Chapter Two: Introductions to real parents
Hermione was still upstairs crying on her bed, when she heard the door bell ring "ding-dong, ding-dong". Jane Granger immediately jolts from sitting at the kitchen table with her husband, she walks to the front door to open it, while wonder that could it be so early in the morning.
Jane Granger: Hello, what can I do for you today?
Dean Zabini: Hello, Mrs. Granger, my wife and I are here to come and take our daughter home with us today. We are Hermione's biological parents.
Dan Ganger over hears the conversation that was going on at the door, so he gets up from the table and heads to the front door to see who it could be.
Dan Granger: Hello, I'm Dan Granger and this is my wife Jane Ganger, You are?
Allie Zabini: I'm sorry for the miss introductions, my name is Allie Zabini and this is my husband Dean Zabini. We are the Biological parents of Hermione.
Dan Granger: I'll go upstairs and bring Hermione down, so you two can meet her.
Allie Zabini: Thank-you, Mr. Granger. We appreciate what you and Mrs. Granger have done for our princess.
Dan Granger: You're quite welcome.
Jane Granger: Why don't you two come in and we can sit down in the front room to discuss the situation.
Jane Granger walks through the hallway with the Zabini's following behind to the front room, while her husband heads upstairs to retrieve their adopted daughter. He knocks on the door of Hermione's room and waits for her to open it up.
Dan Granger: Hermione dear, your biological parents are down stairs in the front room with your mother and they would like to meet you.
Hermione looks up at her adopted dad and nods her head to him.
Hermione: Yes, I'll come down in a minute or two. Thank-you for letting me know about them being here.
Dan Granger turns around and heads back downstairs to the front room where his wife and the zabini's are sitting having tea and talking amongst themselves about the situation that is going on.
Dan Granger: Hermione will be down in a few minutes.
Dean/ Allie Zabini: Thank –you so very much!
Meanwhile upstairs Hermione is preparing herself for her first time in meeting her actual parents for the first time in 18 years. She heads for the door opening it, so she can walk down the stairs to meet her family for the first time. As she gets close to the front room, her stomach fills with butterflies and makes her nervous. When she reaches the front room she sees a man and a woman sitting across the table from her adopted parents that raised her for all her life.
Hermione: Hello, you must be my biological parents, how am I suppose to know if you what you are saying is true or not?
Allie Zabini: There is a test that can be preformed to tell you the truth about your birth, oh princess, look how much you have grown, to a beautiful young girl. I've missed you so much my little princess.
Dean Zabini: Princess, you look fabulous and so grown-up right before my own two eyes. The whole family had missed you dearly.
Hermione asks Allie to do the test to determine that she in fact is the daughter of Allie and Dean Zabini and it's not a hoax. Allie Performs the test and in a few minutes Hermione gets her answer that she is in fact a Zabini and that she has been living a lie for 17 years, she finds herself to be extremely mad at both her parents and her adopted parents.
Hermione: (yelling) I don't know what to say to this. I still can't believe you would drop your own daughter off at an adoption agency. Why would you leave me in a place without any parents or anyone to care for me?
Dean Zabini: It was the only choice we had baby girl. We didn't want you to get stolen from a powerful wizard. We could not stop him from taking you away from us, so our only choice was to hide you from the magical world and everyone along with that world until you had become of age.
Allie Zabini: (crying) you, princess are the only one who can stop this evil wizard with your special gifts that you have.
Hermione: (crying) But why couldn't you keep me safe, I missed 17 years of my life with my family.
Allie Zabini: I know princess, we are very sorry, we did this to you and we regret doing it every single day of our lives, but we wanted you to live a safe life until it was time to control your powers.
Jane Granger gets up from the couch she's sitting on to go and comfort her adopted daughter, but instead Hermione runs in to her mom's arms and starts sobbing.
Allie Zabini: its okay, princess, everything is going to be okay, you can cry. You have every right to be upset with your father and me, but we are here now to take you home to your family and where you belong.
Dean Zabini: Your twin brother and older sister are excited to have their sister back in their lives
Jane Granger leaves the front room frustrated storming through the hallway to the kitchen, where she lets everything go and starts crying and smashing everything in sight. Dan Granger excuses himself and heads for the kitchen to check up on his wife seeing the mess his wife did. Meanwhile in the front room Hermione runs to her dad where he lifts her up in the air hugging her and spinning her around. She gives him a kiss on the cheek as he gently lets her down from the air. Hermione then goes to her mom and gives her a kiss and hug too.
Hermione: Thank- you for keeping me safe even if I wanted to be with my family and thank you for coming to get me and bringing me back where I belong with my family.
Meanwhile in the kitchen Dan Granger starts cleaning up the mess his wife made while in her state of mind.
Jane Granger: How can she take their side? After all this time they haven't been there for her in 17 years.
Dan Granger: Because my dear, they are her real parents, where we cannot compete with that when we are only her adopted parents.
Jane Granger: Why can't we?
Dan Granger: Because my dear, real parents always come first before adopted parents.
Jane Granger: It's not fair.
Dan Granger: I know it's not fair but it's the way of life, you just have to accept that hunnie.
Jane granger calms down and they head back to the front room where the zabini's are. They enter the room just as Allie Zabini was telling her daughter about the appearance spell that she put on her daughter as a child to protect her from the evil wizard. Her mother tells her that she will looks almost like her mother in appearance looks. Hermione wondered what she would look like and would she have looks like the rest of her family or similar looks as her twin brother.
Allie Zabini tells her daughter that she thinks Hermione should apologize for acting the way she did to her adopted parents after all they did raise her for 17 years. Hermione then apologizes to them for her behavior and thanks them for caring for her when her parents couldn't.
