Bobobo: The Rise of the Octavia

Chapter 13: Wrath of the Stars

"Why does this feel so familiar?" Jelly Jiggler asked when the gang reached the top of the stairway. Gasser sweat dropped at the jelly man's question. The reason was that they were facing a doorway eerily similar to the entrance to Sal's chamber. However, there were differences. For one, the door was made of steel instead of wood, with pictures of planets and stars instead of thunderstorms, the ceiling had lamps shaped like planets hanging close to the walls, and the doorknobs were shaped like compasses pointing south.

"I don't see anything familiar about this place," Bobobo said nonchalantly. Don Patch simply shrugged. "It looks exactly like the last door we went to!" Gasser shouted. It fell on deaf ears. Bobobo placed his hand on the doorknob. And a wash pan fell on Jelly Jiggler's head. Bobobo ignored this and opened the door, the gang in awe at the sight beyond.

The room was massive, bigger than the actual fortress somehow, and filled with platforms, large rocks, chunks of ice, pieces of scrap metal and replicas of the planets and sun made of some plastic-like material. All were floating in midair!

"Whoa…" Gasser breathed. But the group wasn't given much time to admire the scenery, for one of the large rocks suddenly flew at their little platform attached to the wall. They instinctively jumped to avoid the rock, and soon found themselves floating aimlessly away from the door.

"What the heck?" Bobobo shouted. Dengakuman flailed his little arms spastically behind his afro headed friend, but to no avail. "This can't be happening," Don Patch exclaimed. "Over there!" Gasser alerted. The others turned to the Mars replica. Standing straight on its side was a man about in his early twenties. He wore a white Inuit parka, a black ski mask, black snow gloves, red tinted ski goggles, black snow pants, and white cleats.

"How's he doing that?" Softon asked. "Doesn't matter," Don Patch said, "he's mine!" Don aggressively swam/floated towards the mystery man, only to have him teleport in a blur of motion. He appeared above Don Patch and pulled his arm back.

"Inferno Fist," he muttered in a voice like a blizzard, his right fist spontaneously catching fire. He punched Donnie with said burning fist. The orange sun thing was launched with so much force; he left a shock wave. Don hit the floor and was electrocuted.

"DON PATCH!" Bobobo yelled. The Bo-tector jumped from Jelly Jiggler and flew straight towards the Eskimo. The enemy didn't move, he floated in the same spot, watching Don continue to get electrocuted below. He didn't even acknowledge Bobobo.

Bobobo made it about three-quarters of the distance towards the Eskimo, then out of nowhere, another figure appeared and kicked Bobobo in the chest from below. He seemed to have hidden inside a hollowed out rock floating closer to the floor.

"Mr. Bobobo!" Gasser exclaimed. The teen fired a gas grenade, but the low gravity of the room caused it to float to a gradual stop in midair. Gasser clenched his fist in anger.

The second figure landed on the Saturn replica and chucked at the gang's misfortune. He was drastically different from his comrade. He was a middle school student clad in a red Hawaiian shirt, blue swim shirts, and black sunglasses. His skin was deeply tanned and his hair was dirty blonde. He wore no shoes but had a Hawaiian band tattoo around his left arm and a seashell anklet on his right ankle.

"Oh~! Dude~!" he half-sang, "You got a major wipe out~!" He waved his arms over his head and continued to chuckle like a monkey. His comrade landed behind him and popped him on the head. "Ow~!" he exclaimed, "What was that for, Taru-bro?"

Taru said nothing, but his seriousness spoke his message. Quit goofing off.

"Fine." Hawaiian boy huffed, "Party pooper." The two disappeared in a blur of movement once again, and the gang braced themselves for the oncoming attack. Jelly Jiggler was the first to be hit. He was rocketed into the Jupiter replica, but then he flew up before he even got halfway to it. He landed face first into the platform the gang entered on.

"How did they do that?" Gasser questioned, "How can they be so fast?" Taru and the Hawaiian boy rushed at Gasser as soon he spoke. The punk clad teen braced him self, but the beat down never came. He opened his eyes to see what had happened.

"You ok Gasser?" Softon asked. The swirly headed man held Taru's fist in his left hand and was blocking the Hawaiian boy's leg with his right arm. "I'll handle these two." He told Gasser, "You help the others regroup."

Gasser nodded and floated to Jelly. When he was out-of-the-way, Softon brought his attention back to the Elite Soldiers. "You boys are quite the troublemakers, you know that?" he smugly asked, "but your advantage over my friends doesn't hinder me in the slightest." Softon pushed the Hawaiian boy back with his arm and before the kid could counter, he threw Taru at his partner by his arm. The two landed on one of the floating platforms hard.

"Ow, my head," the Hawaiian boy groaned, "What's with this guy, Taru?" Taru shook his head and quickly jumped at Softon. The swirly head moved to the left and grabbed Taru's legs after he passed by a little. Taru turned and lit his fist again. "Inferno-" Don Patch interrupted Taru's attack by tackling him. Softon let Taru go before he could be dragged along with the Eskimo. Don Patch's tackle launched Taru into the Earth replica. The impact shook the room and everyone turned their attention to the Earth replica.

"Oh crud," the Hawaiian boy gulped, "chief's gonna be cheesed." Bobobo shakily stood with Gasser and Jelly's help, his chest covered in a thin layer of ice. "Who's the chief?" he asked. His question was answered when he suddenly was pulled towards the Earth replica by an invisible force. The Bo-tector halted in midair before the Earth replica, unable to move his body. From the hole Don and Taru's impact made emerged a boy just a little bit older that Gasser.

Said boy wore a grey sleeveless turtleneck, khaki pants, metal shoulder pads strapped to his body by a leather harness, army boots and gauntlets with clawed fingers. He had his dark brown hair mostly covered by a black bandanna and his emerald eyes burning with complete absolute hatred towards Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo.
