John entered the white room and walked up to his sleeping son "Hello Jaune." He said with a smile "It's me."
Jaune's eyes shot wide in terror "Why are you here?"
John smiled once again "To take you home of course."
The blonde teen shook his head "Not after what you did, you murderer…" Jaune's voice almost silent.
"Oh?" His father said in fake surprise "I think you will agree to come home."
"Why would I?" Jaune spat "How did you even know I was here?"
"Your cute little roommate told me you were here." He grinned.
Jaune looked at his dad in confusion "Roommate? What roommate?"
John's grin fell "The cute red head girl, what was her name again? Pyrrha Nikos?" He asked himself "Yes, that was it."
"Pyrrha is my roommate?" Thought Jaune.
"Speaking of her." John started to speak "It would be such a shame if anyone were to hurt her. Wouldn't it?"
"You leave her alone." Jaune growled in anger.
"I would never hurt such a pretty lady." John was offended.
"Then what about mum!?" Jaune shouted and regretted it instantly. A jolt of pain once again shot through his body "You drove her to her death…" He spoke behind gritted teeth.
John took a step back, never once had Jaune stood up against him "You think she killed herself because of me?"
Jaune just stared at his dad, holding his chest in pain.
John shook his head "Your mother died because she caught an illness after you were born."
Jaune's mind went into shock "Wha… What?" He asked "It's my fault?"
"She died because she was too weak against viruses. She got one and died suffering. You refused to believe it and put the blame on me." John explained.
"But…" Jaune began but stopped "Is this true?"
"You are coming home…" John put a hand to his head and laughed "But…" He said "If you can prove to me that you have become a man then you can stay."
"Deal…" Jaune said quietly as his dad left the room.
Pyrrha walked up to the hospital with a smile on her face "I hope he is okay." She thought.
She notice Jaune's dad leaving the hospital and ran over to greet him.
"Hey John." Pyrrha smiled as she walked up to the older man "How is he?"
"Jaune? He is fine, I think you should go and see him for yourself." John smiled.
"I will do." She smiled, walking past the man "See you around." She waved, entering the building.
She walked up a flight of stairs and down a hallway. She knocked on the door and opened it slightly.
"Hello?" She said while silently walking into the room.
Jaune looked up at the visitor and smiled "Hey roomy." He winked.
Pyrrha blushed "I'm sorry…" She apologised "I know I should have asked but this happened and you were unconscious and I had nowhere to stay." She explained.
Jaune laughed and smiled "It's fine." He assured "There is only one bed though, so we will have to share." He gave another playful wink causing the girl to blush even more.
"I don't mind sleeping on the couch if you do not wish to share…" She offered, a little disappointed.
"I could not let a women as pretty as you sleep on the couch." He laughed "I do not mind sharing."
"Okay." Pyrrha smiled at the compliment "I'll explain the rest of the story as to why I now live with you when you get out." She promised.
Jaune frowned "If it is too personal you do not have to tell me…"
"I want to." The girl smiled "I want to open up and tell you all about my life."
Jaune couldn't help but smile "Same here. When I get out I'll tell you everything."
Pyrrha laughed "I would like that." She smiled "Anyway, How are you feeling?"
Jaune shrugged his shoulders "I've been better. I had surgery yesterday but everything is fine now."
"Surgery?" Pyrrha looked concerned.
"They thought I had a punctured lung." Jaune laughed a little "But they were wrong."
"You were in pretty bad shape…" The girl reminded the boy.
"Yeah… Four guys again one isn't exactly a fair fight." Jaune smirked, attempting to lighten up the atmosphere.
Pyrrha practically jumped on to Jaune and started to cry in his shirt.
"What's wrong?" Jaune asked sadly, stroking the girl's long hair.
"I thought you weren't going to make it." She cried "You looked dead, your breathing had almost stopped and you were cut and bruised everywhere."
Jaune didn't know he had made such an impact on the girl "Pyrrha…"
"I was just really worried…" She sniffed.
"I'm fine now though." Jaune continued to stroke Pyrrha's hair.
"Jeez Pyrrha." Appeared Nora's voice "I know you missed him, but you can't act like this in the hospital." She winked at the pair.
"Wha! When did you guys get here?" Pyrrha jumped off of Jaune in embarrassment.
"We just got here." Ren answered "Good to see you're okay, Jaune." Ren smiled.
"Thanks!" Jaune smiled back "The doctor told me that you were the one who found me."
Nora bounced up to Jaune "He did more than that!" She giggled.
"Err…" Jaune responded.
"He beat them up and then saved you!" The orange haired girl beamed with happiness.
Ren looked away "It wasn't just me. Sun helped too."
"Sun? The boy at the gig?" Jaune asked.
Ren nodded "Next time you see him give him a thank you." The boy smirked.
"I will." Jaune promised "Thank you for saving me Ren." Jaune grinned "How about a kiss for my hero?"
Pyrrha, Nora and Jaune burst out in hysterics while Ren just shook his head with a smile.
"I hate to ruin the fun guys, but I am really tired…" Jaune said once the laughter had died down.
"Okay Jaune, we understand." Pyrrah smiled "See you tomorrow?"
"Of course!" Jaune replied loudly while yawning.
The group nodded and left Jaune alone.
"How am I going to prove my dad wrong?" Jaune thought.
Pyrrha stood by the school gate and waited for Nora and Ren. She knew Jaune would not be attending school today so she had to wait till after to see him.
"You here about the new kids?" She overheard some boys as they walked past.
"New students?" Pyrrha was curious to find out who they were, but decided to wait for her friends "The new students will have to wait…"
"Good morning, Pyrrha." Ren greeted "Were you waiting long?"
Pyrrha shook her head "Not really." She smiled "Where is Nora?"
"She wasn't feeling too well…" Ren sighed "She decided to stay at home."
"I guess it is just me and you then. Want to get going?" She asked.
Ren nodded and the two teens started to walk toward the building.
"Did you hear about the new students?" Ren asked.
"I have, a lot of students are going on about them." Pyrrha answered "I wonder what they are like…"
"Well what do we have here?" Russel said while approaching the two, Dove and Sky just behind.
"What do you want?" Ren bluntly asked.
"Payback, you little shit!" Russel shouted, grabbing Ren by his shirt collar.
Ren grabbed the boys arm and twisted it "Back off." He warned, pushing Russel into his back up.
The other two boys caught him and steadied him "Fuck this one on one crap!" Dove cried.
"I agree." Sky added "Let's kick the crap out of this prick."
"Pyrrha, stay back…" Ren ordered and got into a stance.
The three boys moved around Ren and began to trap him in.
"How does it feel to be trapped?" Russel asked.
Ren smirked "Feels good." He answered honestly.
Dove charged at the trapped boy "Cocky shit!"
Ren dodged and tripped the boy up "Gotta try harder than that…"
Russel and Sky both ran towards the raven haired boy.
"Ren, duck!" Commanded a familiar voice. Ren complied with the voice and ducked.
Sun came flying over Ren's head and kicked Sky in the face "Leave him alone." He said threateningly.
"You are that other guy!" Russel panicked, taking a step back "You don't go to this school!"
"We do now!" Yang grinned.
Pyrrha turned to the blonde "Yang? What are you doing here?"
"We are here to get revenge!" She laughed and turned to face Russel "Starting with you!"
That is chapter 10. I was thinking about making the chapters longer, but the problem with that is they will come out later.
