See, just as i promised, now i'm not making any promises about my next update. i may have another new story posted soon, still debating on it. Anyways, here's a very short chapter seven, i phoned it in half way through, i apologize, my muse left me. now without further ado, chapter seven, enjoy.
Alfie smiled widely at the feeling of being on a boat. Benny had invited him to join him for a fishing trip. The lake they were on was quiet and calm today. The omega felt strong arms snake around his waist as Benny whispered "You look so beautiful right now." Alfie just smiled. He never felt anything like how he felt in that moment. Benny began to kiss his neck softly, Alfie hummed at the feeling, letting the larger man do as he wished. It felt nice to the hybrid. "Have you ever had a mate?" Alfie asked, Benny stopped what he was doing and sighed. "I'm sorry...I-I...I didn't mean to pry." Benny huffed out a laugh "It's okay mon petite, you do have the right to ask." Alfie smiled at the name. Benny sighed again before saying "There was a woman I thought I loved once, she was very sweet and loving, but she was to marry someone else." The beta's eyes were sad. Alfie turned around and wrapped his arms around the beta's neck. "I'm sorry." The hybrid said resting his head on the beta's chest. Benny looked down at the omega, he smiled and wrapped his arms around him once again.
"We'll isn't this just kick in the teeth?" A woman's voice rang. Benny and Alfie broke apart to see a woman with shocking red hair. "What do you want?" Benny asked pushing the omega behind him. "Well at first, it was just to see how you were doing, but now I kinda just want to watch you two and see where it goes." She said with a wickedly playful smile. "Benny, who is she?" Alfie asked trying to keep his voice from trembling. "You seriously haven't told him yet?" She said. "I wanted to keep him out of this." Benny growled at the red head. "Aww, that's so cute, but I'm not here for your lover, I'm here to ask you some questions." She said playing with a lock of red hair. "Whatever they are they can wait." He growled. The woman smiled "No, they can't. I've been planning a coupe for some time now, but I haven't been exactly able to get the backing I need cause everyone is paranoid of Dick." Benny glared at her "What's that have to do with me?" Alfie gulped down his fear before asking "Benny, what's going on? Who's she?" The woman laughed again. "Aww, how cute are you? Well doll face, your boy toy here is in debt to me, has been for about twelve years now. So, long story short, he's technically my slave." The woman said. "Is that true Benny?" Alfie asked, fear and sadness mingling in his eyes. Benny sighed, "It's okay Benny, tell him everything. I won't touch him, but he's not allowed to tell anyone anything." Her eyes followed the omega closely, like a snake watching a mouse. Benny only growled at her before explaining, "That women I wanted to be with was promised to a shady pirate, I thought if I got him to trust me, I could kill him and elope with my girl. That wasn't the case. When I tried to kill him, he threw me into shark infested water. This woman, Abbadon, saved my life, she forced me to be a servant to her and the demon tribe." Alfie's eyes grew wide and unsure. Benny was part of the demon tribe, he's probably killed many people. "Stay away from me!" Alfie shouted pushing Benny away from himself. "Mon petite, please, don't be afraid of me." The beta said calmly. The hybrid stood stock-still, instinctively weighing his chance of survival out of very limited options. On one hand, Benny hadn't lied to him and would obviously attempt to protect him, on the other, he was part of the demon tribe and the woman known as Abbadon would most likely kill both of them if he tried to run. Alfie walked slowly back to the safety in Benny's arms. Abbadon laughed, "Now, back to the issue at hand, are you will ing to help me?" She asked, eyes twinkling with mischief. Alfie waited for the beta to answer. Benny just nodded. Abbadon smiled and shifted into an insanely large serpent, moving from the ship to the water in one smooth motion.
Alfie swallowed his nerves quietly. Every instinct he had screamed at him to run. But he didn't listen.
Castiel noticed his mentor had tears in his eyes. He believed Alfie was dead, or soon to be so. It didn't take much for Castiel to know the archfox blamed himself for any harm that came to them, especially for Alfie. Kain was carding his fingers Haniel's fur, allowing his mate what comfort he could muster. "I never would have guessed..." Dean growled.
After so long...Benny...of all the people it could've been. How could he not have noticed. He'd been with their pack for three whole years. "Dean?" The alpha was shaken from his thoughts by his mate, eyes slightly fearful. "Alfie, is with Benny right now..." Haniel lifted his head, growling a low deep sound that made even Dean's gut twist in knots. Kain shushed him and said "All we can do now is pray that the boy is okay." Gabriel thoughts were interrupted by a soft knock on the front door. Gabriel left the room to answer the door. A loud groan was heard from the front door, "Umm...guys, you may want to come look at this..." Gabriel shouted from the entrance. Everyone but Kain got up to move.
Dean's eyes glowed gold briefly while his nostrils. The smell of blood was cloying and mixing with the scent of fish and flowers. The scents belonged to Alfie and Benny. Dean would kill the son of a bitch, but looking at Hane's face after shifting, he knew anything he did would pale in comparison to what the omega archfox would do.
