Ok new chapter! Took me a while, dam heat stroke and hospitals...god I hate hospitals. This was not the chapter I had intended to write, gotta love random plot bunnies lol. Again there is references to male/male relationships and again don't like don't read. Hugs to those wonderful people who keep reading and reviewing my story, hugs especially to ThomasaTa who keeps me motivated to continue writing through writers block and random plot bunnies :)

Bardock chuckled at his son's reaction. "Close your mouth Kakarot." Shutting his mouth Kakarot looked from his father to the two men now standing in front of him. Behind him he could hear Gohan gasping. "Boys this is my father Tarrokot," Bardock pointed to the taller, and much, much larger male, "and my Mitera Kahle. Father, Mitera, this is my son Kakarot, his woman Chi-Chi and his boys. Gohan, Kaida's twin and Goten." The smaller male came forward and offered Kakarot his hand. "We were notified of your birth but we were unable to make it to the capitol before you were sent away. While I do regret never being able to see you as a cub I am extremely happy that you are alive." Kakarot smiled as he took the other male's hand. Kahle wrapped his other arm around Kakarot's shoulder. "Come on, and you boys as well," he looked behind them at Gohan and Goten. "Meet your Koruna." The male led the three earth Saiyan's further into the yard and got them talking with the other males.

It didn't take long before Shoga, Azuki and Ragu pulled Goten away and showed him the different games played by Saiyan children. Gohan had been looking around, not really paying attention to the 'adults' talking, wondering where his twin had gotten off too when she reappeared with a cookie in her mouth. There was something absolutely ridiculous about Kaida standing there bare foot, her hair blowing around her face in the wind and a half eaten cookie sticking out of her mouth that he had to laugh. Shaking her head she bumped into his side and held out her hand which had several more cookies hidden there. Still chuckling Gohan nodded his thanks and took a cookie from her. Taking a bite his eyes widened in surprise, "This is amazing! Even better than mom's." Kaida finished the rest of her cookie nodding in agreement, "ya Tupuna is great at cooking. He's been teaching me lots." Gohan finished his cookie and grabbed another from her, "You think that you'll be able to make these if you come to earth?" she thought for a minute, "I think so, we'll just have to wait and find out hn."

Kakarot had kept his tail wrapped firmly around Chi-Chi's wrist despite her many attempts to get free. Honestly he didn't trust her to keep her mouth shut and to be brutally honest he didn't trust himself if she didn't. Think about that later, for now enjoy having family, he told himself firmly. When he arrived on his home planet he never expected to meet any family besides Raditz and maybe his father. Finding out about uncles, cousins and grandparents was wonderful and he fully intended to enjoy every second of it as this would probably be the only time he had with them until he died.

He turned his attention back to Arttok who was telling some story about Bardock as a child, embarrassing stories, Kakarot thought, if dad's face is anything to judge by. Bardock had begun to blush and looked like he wanted to hit his brother. Which he did a second later. The others moved out of the way laughing as the brothers wrestled screaming insults at each other. Kakarot found himself glancing over at Raditz wishing that he had been able to have fun like that with his brother. Shaking his head at his sentimentality he turned back to watch as his father pinned his uncle to the ground. Kakarot just had to laugh at the image of Bardock sitting firmly on Arttok's chest refusing to move until his brother yielded. Shaking his head at his father and uncle Kakarot went to talk with his grandfather, pulling Chi-Chi behind him.

If it was possible for someone to be the opposite from grandpa Gohan it was his biological grandfather. The man was huge, standing well over six feet and made of solid muscle. The scars across his bare chest proved that he had earned those muscles the hard way. Tarrokot was a hard man who despised weakness and loved the thrill of battle. Yet Kakarot could tell that the man loved his mate deeply, despite or perhaps because the smaller male was weaker than he, and he cared about his family. As he talked with his grandfather Kakarot watched Goten playing with his cousins in the sand, slightly jealous of their happiness with each other. He was fully enjoying the peaceful morning until Daizu and Raditz began arguing.

Daizu was poking Raditz in the chest, "there's no way your weakling little brother beat Frieza! That's fucking impossible." Raditz shoved his cousin "it's the truth. I was still stuck in hell when Recoome and Buter showed up whining about being beaten by some Saiyan." Daizu pointed his finger at Raditz, shaking the digit only a few inches away from his cousin's face. "Recoome and Buter are one thing, but Frieza? How the hell do you go from killing those two idiots to killing Frieza? That's just stupid." Tarrokot nudged his grandson, "get your tail over there boy and defend yourself." Kakarot looked up at the older male, "you believe that I killed Frieza?" Tarrokot shook his head once, "it doesn't matter what I think, but your brother does and you need to stand beside your brother no matter what." He looked down at the younger man, meeting his eyes. "You're brothers and that means you always stand together. Granted you will not always see eye to eye but that's natural. Against others you should always stand strong together. It's an unwritten code, never stand against your brother, especially one of your blood." Tarrokot looked back up at the two fighting and smiled, "now…go kick your cousin's ass." Kakarot glanced over at his eldest two and motioned with his eyes towards Chi-Chi, when he received a nod from them both he released her wrist and walked over to stand next to Raditz, his mind reeling.

I'm such an ass. How can Raditz stand to look at me after what happened on earth? Granted I never knew about this, that's no excuse though. I've always told Gohan and Goten to take care of each other because they are brothers, yet I had little problem killing mine. I never gave him the chance to explain things better, maybe if I did…fuck it. That's the past and now I have the chance to make it better, to stand beside him instead of against him. He stood beside Raditz who seemed genuinely startled by his show of support. Kakarot nodded at his brother before facing his cousin. "So you don't think I beat Frieza?" Daizu stared at his cousin, "no I don't. I mean come on prince…I mean king Vegeta couldn't do it and he's the strongest of us all." Kakarot snorted and started laughing, which caused confusion in his family. "What's so funny?" Daizu demanded, trying to hide his own confusion. "Your comment about Vegeta. I mean sure the guys strong but…I'm stronger. Hell if Gohan had kept up his training he would be as well and while I haven't seen her at full strength I'm sure Kaida is stronger as well." Daizu growled and lunched himself at Kakarot, knocking him to the ground. That's as far as he got as Raditz tackled him from the side knocking him off Kakarot. Raditz and Kakarot teamed up to kick Daizu's ass, and proved a very effective fighting team despite only really having fought against one another.

Gohan and Kaida watched as their father and uncles fought it out, looking more like cubs than the four cubs who had stopped playing to watch the adults. Together the twins shook their heads and with a gentle nudge from Kaida, headed towards the house. As they passed Bardock Gohan caught his grandfather's eye and gestured to his mother. Bardock understood the request from his grandson to keep an eye on the boys' mother while their father was busy fighting and nodded his agreement. "Come on Gohan, let's go help Tupuna with dinner while the 'adults' talk about things." Gohan wrapped his arm around Kaida's shoulders, laughing and together the twins headed into their great-grandparents house.
