, but he wont open up! Tsubomi is keeping herself distant from everyone and everything, doing nothing but reading stories and magazines. My dear Ayano seems worried about the children as well, as she's trying her hardest to get them to open up.

October 9th

The children have been here for two weeks now, and things are slowly stabilizing. Shuuya blew up today, saying the only one he needed was his own mother. I feel bad for him. He can't seem to understand that his mother is gone... I heard she was stabbed by robbers, and that he managed to come out unharmed. Tsubomi yelled at Ayano yesterday, saying she was a poor exxcuse for a replacement sister. When I talked to Ayano later, she said Tsubomi had told her of what had happened to her family and how they had died. When Ayan tried to comfort her, Tsubomi must have had a sudden guilt trip and took out her frustration on poor Ayano. Kousuke continues to only be around someone for short periods of time.

November 4th

The trio seem to finally be warming up. Yesterrday, they were running around the house and playing games together. The tio seem to be enjoying their new life little by little. When I did a check in with the kids, they finally opened up about their pasts. its a strange thing... They each said they feel a connection to the other two children, but can't explain why. Perhaps it has something to do with their eye abilities? I'll look into it further...

November 18th

Ayano's birthday is coming up soon, and the children are each doing their own thing to make this special for her. She seems really excited about it, too. I should ask when the Tio's birthdays are. I'll feel bad if they already passed while they've been with us! Kousuke has gotten used to calling Kenjirou and I Father and Mother. I feel very happy! Shuuya called Kenjirou Father today and Tsubomi has started to call me Mother. Progress is going well.

Setting the notebook down, Ayaka smiled and leaned back in her chair. Things seemed to be going great with the children. Everyone was getting along, and Ayaka was making plans for them to all go to a festival for New Years. The children were setting up a tent in the livingroom for an indoor camp, and Kenjirou was making hotdogs and a salad for dinner. Life was peaceful, and all Ayaka wanted to do at the moment was think of nothing and be happy with her family.

SO, HOW WAS THAT? I got bored and decided to do this from Ayaka's point of view. Sorry for any spelling or grammar errors, I'm wriing this with my gecko, Hinata, crawling on me. If people review quickly, I'll update with another chapter in less than a week! As for the strike out, since this is a journal entry, I figured Seto would be uneducated and since he slurs, I figured Seto would reply with "sangatsu no nijyuyoka", March 24, as in 'the third month, and the 2nd 10th and 4th day', but he was trying to say "sangatsu no nijyu youka" as in 'the 2nd 10th and 8th day'. Ayaka was confused because the 28th should be "nijyu hachinichi". Just some fun Japanese knowledge for you guys o3o. NO IM NOT A WEEABOO IM IN JAPANESE CLASS AND I HAVE A JAPANESE PENFRIEND OKAY I HAD TO DO NICHYOKU AND HAD TO TELL SAE SAN MY BIRTHDAY 3
