"I know that it's just you're lucky it was just me that found you to like this " Naruto flushed crimson finally understanding what they meant and jumped of off Neji and helped him up.
"Sasuke and Itachi are freaking out looking for you Naruto you've been missing from their radar for like 40 minutes and honestly it's starting to scare people."
Naruto sighed heavily when the two brothers were together they had this weird since protection over him. Actually they were like that when he was alone with them too it just wasn't as pronounced as when they were together.
The last time he "disappeared" he was with the brothers walking home (the Uchiha Complex the two had convinced Naruto to spend the night there every other weekend So it was like a Second home) Naruto hadn't really disappeared he merely walked into a shop he thought was interesting while Itachi and Sasuke were talking about ninja tactics. The two went crazy running around looking for him somehow missing the shop Naruto had walk into and they had just passed. Now normally Itachi and Sasuke would just follow Naruto's chakra signature to where the blonde ran off, but they couldn't when he was at home. Why because when Naruto was safe and relaxed at home the Idiot didn't have his chakra in use as in it was naturally suppressed (now why couldn't the idiot do that on missions), the blonds chakra couldn't be sensed unless his anger flared or they were training. Naruto had walked out to see the brothers trying to force Kiba to sniff out his sent to find him. Naruto was so infuriated he had actually slapped them both apologized to Kiba about their behavior, and went to his (kiba's) house instead, leaving the two to go home alone, only to have a normally quiet and submissive Mikoto scold them for not bringing Naruto home, and when their Father got home he was sorely disappointed, and had forced both of them to sleep outside with no supplies or tools it rained the whole night that night.
"I better go out and stop them."
"NO wait Naruto I have a better idea "Naruto and Neji Paused. Did the LAZY genius just say that he wanted to do something other than the easy way?
"What, look it's just Sasuke said something to me the other day and I want to get him back for it"
"What did he say to you Shika? I'll make sure that Teme apologizes to you."
"No, Naruto I don't want an apology I understand why he said what he did and I'm pretty sure that even if it was you he wouldn't apologize besides My Idea is worth more than an apology,
What do you guys say to a little prank" The boy smirked.
"Really Shika I didn't think you had it in you." Naruto clapped Shika on the shoulder. "This prank better be good "
"I not a genius for nothing Naruto." Neji smirked there was very little he knew about anyone other than his family, teammates and Naruto, but he knew that Shikamaru had never declared himself a genius until now, in fact he was sure he would probably never do it again. Neji always did want to pull a prank deep down he admired the blonde had never gotten caught especially when the boys' pranks were so unsophisticated.
"Alright So called Genius what did you have in mind." Neji asked smirk still in place. Shikamaru grinned and three set about putting the prank into place. Neji had told the Cafe manager and had signed a simple hand written contract that he'd pay any damages to the store should anything happen to it, and all three agreed again with a handwritten signed contract that the three of them would clean up and re-build any mess to the store. Fifteen minute later the boy found themselves in the middle table of the Cafe with Neji and Shikamaru on either side of the blonde sitting a little closer than friends would normally be, Shika and Neji had both placed a hand on one of Naruto's knees. The table was in a place where the moment Itachi and Sasuke entered and turned they would spot the three Naruto was in the middle the chair that was meant to be opposite of Naruto was placed somewhere else, insuring that the Uchiha brothers would take immediate notice of the hands. Neji and Shika would try and convince the Blonde to come with them, while precariously wondering their hand father up his legs. Naruto had one job to blush profusely and act cute oh and he had to ignore The Uchiha's as much as possible. (He didn't like but would go through with it he couldn't hinder a prank after all, even if he didn't understand it and it was for his Friend) Shika would trap Sasuke in his Shadow possession, however Itachi would be free problem but the prodigy and the genius agreed that Itachi wouldn't do anything too rash at first anyway. Now Naruto was unsure on whether this plan would work or was even a prank but he trusted his friends.
"now Naruto raise your chakra think about today, then think specifically about what you bought here this morning, then just follow along on what's going on" Neji informed. in a little over a minute the brothers had entered the Coffee shop. To see both Neji and Shikamaru smirking daringly at their blonde (Itachi and Sasuke had decided begrudgingly to share the boy until he chose one over the other). The two of them knew better damn it, both brothers narrowed their eyes dangerously and glared. Shika had swiftly caught Sasuke in the possession jutsu, like planed it was funny watching Sasuke Mimic the geniuses sitting position.
"Nara release my brother." Itachi stood still but raised his killing intent. The jinchuuriki would not take well to him injuring his friends so this better be over soon.
"Sorry I just want to make sure that Naruto isn't dragged away before I get to ask him something."
"Then ask and release my brother so that we can take Naruto-kun out of here." Itachi was very demanding and imposing person, but Shika wasn't going to just back down, and purposely slid his hand up Naruto's thigh. Smirking more widely at Itachi before turning back to Naruto, Itachi had stepped forward growling lowly.
"Will you come over to my house today Na-ru-to you always hang with the Uchihas " Shikamaru raised his right hand waving at the two brothers causing Naruto to giggle lightly before Naruto could answer the Hyuuga interrupted.
"Ignore the Nara Naruto you should come by the Hyuuga manner." Sasuke felt like yelling at them, but he knew that his brother would be a hell of a lot better at handling the situation so he reluctantly kept quiet.
"I'll go to both of your homes but I already promised to go the Uchihas manor today"
"Naruto-kun you remember the talk we had about being weary of such offers"
"That's for people I don't know but I know Shika and Neji there not about to harm me, it not good to be paranoid around your friends Itachi besides it's been awhile since I've hung out with either of my friends"
"Dobe they don't want to be friends with you" Itachi shot his brother a quick glare. Unfortunately, it was too late the damage was done.
"What the hell is your guys problem there's nothing wrong with either Shika or Neji they are my friends you guys should find other people other than me to hang out with sometimes" Naruto shouted and crossed his arms. The Uchiha's were at a loss. Damn it why did Sasuke have to open his mouth. "Naruto it's not as easy for us as it is for you."
"Why not you guys have two new people to make friends right here Shika too lazy to be anything but genuine and Neji has the closest personality to you guys. since you all want to hang out with me we can all go out hang together right now" Shikamaru and Neji sighed leave it to blonde to change things damn. Oh well seeing both Sasuke and Itachi get scolded by the blonde was good enough as long as Sasuke didn't come after him again.
So the five of them headed over to the Uchiha Compound, it was an awkward night for everyone except Naruto who did not do awkward. The good news for the Uchiha's was that Shikamaru and Neji headed home after sometime, especially after finding out they had quite a bit in common. Naruto had eventually told Sasuke about his predicament. To say Sasuke was outraged was an understatement. Naruto had a hard time calming His best friend down. Not like Itachi helped he even added fuel to fire because he felt the same as his Ototo, and if Naruto could calm down Sasuke, he'd gladly go with his brother to pay a certain manager a little visit. Of course Naruto managed to put a stop to that by threatening not to talk to either raven outside of missions, and to not come over to their home if that ever happened. Sasuke wanted to scoff at the threat, but if anything the idiot was ridiculously stubborn, Besides Sasuke and Itachi would not be ignored by their love.
