Also in this chapter I have "Chi-chi bitching / Goku thinking / chi-chi lecturing" so I hope you don't get confused.
Kakarot passed his room, thinking. After running away from Bulma he had taken his father and brother aside to ask their opinion on what to do with his wife. His father had told him that because they were on his home planet and because they were not mated she could not place any claims on him. Neither really understood why he put up with her attitude, and if he was being honest with himself he was beginning to wonder why as well. After explaining to the other men that he still had to return to earth with her and 'put up' with her…at least until he died again. He had to chuckle as he remembered how his father had treated him, it had been kind of nice actually.
Flashback
Bardock had listened patiently while his youngest explained his problem and to his eldest trying to help him. Now though, now he was done. He growled loudly shutting up his two cubs rather quickly. Turning his gaze on his youngest made the man back up a steep while his brother laughed at his discomfort. "Sit!" Bardock commanded. The two brothers quickly did as they were told, rather disconcerted at their father's attitude. Bardock passed in front of his boys for a few minutes trying to calm himself and find the words he needed. "Kakarot it's time to face your heritage. You are the dominate in your family and you have been seriously neglecting you duties as such. I understand that parts of your personality changed because of your head injury, but that is no excuse for this shit!" Kakarot looked like he was going to say something but Raditz elbowed him and shook his head.
"It's time you put your woman in her place. She needs to understand who is in charge. It does neither of you good the way you are now and the boys are probably suffering as well." Kakarot palled, he hadn't thought of it that way before. "I know that you do not want to hurt her physically or otherwise but you need to stop pussy footing around for fuck sakes. I've seen the way you act around the others so I know that you're not stupid. You find a way to deal with that woman of yours before it gets any further out of hand." Bardock paused and stared at his son as if trying to read his mind. "Don't give my any of that shit about her being human, because I don't buy it. Just look at Queen Bulma, she's human but she also knows her place. Make yours do the same." He turned and headed for the door pausing as he opened it, "Oh and Kakarot. You have till tomorrow morning before we leave." He walked through the door pulling it closed behind him only to reopen it enough to stick his head through, "one more thing Kakarot. Don't listen to anything your brother says on this subject."
The brothers waited until they heard the click of the door closing before standing. "What did he mean by that Raditz?" His brother shrugged, "Don't worry about that Kakarot. Worry about how to control your woman." With that his brother left, leaving him to his thoughts.
End Flashback
That was half an hour ago and he still didn't have a fucking clue what he was supposed to do. Unfortunately he didn't get any more time to think as Chi-Chi returned to their rooms. The pair stared at each other, neither one moving. Then Chi-Chi started her ranting/lecturing. "Goku/Gods he was really starting to dislike that name/do you have any idea what these monsters sell in the market place? Sex Toys!" Kakarot chuckled to himself. Oh ya, Raditz said something about that. Could be interesting, he looked at his wife, she'd never go for it though dam. "Right out there in the open…where children can see. Never mind some of the other things I saw there. We can't stay here with these disgusting perverts Goku. We need to take the boys away before it's too late. /Interesting that she only seems to be concerned about the boys and not Kaida/they're already behind on their studies. I don't want them to be corrupted by these dirty monkeys!"
"SHUT the FUCK up!" he had had enough. He could understand her concern about the boys…to a point. But the monkey comment was too much. It reminded him too much of Frieza for him to let it slide. "I've had enough of your constant bitching and complaining. It doesn't matter what we do it's never good enough for you. I've DIED to protect you, twice! And all you ever do is throw it down my throat how I abandoned you. I've had it. We are going out tomorrow with my parents and brother. I expect you to come and be pleasant. After that if you want to return to earth fine. You can do so, but the boys and I will stay here. I intend to see my daughter's mating."
Chi-Chi was shocked. Goku had never spoken to her like this, he had never even raised his voice. Now he was shouting…and swearing. It was all the fault of those dam monkeys. She walked over to where Goku was standing and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Goku, I think we all need to go home. This place is just no good for any of us. /Are you kidding, this place is the best thing to happen to me/ do you hear yourself when you talk? You don't sound like my Goku anymore. /If you hadn't noticed that because I'm not…I'm Kakarot now/ I know that you think this place is good for you and the boys, but it's not. We need to go home where we can be safe and where there is no one to corrupt the boys. There will be no more talk of staying here to watch some disgusting pagan blood rituals. /is that how really she sees the mating ritual?/ We are going home and when we get there the boys will settle down to their studies, no more martial arts and gallivanting around the world searching for those stupid dragon balls. /those stupid dragon balls are the reason she's alive right now/ I will not live like we are in a zoo surrounded by a bunch of stupid monkeys."
Chi-Chi suddenly found herself on the floor, her cheek stinging. Kakarot stood looking down at his wife, growling and breathing heavily, his hand still in the air. "I've had enough of your shit Chi-Chi. You are no longer in charge of this family. I've let you have your way for far too long. I was stupid enough to think that you knew what was best for our children…turns out I was wrong, very wrong. So now that's over. I will decide what is best for the family from now on. You will do as I tell you, is that understood." He waited for Chi-Chi to lower her head in agreement, though he knew that she was just putting on a face until they returned to earth then she would start all over again. She's was in for a big surprise when they got back. He turned to head into the bedroom but stopped as another thought occurred to him. "Oh and Chi-Chi if you ever refer to Saiyans as monkeys again we are done, finished, over. You will be sent back to earth immediately and you will not be allowed in my house or near the boys when we return. I also will not interfere if any of the others hear you speaking that way and decide to harm you."
"Wait! Goku you mean that if Vegeta were to want to kill me you wouldn't stop him?" Kakarot laughed she just had to pick him, that's great! "Actually Chi-Chi not only wouldn't I stop him, I couldn't stop him if I wanted to." Chi-Chi stood and glared at her husband, "what are you talking about Goku? You could stop him without any issues." He had to shake his head, she just doesn't get it does she? Time to set her strait I guess. "Chi-Chi Vegeta is my king. So no I couldn't stop him if he felt like killing you. Hell I would do it myself if he order me to. Now I'm tired and going to bed. Don't forget that we are leaving early tomorrow morning so I expect you to be ready for when we leave." With that Kakarot went into the room and closed the door.
