Stan and Wendy, protected by their airbags, were okay, but the Honda was destroyed. They climbed out of the wreckage as Kyle turned around to help them out.
Meanwhile, Trent turned his attention back to Cartman. He knew his Mustang couldn't take many more hits, so he tried to outfox Cartman, cutting in front of him. Cartman rammed the Mustang's rear end, and Trent backed off.
"Damn it, this car is falling apart!" screamed Trent, in frustration.
Stan and Wendy piled into the back seat of Kyle's car, and Kyle had to punch the gas once again to close the two mile gap.
Just as they caught up, Cartman pulled his coup de grace move. He zeroed in on Trent's left rear quarter panel and jerked his wheel to the right, punching the car at 115 mph. Trent instantly lost traction.
His car ran off the road, crossed two lanes of opposing interstate traffic, and rolled over, the crash being far more severe than even Stan's. Parts of the Mustang were thrown off and scattered about the corn field. The engine was hurled 100 feet. Trent's seat belt snapped, and he was thrown out of the disintegrating wreck. The main car body continued and rolled over another road, finally coming to a stop in another, empty field. What was left of the Mustang – a crushed, mangled hulk, unrecognizable as a car – was a quarter mile from where it had left the road.
"Dude, this is pretty f**ked up right here!" exclaimed Stan, as he watched the wreck. Kyle and Cartman pulled off the road and converged on the crash site.
Even after they left the road, it was quite a drive to Trent. Kyle took care to avoid the numerous car parts scattered throughout the field. The ground bore the telltale marks of impact. It was lucky that corn harvesting season had ended.
Trent was laying face up, just ten feet from the roadway. His body bore numerous bruises and his right foot and left wrist had been broken. He was in excruciating pain.
Butters spotted him. "Stop the truck, Eric. There's Trent." Eric asked, "Is he dead?"
Kyle stopped his car just shy of Trent upon seeing Eric's truck. All six got out of their respective cars to check on Trent. Wendy got out a cell phone to call 911.
Then, Trent got up...
