"Ryota was in the hospital because of you! What do you have to say for yourself?" Daiki shouts.

Kuroko closes his ears with his two hands after hearing the loud screaming coming from his eldest brother, Shintaro and Atsushi are hiding behind the wall as they peek secretly to see their brother is scolding Tetsuya. Never once has they seen Daiki is so angry before while Akashi sit at the corner silently as he watch the blond is sleeping on the bed. He decides not to interfere with this family problem.

Even though he care for Kuroko and doesn't like him to be yelled at but it is important not to spoil a child too much. So now he has to keep quiet and try to hold back his attempt to throw his scissors toward Daiki.

"What do you have to say for yourself?" Daiki asks.

Kuroko keep quiet as he look down at his foot, at this moment all he wants to do is apologize but no words come out from his mouth.

"Big brother please forgives him." Shintaro suddenly speak up surprising all of them. "Are you alright nii chan?" He asks almost make Kuroko faint.

Did one of the twins just talk to him?

Is this the end of the world?

"He needs some scolding from time to time Shintaro." Daiki explain. "He needs it anyway since I have a feeling he never has one before."

'He knows?' Kuroko thought.

"Tetsu, I know you have lived alone for most of your life so since you're staying with us from now on I will treat you like a son. So don't you think you can get away with the problem you have caused! GOT IT!" Even though Daiki is using his serious tone Kuroko feel a bit happy hearing it.

They care for him.

Never once in his life he got scold for something bad or being compliment for doing something good. Maybe staying with them wasn't so bad.

"Tetsuya." Akashi said as he sees the tears falling down from Kuroko eyes, it wasn't the tears like the day before. It is more like the tears of happiness.

They can't help themselves to surround the boy and give him a hug.

"Thank you." Kuroko said as he continues wiping his tears.

At that moment everyone has the same thought running in their mind. 'MARRY ME!'

Haizaki play with the food in front of him finding no appetite to eat it as he continues to glance a few times toward his elder brother. There he sees his brother acting normal and not so suspicious just like the day before when they met in 'coincidence' at the amusement park. Something tells him it was not a coincidence at all.

After the red hair takes Kuroko away him and his brother hasn't spoken ever since, he knows something happen between them when he left.

"Why are you staring at my face Shojo?" Nijimura asks.

Haizaki look away as he put down his chopsticks, ever since that day he feels it hard to look at his brother eyes. He continues to feel like his brother is still hiding something from him but what would it be?

"You have avoided me lately." His brother said in his normal tone but he catches a glimpse of sadness in it.

"You were just imagining things brother."

"I don't think so."

Nijimura glare daggers toward his brother. "Are you worried about Kuroko Tetsuya?" He asks with a sweet and fake concern but Haizaki that already live with him for years already know about his brother intention.

"Brother, why did you hurt him?"

"What do you mean?"

"You always hurt people just like the time you did with Aomine girlfriend; it was you that cause her heart to stop weren't you?"

It was then his brother eyes widen as he get on the table and pull Haizaki toward him.

"You know."

Haizaki nod his head slowly as he pushes his brother back.

"I always know but pretend to be ignorant about it thinking that it is not true but I was wrong about that part."

"You look smarter than you look my dear little brother."

Haizaki narrow his eyes to see their face are getting a bit too close again which is not in his liking. He back away by getting up from his sit not having any more appetite to eat the food in front of him which has been served by his brother a few hours ago. He has a feeling it has been poison or something.

"I will never harm you so you don' have to be careful of what I serve you." Nijimura take a sip of his coffee. "I'm not one of those murderers that put poison in people food."

Even though he says that Haizaki will not take any chance about this, now he just want to see Kuroko and find out what happen the other day. He has to find out what happen to make that boy cry.

"Come back soon Shojo."

It send cold shiver to his body hearing his name being called by his brother, there's some kid of deep feelings when that person says it. It scares him a lot sometimes to be expected, where has his caring brother gone too? Where is the person that he used to know in the past? What change this person to become like his? It feels like he just talks to a stranger just now.

"What happen to make you change brother?" He asks before stepping out from the front door.

He never gets the chance to hear his brother reply.

"It's because of you."

The not so identical twins ran around in the house before they crash at Kuroko making them three falls on the ground and has their new brother as their cushion for the fall. Kuroko stumble backward and gives a small scream when his body makes contact with the cold floor surprising the others inside the room.

"Tetsuya!"

"Tetsu!"

"Tesuyacchi!"

Once again the three people who care about him way too much come to the rescue even though one of them supposes to be resting at this moment.

"Shintaro, Atsushi! No running in the hospital." Akashi said with anger in his tone. "And never bump to my Tetsuya ever again!"

Daiki and Ryota give a look at the red hair.

"Dude, it should be me to scold them not you."

"It can't be help brother-in-law." Akashi pulls Kuroko closer to him and gives him a peck on the cheek. "I love him too much that it pain my heart to see him got hurt by minor accident." He said full of concern making them all just sigh knowing it is just an act to get on their good side.

"Tetsu is not yours." Daiki said out loud.

"He is not yours either." Akashi challenges him.

Kuroko stay silence wondering why they are fighting for him doesn't this scene only happen in manga or anime only.

"No fair I want Tetsuyacchi for myself too!"

"We want Tetsuya niichan too." Atsushi and Shintaro says together as they pull each side of Kuroko sleeve almost making him fall again, Akashi glare at them not liking the rivalry since isn't it obvious that it should be him to have Kuroko.

As they continue to argue the door is open and step inside is two figure.

"Tetsu kun." The pink hair girl says.

Tetsuya turn around with his eyes widen to see his mother and her husband standing there together in front of the door, seeing their face almost make him vomit. Of all things why does he have to see them now, why can't they receive the message that he doesn't want to see either of them at all. They abandon him for god sake. They left him alone for years already so why now did they show up.

Why didn't they show up sooner?

If they did that he might have forgive her for leaving him alone but now it is too late.

"Tetsuya." Akashi holds Kuroko hand tightly preventing him from running away from that room. "Please listen to them." That was not an order coming from Akashi mouth it is more like a request.

"Please listen to us." Kagami said. "It is stupid for me at that time and I'm so sorry."

"Sorry?" Kuroko said with an unbelievable tone. "That's all you have to say?"

Kagami look sadly at his stepson and take a step forward, if it wasn't for Akashi holding Kuroko he wouldn't have got this chance to do something right for once.

"I know it was because of me that your mother left you, I'm sorry."

Kuroko closes his eyes refusing to look at the man face.

"I'm sorry that I give up trying to make you open up to me."

Why does his tear want to come out hearing this man apologize?

"I'm sorry for everything."

'Stop."

"I'm sorry I'm not being a good father to you."

'Please stop.'

Kagami wrap his arms around Kuroko embracing him, he can feel the boy try to push him away but that just make him to hold him tighter. Even though he and Kuroko are not blood related but that doesn't change that this boy on front of him is his son. His son that carry his wife blood inside of him, he wants to show him that he can become a good father. All he need is another chance and opportunity.

That's all he need.

"Will you ever forgive me?"

Kuroko once again break down and cry, his face is wet with his tears as he continues hitting the man from the back. Kagami ignore the pain that his stepson is giving him, he has to admit that Kuroko is tougher than he looks.

"I HATE YOU!" Kuroko shouts. "YOU TAKE EVERYTHING AWAY FROM ME."

"I know." The man whispers in his ear.

"I hate you so much; you cause my mom to leave me! It's your entire fault! I wish you were dead!"

He pats the boy back to calm him, Momoi is crying silently at the corner being comfort by her student Ryota. Daiki pull his two little brothers close to him as they watch the scene in front of him while Akashi that had let Kuroko hand go also watch in silent. Emotionless expression keep up on his face but deep inside Akashi hope that Kuroko problem will be solved so he doesn't have to suffer anymore with the pain of the past. All he has to do is forgive them and be free from the past.

He used to feel the same when his mother die leaving him alone, at that time he feel like committing suicide but after remembering there are still people who love him he drop the knife.

"Another chance won't hurt, right Tetsuya?" he asks.

Kuroko sniff and bury his face on the man chest, he will never admit in front of them that he yearn to be embrace by his parents. To feel their warmth surrounding him once more since it makes him feel safe from any danger.

Even though he won't forgive them now but the time will come when he will accept their apology.

"Oh Tetsuya." Momoi says. "I'm so sorry."

At the front door of Kuroko house, his siblings especially Akashi are there with him. Momoi and Kagami has excuse themselves from the hospital to go home but before they leave the couple have promise him that they will come to visit on their free time. Now Kise has officially being declare free from prison (or should I say hospital) they all are ready to go home. Before they step in the house they all asks Kuroko to wait outside first.

At first he is dumbfounded why they want to enter first but when he is the last person to step in the house, they all said two simple words enough to make him smile.

"Welcome back." They all say together.

"I'm back." He replies with a cheerful tone.
