Trent got to his feet, and began to run toward Cartman. Cartman stood his ground, throwing his hands up to cover his face and throwing a punch at Trent. Trent ducked to avoid the punch, then countered with a punch of his own. This punch gave Cartman a concussion, incapacitating him.
Kyle and Stan ran to get behind Trent, hoping to catch him off guard. Stan threw a punch at the back of Trent's head, then ran away as Trent turned around. Wendy, Butters and Kenny then ran toward Trent from the opposite direction. Stan and Kyle doubled back. The five hoped they could "sandwich" Trent and overpower him.
Trent shrugged off the show of force, able to punch and kick all five away. Trent regained the offensive and began to punch at whoever he could hit. The five ran in different directions, desperately trying to dodge Trent's assaults. Trent landed an occasional blow, and the bruises and cuts on the five accumulated as the fight went on.
Just then, 150 feet away from the fight, the Mustang's smoldering engine caught fire.
The fight continued on. Everyone was oblivious to the fire, which caught on dry grass and burned quickly due to a recent drought.
Kenny left the fight, running back toward the Mercedes. Inside, he moved the deflated passenger airbag and got into the glove box. He put on his gear, and gave his monologue.
Cartman noticed Kenny was gone: "Get back here, you asshole!" Kenny ignored the order and put on his Mysterion garb. With the chant "I Am Mysterion!", he assumed his superhero form.
Kyle noticed the fire. "You better get back here before you get burned!" The fire was only 60 feet from Mysterion and expanding toward him. Mysterion saw a piece of a door panel, very close to the fire. With a bravery brought on by his immortality, he ran toward it and grabbed the sizzling hot steel.
Mysterion bolted with the piece, and fire quickly covered where it had just been. He zeroed in on Trent. Distracted by the other five, Trent didn't even see Mysterion. Mysterion swung the piece and hit Trent on the back of the head.
Trent fell to the ground, lifeless.
