Boo! I AM BACK!

Ha, ha, let's do this!

Lissanna: Food, please give me food. I haven't eaten in 6 months and I have only had all your past chapters to read!

Bea: Ha haha, since i've been gone for so long I'll give you lots of nice food! *throws in lobsters and shrimp*

Lissanna: But i'm allergic to shellfish, I'll die if I eat this and I'll starve if I don't!

Bea: Meh, i need to find all the other couples and re-start my collection again, i don't have time for you. I need to catch Levy and Lucy and make them kiss in jail clothes for the entertainment of mistyfirestarter.

Disclaimer: So glad that i get to say this again, I DON'T OWN FAIRY TAIL OR ANY OF THE CHARACTERS (except the ones i create)

Now, without further delay, i present to you the long-awaited, extra long, 9th chapter of The Guide to Wolves.

My pink room was perfect, except for the five people making themselves at home in it.

On the chair was a naked Grey, behind him stood Erza. Levy sat at the desk while Gajeel lay down on the floor and Mira stood in the middle of the room, her expectant gaze pinning me down in the doorway. She was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, her long white tail waving behind her in contained excitement.

Natsu pushed past me and entered the flat, greeting everyone as he went in.
"Hey, I thought you weren't going to make it in time? You guys were the ones saying that you wanted to greet her in her new home but you left after us!"

"You were just so slow, even a snail could run faster. There was no rush to get here or leave early since you would take ages anyway." Grey, seeing a chance to tease Natsu, gleefully insulted the temperamental dragon slayer.

"Piss off Ice Prick, why are you naked anyway? Don't strip in other people's homes you fucking stalker-pervert!"

"Ah, wait. I was already naked when i got here."

Home huh, haven't had that for a while.

I stood there for a moment, reminiscing about the last home I had, this however lead to a rather unpleasant memory surfacing and once again i was reminded of my hate towards wolves and those who thought of them as "good" and "kind". This thought was interrupted by the whining of the Dragon Slayers and Ice mage. Gajeel had now entered the argument on the basis that his magic was better than both of theirs.

"Luuuucy, don't you think Fire Dragon magic is cooler than Iron dragon and Ice magic! C'mon, you're my partner!"

"Oi, Lucy! Ice magic is obviously better than Fire and Iron, you can't side with him! He's a wolf!"

"Bunny, Levy likes my magic so you will agree with your friend right, Iron is the coolest!"

The three boys crowded around me, all attempting to get my "vote". In an attempt to distance myself from them i took a step back into the hallway. Realising that i was struggling with the boys, Mira stepped in, smiling at them in a way that promised certain death.

"Now boys, Lucy has yet to step into HER apartment. Maybe you would like to give her some space and stop ruining the 'welcome' greeting i had prepared, ne? Otherwise, Erza won't get to eat her cake and you guys will..." Mira's thinly veiled threat seemed to work miracles, all three of them quickly returning to their seats (or finding a new seat in the case of Natsu) and staying silent.

I don't quite understand what it is about Erza that makes everyone so afraid of her, i mean, after Grey came back from his first mission with her he went really pale when Erza asked him to do stuff and he never disagrees with her or goes against her commands. Even the usually boisterous Natsu shuts up when Erza tells him to. I just don't get it...

"Lucy, why don't you come in and let us girls give you the grand tour." Mira shot me a wide, friendly smile while Levy and Erza began to make their way towards me. I stepped into my apartment and walked past Mira to meet Levy halfway. As i passed Mira i gave her a sharp bump with my shoulder and whispered to her.

"Don't smile too much, everyone else might be able to tell that you're faking, and i don't need you or your kind to show me around." I shot Levy a smile and clasped her hands in mine, excitedly asking her to show me round while ignoring the wolves in the flat. This place was just a flat, and Fairy Tail is just a guild. There's no way that I'm gonna start calling this place home or Fairy Tail my family. They have to be joking.

When everyone had left i let the smile slip off my face. A darker, more sinister expression replacing it. Quickly as i could i opened all the windows, almost choking on the pungent smell of wolf and then I jumped in the shower, frantically scrubbing myself where the wolves had touched me.

"The air stinks of them, the smell is clinging to me again." I scrubbed harder, my skin becoming red and raw as i mentally shouted at myself for becoming used to the wolves, of beginning to accept them.

Never, i will never accept those vile creatures. I need to kill them all, rid the world of them.

After my shower i entered my room, the smell of wolves now gone from my flat thanks to me having the windows open. Having mentally decided to bring about the end of Fairy Tail and the Wolves i felt a lot more relaxed and the guilt in my mind had lifted. I had now remembered my purpose, my past life that had provided me with first hand evidence of the evil within those creatures. I sat down at my desk. Levy, bless her soul, had packed away all my stories and stationary in the desk and had also bought me new books and placed them on the shelves with my older books which she had unpacked. Smiling silently to myself i sat down at my desk, pulling out a stack of papers that were all various chapters of a book i was writing. With some new paper and a fresh pen i began on another chapter, planning to give it to Levy as payment and thanks for her un-packing all my stuff. She knew better than anyone my aversion to wolves and how i dislike them touching me and my stuff. After a quick luck and a couple more pages added to my new chapter i decided that it was time to sleep. Wrapping myself up in my pink duvet and drifting off to sleep, forgetting about the open windows and the candle lamp on my desk that i had not extinguished.

Passing below the window was Natsu and Happy who were just returning from a food vendor in the middle of town where they had their dinner. The light given off by the candle in Lucy's flat drew Happy's attention away from Natsu, prompting him to tell the Wolf his opinion of the blond.

"Natsu, i don't like Lucy. She was mean to Mira and is really cruel to everyone else in the guild, AND she refuses to talk to me." Natsu stopped below the open window, looking up and studying the pink curtains which were fluttering in the night - time breeze. Everyone had seen what Lucy did to Mira, but only Mira, Gajeel and himself had heard what she said. The improved dragon slayer hearing had allowed me and Gajeel to hear what was said but Grey and Levy had managed to guess what had happened. After that the tension in the flat had been high but Lucy had ignored it, having Levy give her the tour while ignoring Mira and Erza's attempts to show her round. They all stayed in the flat for a long time and left only when it was dark outside. Erza and Gajeel had stayed only because their partners, Grey and Levy, were there. Mira had stayed because she was too damn nice and he had stayed to study the blond. Her obvious hate for wolves had intrigued him. She was so different from the other hunters. Evergreen, Romeo, Jellal, Levy and Grey were all beginning to see the truth about wolves and had all managed to let go of their anger. Sure, they still had bad habits and views of wolves but they were willing to look past them and all of them seemed eager to forget their hate towards wolves.

"No, don't don't t-t-touch me ..." From Lucy's open window her voice could be heard, slurred with sleep and filled with fear. Natsu leapt off the ground with the ability and grace far beyond human ability, landing outside the windowsill. His pink tail appeared along with his ears which he used to listen for Lucy's sleep talk, his tail waving about to keep his balance on the tiny windowsill.

"Natsuuu!" Happy flew up beside him, landing on Natsu's head only to be shaken off since he flattened down the pink ears which were straining to pick up any noises from Lucy." Let's go home. I don't think Lucy likes us being in her flat, we'll get in trouble with her. I wanna go home." Happy's whispered remarks were ignored by Natsu as he climbed further into the flat, making sure that he didn't wake up Lucy. After it became obvious that Natsu was far too interested with Lucy to even think about going home, Happy went home alone. Promising to himself that he would get back at Natsu for leaving him to go home alone.

Halfway into the apartment, Natsu's position allowed him to easily see the sleeping Lucy's face. Unlike his friends at the guild, Lucy's sleeping face was contorted with emotional pain, most likely from a nightmare. After a while of watching the sleeping Lucy, Natsu began to take an interest in the surrounding room, taking great interest in an old book lying on the floor near Lucy's bed.

That book...it smells of magic and wolves..?

The front of the book read 'The Guide to Wolves'. Before Natsu could grab the book his attention was diverted back to Lucy who had began to whimper in her sleep again. The whimpers grew in intensity and, trying to calm the sleeping Lucy, Natsu placed his hand against her forehead, letting his natural-ish body heat calm her. Soon the whimpering had stopped and the pain on Lucy's face had been replaced by tranquil peace. He climbed over Lucy and her bed, entering the apartment where he promptly sat on the floor next to Lucy and resumed stroking her forehead, chasing away any bad dreams that came to her. Natsu stayed in Lucy's room the rest of the night, awed by the beauty and gentleness in her face that was so different from her usual stony expression.

Hey...so, yeah. It's been quite a while. I've only just finished my GCSE's and my mum decided it was time to move house so i didn't have as much free time as i thought i had.

Anyway, Please leave a review! because the more reviews i get, the more inclined i'll be to feed Lissanna properly.

Lissanna: Do i have to wear the jail suit, i look like a zebra!

Me: *whispers*Got the face of one too...

Lissanna: What?!

Me: Nothing! So review, review, review!
