I would like to note for the person that commented about the condoms that I was using it as a metaphor, not in the littoral sense. Amy was worried Ricky tried to lighten the mood. I work in the medical field I'm well aware of what happens when you use two condoms. Now I understand how I wrote it was misleading to my intentions on the subject and for that I apologize. I know that how it sounds in my head isn't how it's always going to sound in everyone else's.

I walk I the door of my moms house and see John playing in the living room with Robbie. I sneak past them into the kitchen where my mom was making supper. "Hey mom, thanks for watching John." I tell her.

"No problem Amy, he keeps your brother entertained." She tells me. "I'm telling you Robbie gets into more trouble then you and Ashley combined." She says sounding exasperated.

"More then me, really mom. Or do you not remember me getting pregnant at fifteen." I say.

"You know what I mean, when you guys were his age. Ricky said you had a doctors appointment today, is everything okay?" She asks me. "If you are sick I can keep John for a few nights." She offers.

"It was just a check up with my gynecologist." I told her. "Nothing big, just to make sure my birth control is still working." Obviously, it is not. "Okay, well I would love to chat but I have the final dress fitting. I will see you Saturday." I tell her. "Come on John!" I yell down the hallway. John comes running into the kitchen.

"Ricky said he tried calling his mother but she didn't answer, you know that you don't always have to rely on her to help." My mom says.

"I know mom, it's nothing against you. Margret is closer to the apartment." I tell her. "I will call you later but I really need to leave." I pick up John and swing him on my hip. "Bye Robbie," I say to my brother as I leave with John.

When we arrive at the bridal shop they are already waiting for us. Grace and Adrian are sitting down and Maddison and Lauren are waiting by the door. "Hello, sorry I'm late, my mom was talking." I say apologetically.

"It's fine, we were just worried because we know you had the appointment." Maddison says.

"Everything is fine, it was just a normal check up. It was the only time I could get in." I tell them. "I'm just excited for my final dress fitting." I say to them and smile. "Can you get John in his tux while I change." I ask.

"Of course," Lauren replies. I walk back into the changing room and Adrian comes back to help me. The bridal shop had my dress hanging up waiting. I strip down and put on my slip that goes underneath. The dress has two parts to it. The first is a short cocktail dress for after the wedding and the second is a to the floor skirt that lies over the dress.

"Oh you look beautiful." Adrian says to me. "I wish I could pull off a dress like this. On my wedding I was a fat pregnant mess. And the second time I was wearing jeans." She says.

"Shut up, you rocked that shotgun wedding look." I say to her. "Congratulations on the wedding by the way. Since you didn't bother telling one of your best friends." I laugh. Despite our past Adrian and I have become really good friends. "Can you get the vail?" I ask her.

Adrian grabs the vail and places it on my head. "Ready?" She asks. We walk out of the changing room and they were standing there with John.

"Oh John you look handsome." I say when I see John standing there. "Are you excited for Saturday?" I ask him.

He shakes his head yes. "Mommy, you're pretty." John says. The girls laugh at how adorable he is. Adrian was a but hesitant to join in on fun with John. But after what happened with her first child, I understand. I don't know what I would do if John was still born. Or ever the one I'm carrying.

"Well, it all looks good. I will be there Saturday morning with the dress." The seamstress tells me. The girls try on their bridesmaid dresses for the last time and then we walk out the door.

"Do you guys want to come spend the night Friday. We can have a small bachelorette party." Grace suggest. "I know it's last minute but trust me it will be fun." She says.

"Sounds great Grace. Thank you," I say to her. Everyone else agrees to the meeting. "I will see you guys later. It is time for someone to go to bed." I say picking up John. On he drive home I play his nursery rhyme cd and he falls sound asleep.

I can't believe I'm having another kid. I haven't even finished high school yet. Ricky and I are still kids ourselves and now we have to raise not one but two. I get back to the apartment and carry John up the stairs. "Amy you should have called me to come get him. You should be carrying anything you could miscarry." He says taking sleeping John out of my arms.

"Ricky, I'm pregnant not handicap. I think I can carry my son." I say. "I am so ready for Saturday." I say yawning. "Grace is throwing me a Bachelorette party on Friday. Do you think you can keep John?" I ask him.

I pull out my night gown and slip it on as Ricky walks over to me. "Yes, we can have guys night. Maybe get Jack and a few other guys for a small bachelor party." He says.

Ricky kisses me softly. "I can't believe we have come this far. Did you honestly think that night when we slept together that it would get any farther then a one night stand?" I ask him.

"Honestly, not really. You are hot but I was only after one thing then." We snuggle in our bed as I think about what could have been if I wouldn't have gotten pregnant that night at hand camp.
