Hey guys sorry this story hasn't been updated in a long time so really sorry guys but I didn't like where the story line was going so I took a break then came back and figured out what I wanted to do.

Chapter 5

I was only at the justice league hideout for a couple hours until a jet came for me. I quickly jumped in back and said goodbye to Jacob. We decided to just stay friends considering a long distance relationship would be hard especially while saving the world on a day to day basis. Anyway that and all the girls kept glaring at me. The jet dropped me off at my condo and I walked in and turned on the security system. Their was a loud knock on the door and my friends burst through the door. Martha was on top of me in a matter of seconds after getting squeezed to death she got of and went back to the group where she interlocked hands with Ryan. They were being very secretive with it but hey I notice things. Next was Jason Chase giving our signature bro hug, after him came Cat giving me a light hug then going back to stand by Jason leaning in a little close. After them was Andrew who stayed where he was but said hi what I wasn't expecting was a bear hug from Nat. Finally Theo and Alex apologized and gave me hugs. Cat pulled something out from behind her back and I started laughing realizing what it was. The movies Captain America, The Hulk, Thor, all the iron mans and The Avengers. I grabbed some popcorn and we sat on the couch watching all the movies, by the time we got to the end of Thor I realized Josh was missing and I asked. Martha said " He went to go spend time with Jessica."

" I forgot my kidnapping kinda kept you guys busy." I replied taking a drink of my sprite.

" Yeah, you should have seen how we dealt with the stress, they were wild nights."

I choked and sprite came out my nose, what the heck was she hinting at I hope it's not what I think it is! However I staid silent and we watched the last movie. Everyone was asleep and I had determined that Ryan and Martha were together along with Cat and Jason, and finally Apex and Nat. I walked out on the balcony and something on my phone buzzed I pulled it open to find a text from Josh saying, Hey can I land on ur balcony. I replied back sure and he was there in an instant. His face plate came off and the he did the last thing a Stark does he apologized for every thing. After he was done I just started at him I know really smooth " Um, okay."

He laughed and replied," Never heard a Stark apologize?"

" Hey it's uncommon for a guy like you to act like a person."

we both laughed and he reached into his pocket to grab his phone and he couldn't find it. His face went pale .

" If I lost this phone my dad is going to kill me!"

" Chill its just a phone you can get a new one."

" You don't understand this phone has all of my project ideas plus the vortex 4 plan. I'm going to fly back and check Jessica's house."

"Vortex 4?" I whispered. No that's impossible there's no way they would keep record of vortex 4. Would they?

Josh didn't hear me because he was already halfway to Jessica's.

Josh POV

Poop! I did not just mention vortex 4 to her. I turned to go hoping she would forget what I said when I glanced back and her face was ashen white. I wonder why certainly she didn't know what vortex 4 was. He was the only one who knew. Vortex 4 was an elite group of teenagers who specialized in black ops terrorist negotiations. There motto get in get out never be seen. They were code named as things that seem natural and there were six of them. Jinx, Rose, Luck, Matt ( which they called map because he was once caught with the tv in his room playing Dora the explore and the map song was playing). Then there were the two co-captains Echo and Sky. The record says that they went into a mission one day and something went haywire. a bomb went off and it killed one person and they were suppose to open the gatesso another personae died and so on the only person who escaped was Echo but she was captured. This isn't recorded but people say that Sky sacrificed his life for Echo to live but no one knows for sure because when echo came back she was broken and S.H.I.E.L.D erased her memory and let her go. There's no way she could have known anyone from vortex 4. He dismissed the thought.
