um, the reason i didn't include a chapter from the wolf book at the beginning was because Lucy didn't read it. She was in a carriage with no luggage since it had all been taken away before. As explained in earlier chapters.

Chapter 5-The Guide to Wolves

Fighting Style

Wolves have a very distinct fighting style. It's animalistic, violent and relys solely on raw power. Very few wolves are able to learn techniquhes since it demands restraint and refined techniques which are the opposite of the instinct and fighting style of a wolf. When fighting, wolves have little or no concern for their physical wellbeing and can become dangerous to people around them but this is not always the case as some wolves have displayed a sense of awarness of the surrounding area and people and adapt their attacks to cut the harm accidentally done to the surrounding area and people. Although a few have shown this type of awareness, they have still shown no care for their body and thus have very few or no defensive techniques. Those who suffer the wolf virus have no issue with learning new techniques. Mainly because they retain the mind of a normal mage and do not develop the instinctive fighting style that all wolves are born with.

Lucy POV:

So sleepy...i let out a loud yawn, rupturing the silence that had gripped our carriage since Mira-jane's attempts at prolonging a conservation with me and Gray were brutally shot down. I turned my head to look at Jellal who, since waking up had gone into a stubborn silence after maintaining a brief conversation with me. Since it was glaringly obvious that he wouldn't hold a conservation with me i turned my head 180 degrees to look at Grey who was now sitting next to me after swapping with Gildarts 2 hours ago. From my side on view of him, i could easily see that sleep was sitting on his eye lids. Weighing them down. I knew how he felt.

"Grey?" At my voice, Grey's head jerked a bit but he still remained silent. Since Grey would also fail to keep me awake with a conversation i finally turned to the other three people in the carriage. I wasn't going to engage myself in a conversation with Mira-Jane since she would start to ask probing questions, Gildarts was annoying and would start shouting and making rude comments. All that left me with was the green haired man who had yet to introduce himself. Gildarts had called him Freed but i was unsure if this was his real name or a nick-name. Either way, i was un-willing to take that risk and create a fake sense of friendship. I decided to make a less dangerous risk and simply ask all three of them in the hopes the green haired man would answer.

"um, so what will happen when we arrive at Fairy Tail" i tried to keep my tone of voice happy and interested in the hopes that they would be more willing to disclose more information for me to use.

"We'll arrive at Fairy Tail in an hour and when we arrive you'll be given a tour around the guild then all taken to your separate housing facilities. Most of the girls will go to Fairy Hills and the boys to the Tail Hills. Romeo will be sent to live with his dad but will be allowed to stay at the boys dorms with Jellal or Grey. Unfortunately Fairy Hill only has so many spaces and so we will be giving you the opportunity to choose a home of your choosing in our city, Mangolia." Mira's chirpy voice was replaced by a smile and for some reason, i smiled back.

"Thanks!" I spoke in a happy voice and shot them all a beaming smile. Covering up for my earlier smile which wasn't ment to happen. All three Fairy's seemed rather taken aback by my sudden improvement in mood. I guess i was a bit over the top. hahahah. I re adjusted myself in the seat, bringing my legs up on to the seat. I laid the thick book over my knees and tilted my head so that i was facing the books pages. This was all an impression though since i wasn't reading the book, just staring blankly at the pages while digesting the information. By putting all the team in Fairy Tail dorms this would make sure that i didn't leave or take advantage of my place in the city. I had no doubt that the dorms were full, they would probably prefer to have me in a dorm with Fairys all around to watch my movements but i still didn't quite understand how they were going to keep an eye on us all the time when out on missions or going round Mangolia. Being unable to come up with an answer for this, i decided to ask.

"Umm Mira, Why haven't we been paired up with people from your guild? Because it just makes no sense if you haven't because you would be unable to keep an eye on us. oohhhh shit..." Shit! I just gave them the idea. Dammit.

LUUUUCCCYYYYYYYYY...God, I'm getting the chills. I looked up from my lap, where I had been mentally beating myself up, and saw that Grey and Jellal were staring at me.

"Hehehe, guy's? there is this black thing coming out of you two...it doesn't feel like it's going to give me a flower...hahahaha. Guys? GUYS? GAHHHH I'M SORRY I'M SORRY!" The two launched themselves in my direction with their hands outstretched, aiming for my neck. I lifted myself off the seat and launched myself forward...but they still got me.

Mira POV:

I looked on as Lucy was strangled by both Grey and Jellal, her head being whipped back and forth as they shock her. Her gargled apologizes being drowned out by their cursing.

"Hehehehe...HAHAHAHAHAH Look at that ahahahahaha! They are just so funny!" Gildarts brash voice came screaming into my left ear.

"Gildarts, honey. Shut up" As I said this I turned to face him. Shooting him my sweetest smile. He quickly deflated back into his seat.

"Yes, well. it seems as if they'll fit right in with us lot." Freed's quiet, honey like voice came drifting into my left ear. The contrast between his voice and Gildart's was amazing. While Gildarts often pissed me off by shouting in my ear, Freed's voice always made me feel happy and calm while at the same time, un-comfortably warm. A quick glance at him revealed his smirk to me. He was smirking! Why would he be smirking?

Quickly dismissing my thoughts, I turned my attention to the hunters. Lucy's blue face and her alarming noises of near death quickly made it clear that I needed to intervene before they managed to kill her.

"We have already chosen your partners so Lucy didn't actually give us the idea. Hehehe, i just forgot to mention it, so don't kill Lucy, ne?"

The two still had their hands around Lucys neck but were now staring at me with looks of distrust.

"HMMMMMMMM"

"HMMMMMMMM"

"Hehe, You'll be informed about who your partners are when you arrive."

Grey and Jellal slowly let go of Lucy. "sorry Lucy *cough nervous cough*"

"Yeah sorry *clears throat*" they both shot nervous looks at Lucy and began edging away from her.

"Oh yeah, you'll speak to me now huh! You didn't seem to willing to speak earlier you bastards. hmph"

I looked out of the window, drowning out the voices of the two hunters apologizing to Lucy. It took a while for me to figure out what i was looking at.

"Ahh, we've arrived! Welcome to Fairy Tail!" I got up quickly, opening the door.

"WELCOME TO FAIRY TAIL!"

Lucy POV:

I my poor ears. The loud noise that came from outside and destroyed my ears wasn't really encouraging me to go outside and yet I found myself being pushed through the door by Gildarts. The bright sun blinded me for a moment and for one dreadful second, I thought I would trip over something the same way Evergreen did in chapter 2. Or was it 3? Ah, I don't care, I wasn't going to embarrass myself in front of the whole guild. No matter what. I dug in my feet and leaned back. I came to an unexpected stop just in the doorway of the carriage. With one final shove Gildarts pushed me out into the sun. I lifted my hand over my face to guard against the sun, mentally thanking the fact that I didn't fall when pushed out of the carriage. Next to me, I could hear the rather unlucky thumps of my friends being tossed out of the carriage carelessly. I put my hand down since my eyes had adjusted.

Everyone in the guild had gathered outside of the Guild house and were all lined up in a way that would show all of their faces. It looked like a really cheesy family photo. The large array of faces was slightly scary but when I looked closer I could see the little squabbles going on. One man was shouting 'man!' and was being shushed by two silver haired girls. I noticed that Mira-jane was one of the silver haired girls and next to her was a shorter girl with big blue eyes. Both were quietly telling off the other man who I assumed to be their brother although the likeness between him and the two girls stopped at his hair colour. Further across I could see one small girl with blue hair standing near a very tall man with multiple piercings and if I had seen him anywhere else then he would of seemed like a gangster boss. As fate would have it, he didn't give out this impression. I wasn't sure if it was because he was from Fairy Tail or because he was holding a large smile that would scare little kids but to me he looked hilarious. Now that I thought about it, all of them were looking at us with huge smiles which looked forced on some and natural on others. I couldn't help it. I really couldn't. I just burst out laughing!

"Oh my god!hahahaha it looks like-like hahahaghaha they're taking a hahahaha photo hahahahaha. they're still holding the smiles ahahahaha I think i'm gonna pee myself. oh my god! this is priceless. hahahahaha!"

I was still laughing although I was on the floor. Becoming absolutely useless from my laughing fit. Every time I tried to stop I just started laughing again when I looked at them since almost all of them were now holding their smiles while looking extremely agitated.

"Hello. You must be Lucy. Nice to meet you. I'm the guild master, Makarov Dreyar. But you can call me Gramps." The man was incredibly short but was one of the few who seemed to have a genuine smile on his face.

"Hey Luigi" a pink haired man came up behind the short man. "I'm Natsu. I'll be your partner while you are unwillingly staying in Fairy Tail." Natsu was a lot taller than me, a head or so taller.

"It's Lucy...eh, whats up with your hair! it's pink, such a gay colour!(I love gay people by the way. No offence.)"

Natsu gave me an ugly look and grabbed by shirt. "uhh, what you say...L-U-I-G-I! IV'E WANTED TO FIGHT WITH YOU FOR QUITE A WHILE NOW!" Natsu set his hand on fire when he said this. The heat was unbearably hot.

" Shit! Get off me! my shirt! MY SHIRT!" I leapt away from him batting my shirt to set out the fire that had taken hold of my shirt. A cold breeze on my stomach made me let out a little 'eep' I covered my bra which was all that was left. I looked up from my top. Natsu's blushing face was one of many in the Guild.

"AHHHHHHAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
