Chapter XXXIX: A Much Needed Rest

Kai woke up in his own room. It looked the same as it was since he left it. The only thing that was different was a base full of flowers set up on his nightstand. Right next to his bed was Elsa, asleep and resting her head on Kai's bed. She grabbed his left hand as she slept. Th bandages on his left hand were gone, exposing his missing finger stub. The clothes he wore were different. He wore a plain white shirt that matched his plain white pants. His blanket covered everything below his waist, and his hands were rested just above them.

Kai used his other hand to slowly remove the blanket off of his legs. He tried carefully not to wake Elsa. She was wearing the exact same dress she wore to the party. Kai assumed that she was here by his side the entire time. He took the blanket off and found that his right thigh was completely wrapped in bandages over his clothes. His left calf was given the exact same treatment. He could see brown marks on the bandages, signifying dried blood. Kai noticed how his torso was covered in bandages as well. He didn't realize how bad he had it.

There was so little he remembered. After he let go of Hans, he blacked out completely. He didn't know how long he was out. A few hours? A day? A week? A month? Time flew by when Kai was unconscious, and he wouldn't be able to detect it no matter what. Many things could've happened while he was gone. Hopefully, nothing too drastic happened though. But, he knew he had some catching up to do.

Kai shook Elsa's hand, hoping to awake her. She was in too deep a sleep to notice. She just nudged her head on Kai's bed and continued to sleep.

"Elsa, wake up." Kai said, shaking Elsa gently on the back. Elsa slowly rose up and blinked her eyes many times, trying to adjust her vision. She turned her head towards Kai, still half awake.

"Kai?" Elsa said, tired. "You're awake."

"That makes two of us." Kai said. "What happened?"

Elsa managed a loud, long yawn and stretched her arms back. She then stopped stretching and put her arms back on the bed.

"When you fell down, well, we thought you were dead." Elsa said. "But, we knew you were fine when we heard you breathing."

"What happened to me?" Kai asked.

"You lost a lot of blood." Elsa answered. "Like a lot of blood. If you lost one more pint, you would've been dead for sure."

"Good to know." Kai said, not happy that he could've died. But, almost dying was pretty much part of his job. This was like the tenth time Kai almost died. He was almost certain that he broke a record for most near death experience. Was it luck? Was it fate? It was probably a bit of both.

"So, how bad is it?" Kai asked.

"It?" Elsa asked, wanting him to elaborate.

"My injuries." Kai said.

"Oh." Elsa said. "Well, you have three new cuts, and the doctor said they'll turn into scars."

"Cade doesn't play nice." Kai explained.

"You're missing your ring finger, which I'm sure you had before you left." Elsa said.

"We were at a bar, and things went bad pretty quickly." Kai explained.

"Finally, you have two broken ribs." Elsa said.

"Like I said, Cade doesn't play nice." Kai said.

"But you beat him?" Elsa asked.

Kai nodded. It didn't feel like a victory at all. Sure, Kai had defeated Cade physically, but not spiritually. Cade died believing that there was no good in people like Kai and Elsa. How can Kai sleep at night knowing those were someone's last thoughts. Kai couldn't convince Cade to believe in the good, therefor he had failed. He was so sure he would be able to do it, but he still failed. In a weird way, Cade had won.

Elsa saw the unhappy look on Kai's face. She knew something was wrong immediately. She knew that there was something he wasn't telling her. She hated it when Kai kept secrets from her. He had done it before, but Elsa eventually found out what it was. If she had done it before, she can do it again. It would be better for her if she just got it out of Kai now.

"Kai, what happened back there?" Elsa asked.

Kai looked away, not knowing if it was the right time for it. But, he knew how persistent Elsa would become. He didn't want to face that side of her. He looked back at Elsa, ready to explain.

"Did Anna or Rapunzel explain our journey?" Kai asked.

Elsa nodded. "They told me about leaving you in my palace. But, I don't know your side of the story just yet."

Kai sighed. "Cade stood at the edge of the balcony, and I stood on the other side. He still believed that he have to spend the rest of his life under those who he hated. He hated people like us. He thought he was a slave to our cruelty."

"That's bizarre." Elsa said.

Kai nodded, continuing his story. "I... I tried to tell him otherwise. I tried to convince him of how good we are. He didn't listen. He jumped..."

"Kai." Elsa said, grabbing his hand, holding it tightly. "None of that is on you. You have nothing to blame yourself for."

"That's where you're wrong." Kai said. "I couldn't tell Cade the truth of how the world really is. I failed him, and in my failure, he died. Just like D-"

"No." Elsa said. "Deren was not your fault. He made his own choices and believed in his own beliefs. Deren has no one to blame but himself. And so does Cade."

Kai didn't believe a word Elsa was saying. He knew she naturally believed in good. She naturally believes that her loved ones are not at fault to anything. Kai grew up with a different perspective on life. He judges things on what is, not what he wants to see. That's how Kai and Elsa are different in a way. Kai can't be as optimistic as her.

"Yeah, you keep telling me and yourself that." Kai said.

Before Elsa could respond to Kai's unbelievable statement, the door to the room opened. Both of them looked over at the door and found Anna, Kristoff, Rapunzel, Eugene, and Olaf walk in. They all wore casual clothes. All five of them grew instant smiles on their faces when they saw Kai awake. Anna and Kristoff ran over to Kai's bed and stood on different sides of it. Both of them attacked Kai with a hug, squeezing Kai's body.

"You're okay!" Anna exclaimed.

"Glad to see you awake." Kristoff said.

Kai's felt a sharp pain in his ribs. Kai winced, and his friends instantly let go of their hug. Both had guilty looks on their faces.

"Sorry." Anna said.

"It's fine." Kai said. "How long was I out?"

"About a day." Elsa answered.

"Great." Kai said.

He looked around at all of his friends. They all stood around his bed. Elsa and Anna were to his left side. Kristoff and Olaf stood on his left. Eugene and Rapunzel stood at the foot of his bed. All of them were there. They all made it through this entire predicament. It was over, and they can finally rest. They deserved a little time off.

"How are you feeling, Kai?" Olaf asked.

"I've never been better." Kai answered.

"Are you being sarcastic?" Olaf asked.

"Glad you're learning." Kai said. Then, there was a short silence followed by Kai smiling. He then broke out in random laughter that started from a chuckle. Elsa couldn't help but grow a large grin as well. She started laughing as soon as Olaf started laughing. Anna managed very long giggles instead of full on laughter, and Kristoff followed his friends' examples as well. Soon, Rapunzel and Eugene, though confused, joined in on the laughter. All of them were confused to why they were laughing. They all looked crazy if someone was looking at them right now.

"Why are we laughing?" Eugene asked in between his laughs. Immediately, everyone stopped laughing and their straight face returned to them. All but Kai were just as confused as Eugene. The group then turned their eyes on Kai to see if he had an answer. All were curious as to why Kai was laughing.

"Because we made it." Kai answered. "It's all over. I never thought this moment would come. I thought that it was funny that after everything we've been through, we still made it."

"That's funny I guess." Eugene said. "In a crazy, unnatural way." Rapunzel then punched Eugene's arm, punishing him for criticizing Kai.

"You're right." Rapunzel said. "It's finally over."

"Everything worked out in the end, huh." Anna said. "We're all together, Hans and Lilith got what they deserved-"

"What happened to them?" Kai asked.

"Well, Lilith was captured and sent to a prison a while back thanks to Elsa." Anna answered.

"That's my girl." Kai said, looking at Elsa. She blushed and moved a piece of her hair away from her face.

"And, Hans will forever be kept in the Southern Isles Castle dungeon." Anna said.

"Where he belongs." Kristoff added. "I don't see him getting out of there anytime soon."

"Good." Kai said. He then looked down at his chest, trying not to look at his friends. When Hans was mentioned, all he could think about was how badly Kai wanted Hans' head. He was so close in achieving that goal as well. If it wasn't for Elsa, Hans would be dead. Kai was actually glad he stayed his blade that day. He couldn't live with himself if he actually brought himself to do it. He's not a murderer.

"You guys were right." Kai said. "I shouldn't have thought about killing Hans. I was stupid."

"No one can blame you." Elsa said. "But, you made the right choice."

"I hope I did..." Kai said.

"I know you did." Anna said. "Also, I have something for you." Anna took out Kai's dagger and handed him the handle, the blade in her hands. Kai used his right hand to reach for it and grab it. It felt heavier than he remembered, but it was just him. He was very weak at the moment.

"Thanks." Kai said.

"Don't mention it." Anna said.

Kai placed it on the side of the bed, not wanting to reach for his nightstand and place it there.

"We need a vacation." Kai said. "We just need some time off where we can forget about our stress for a day or two."

"I can back that." Kristoff said.

"Me too." Elsa said.

"Am I interrupting something?" said a voice behind Rapunzel and Eugene. The group all turned around to find King Lyre standing there with his arms behind his back. His presence was unexpected. Rapunzel and Eugene stood to the side, allowing Kai to have a better view of the King. Kai and Lyre weren't necessarily the best of friends after all that has happened, but they knew that they could consider each other allies.

"Lyre." Kai said.

"Yeager." Lyre said.

"Yeager?" Elsa asked, looking at Kai.

Kai smiled. "I almost forgot the sound of my last name. I told Lyre it long ago, but I had no idea he remembered."

"Wait, so your full name is Kai Yeager?" Anna asked.

"I prefer to not use it." Kai said. "But that's correct."

"Why didn't you ever tell us?" Kristoff asked.

"Because you didn't need to know." Kai said. "It doesn't matter now. Shouldn't you be at Teranhall, Lyre?"

"I wanted to stay until I knew you were alright." Lyre said.

"How thoughtful." Kai said, un-affectionately.

"Anyway," Lyre said, "I overheard you guys wanting a vacation."

"Yeah?" Elsa said. "And?"

Lyre smiled. "I think I can help."

Even in winter, Teranhall's beaches were always nice, sunny, and warm. It only took a day for everyone to get to Teranhall for the beach party Lyre was throwing. Almost everybody who showed up to the party in Arendelle showed up including but not limited to Kai, Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Eugene, Olaf, Rapunzel, Sven, Maximus, Ander and his brothers, King Lyre himself, and many others.

Eugene and Kristoff wore their swimming suits while standing on the sand. The two were bouncing a beach ball around, seeing how long they could keep it bouncing between the two without it falling on the ground. Kristoff saw the ball coming towards him and he out his fists together. Kristoff hit the ball with his fists together, and it bounced off his hands. The ball then flew to the side of Eugene, and it was going down quickly.

"I got it!" Eugene exclaimed. Eugene then ran to the side in hopes of hitting the ball. He didn't want to end their streak. But, the ball was too close to the ground to hit while standing. Eugene jumped down and slid on the sand with his right arm extended. The ball was headed towards his hand. He flicked his wrist when the ball made contact with his hand. The ball then bounced off his hand and it flew up, above Kristoff's head.

"Ha!" Eugene said.

Kristoff was too awed by how far up it was going to respond to Eugene's statement. The ball flew threw the air, high above the ground. Kristoff's eyes followed it as it flew. His eyes followed it downward and finally bounced on the back of someone's head. It couldn't have hurt the person at all. The ball was not hard enough to hurt someone by hitting them in the head. Then, after the ball fell to the ground, a large bump grew from the back of the person's head.

"Sorry!" Kristoff yelled.

The person slowly turned around to reveal himself to be Ander. Ander's face was red with rage. Kristoff and Eugene could've sworn steam was coming out of his ears. The two friends gulped at the sight of Ander. Ander's rage then slowly faded, and he managed a fake smile as if he was done being mad.

"No hard feelings, right?" Kristoff asked.

"Of course not." Ander said, loud enough for Kristoff to hear him from his position.

"Great!" Kristoff said. "Do you mind passing it to us?"

Ander picked up the ball with both of his hands. He then tossed it up in the air and prepared to hit it to Kristoff and Eugene. Ander swung his arm at it as hard as he could with as much power he could muster. Ander hit the ball, and it flew to Kristoff at an incredible speed. It seemed impossible for the ball to go that fast. As it flew towards the two, fire started to engulf it. Smoke was left where it passed. It wasn't going any slower.

"Run!" Eugene exclaimed.

Kristoff and Eugene dashed to the side, away from the ball. The ball flew past their positions, leaving smoke where they were standing. Kristoff and Eugene waved the smoke from out of their faces. The ball kept on flying. The two couldn't seem to get their eyes off of it. It kept flying for about one hundred meters before it showed signs of losing altitude. Although it became smaller to a point that it would normally take an eagle's eye to see it, the firey ball could not be missed. In the far distance, away from anyone on the beach, a large mushroom like explosion happened.

Everyone looked over at the direction in which they heard some sort of explosion. They watched as the fire launched into the sunny sky. Luckily, they were far enough from the explosion to not be harmed. No one dared to ask how something like that could happen. They all just went along with the strangeness of it as if strange things were routine in their daily lives. For some, it actually was.

"Let's play another game." Eugene suggested.

"Agreed." Kristoff said.

Sven and Maximus were enjoying themselves very much. They both "sat" on a large blanket sewn together by some of Arendelle's servants. Giant plates filled with food were set up right in front of them. One large plate with a tower of apples on it was set up for Maximus while another similar one but with carrots was set up for Sven. Other plates filled with foods such as sandwiches and other fruits were there as well. The two' tongues stuck out while looking at their large picnic. No one else on the beach was given such luxury as the two animals were.

If anyone came up to the picnic and tried to take some food for themselves, the two animals would scare them away, no matter who it was. Earlier, when Kristoff tried to grab a carrot for himself, Sven put the carrot and Kristoff's hand in his mouth. That thought Kristoff a lesson; don't steal from Sven. He would regret it.

The reindeer and horse both greatly deserved the rest they had. They had done so much to help the others during the entire quest. If it weren't for them, this beach party wouldn't have been possible. Actually, thinking about it, none of this wouldn't have been possible without any of the others as well. Everyone had a big role to play in all of this, short lived or not.

Olaf was hanging around his "friends". The snowman stood in front of a group of three sand men. No one knew how Olaf made them, but they didn't question him. One wore kelp on his head to look like he had hair, one had a coconut bikini on, signifying that it was female, and the other had a carrot nose resembling Olaf's. Sven was nice enough to let Olaf borrow a carrot, unlike Kristoff.

"How are you guys doing?" Olaf asked the three.

No answer.

"Okay, I see you guys aren't the talkative type." Olaf said.

Still, there was no response for the snowman.

"It's okay if you don't talk," Olaf said, "but let's do something fun."

There was no movement from the sandmen at all. Olaf didn't know that he would be receiving this treatment from them whenever he tried talking to them.

"Really?" Olaf asked. "Still nothing."

The head of the sandman with a carrot nose fell off of it's body and crashed onto the ground. The sand was then completely dispersed from it's round form. Olaf took this as an insult. That sandman would rather destroy itself instead of being with Olaf. Olaf was offended greatly. He couldn't believe his new friends were doing this to him.

"Oh, I see how it is." Olaf said. "Fine, be like that. I don't need you guys." Olaf then turned around and started to walk away, ready to rejoin the party. "Have fun alone with each other!" Olaf said. "I'll find my other friends. My better friends. At least they'll talk to me." Olaf then proceeded to find his friends.

Elsa, Anna, and Rapunzel all wore one piece swimsuits and were knees deep on the beach. They looked around to find the other party goers enjoying the cool ocean water. They wanted to have just as much fun as the others were.

Rapunzel jumped down into the water, wanting desperately to get wet. She then got on her back and stuck her head out of the water. She spit out the water she accidentally swallowed like she was a fountain. Anna and Elsa giggled, amused by Rapunzel. Anna then followed Rapunzel's example and jumped into the area of water beside her. Rapunzel and Elsa tried to cover themselves from the splash. Anna then stuck her head out while on her back like Rapunzel was. Kelp was covering Anna's face. She quickly took it off and threw it to the side.

"Come on, Elsa, jump in." Anna said. "The water is fine."

"I'd rather not get my upper body wet if that's alright with you." Elsa said.

Anna got up and stood with the water knee level. "Oh come on, Elsa." Anna said. Let's have some fun."

"I will." Elsa said. "Just not like that."

Anna then quickly splashed some water at Elsa. The water got all over Elsa's head and most of her upper body. Elsa was initially upset. She removed the wet hair from over her eyes and showed Anna her angry look. Anna gulped, not ready for what was about to come. But then, Elsa's angry look faded and was replaced by a devious smile. Anna's scared look faded as well and was too replaced by a smile.

"Oh, you're so dead." Elsa said. Elsa then splashed water at her sister, trying to make it larger than what Anna did to Elsa. Anna covered her face with her hands but took the impact of the water. Luckily, she was already wet, so it didn't affect her much at all. Anna realized that Elsa wasn't fully wet like she was.

"This means war." Anna exclaimed. The two sisters then furiously began splashing water at each other. Both giggled and laughed through the entire thing. Elsa soon found herself just as wet as Anna and Rapunzel were, and though she normally would be upset, she was having the time of her life. Soon, both sisters' arms were too tired of splashing at each other to manage one more splash.

"Who won?" Elsa asked Rapunzel.

"Hm." Rapunzel said. "Hard to say. You're both completely drenched."

"I was already drenched before we started fighting." Anna said. "So there's nothing to compare me to."

Rapunzel nodded. She then looked over at the sand area. She found Kai laying there, wearing his white Captain of the Guard uniform. He layer on a towel with his arms crossed behind his head. An umbrella was over his body, blocking the sun from his eyes. The sisters saw what Rapunzel was looking at and they looked over at Kai. His eyes were closed, but they knew he wasn't sleeping.

"Are you going to do anything on our little vacation, Kai?" Elsa asked loudly; loud enough for Kai to hear it.

"No." Kai answered still with closed eyes.

"But, you wanted it so bad." Elsa said. "At least enjoy it."

"I am." Kai said.

"Just come in the water, Kai." Anna said.

"Yeah, get in the water." Rapunzel repeated.

"No thanks, I'm good." Kai said. "The doctor said I needed to recover."

"That doesn't mean you can't enjoy the beach." Elsa said. "Pretty please, come in."

"Don't mind me." Kai ordered.

They didn't know the true reason Kai didn't want to get in the water. Sure, he loved the beach as a child but some things changed. Kai drowned and almost died in water twice in his life. He knew that wouldn't be a good habit. So, whenever he faced a body of water, he would try avoid getting in it in fear of drowning again. Even if it was three feet tall, there was still a chance he would drown. So, yes, he could be considered a chicken.

Then, Kai felt his legs being grabbed and arms. He felt sticks go under his back. Kai's eyes shot open to see what it was. In front of him, he could see Eugene grab him by the ankles and pick him up. Above his head, he saw Kristoff grab his upper arms. He also could feel Olaf's presence below him, carrying him by the back.

"Guys?" Kai asked. "What are you doing?"

He saw them carry him closer to the ocean. His eyes widened with fear.

"Oh no." Kai said. "Let me go, guys, just let me go."

They didn't listen to him. They just smiled and laughed, not caring for what Kai wanted. The girls wanted Kai in the water, and they would get Kai into the water. Soon, they stood at the edge of the beach, the water right in front of them.

"Please." Kai said. "Let me go!"

Kristoff and Eugene looked at each other.

"You heard the man." Kristoff said. The two then swung Kai and threw him into the ocean. Kai splashed loudly, the water splashing Kristoff and Eugene. They didn't mind. They were too overjoyed and amused.

Kai then jumped out of the water, standing knee deep in it. The girls laughed as if what they saw was hysterical. Rapunzel even fell back and into the water from laughter. Kai had a distressed look on his face. He acted like a cat who was just thrown in water. Elsa, while laughing, walked over to Kai and put her hand on his shoulder. She couldn't control her laughter.

"Are you okay?" Elsa asked in between her laughter.

Kai spit water on her face like a fountain. Her smile faded, but Kai grew a smile of his own.

The whole group stood in the middle of a giant circle formed by the partygoers. All of the monarchs and other party guests waited patiently for their entertainment to begin. The sun was starting to set, and the sea glowed orange. Elsa had taught them the words prior to this event, and she hoped they remembered their parts.

Elsa: The snow glows white on the mountain tonight. Not a footprint to be seen.

Anna: A kingdom of isolation, and it looks like, I'm the Queen.

Rapunzel: The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside.

Elsa, Anna, and Rapunzel: Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I've tried.

Kristoff: Don't let them in, don't let them see. Be the good girl (or guy) you always have to be.

Eugene: Conceal, don't feel. Don't let them know.

Eugene and Kristoff: Well now they know!

Elsa: Let it go. Let it go. Can't hold it back anymore.

Elsa shot blasts of ice into the air. They all dispersed and turned into snowflakes that slowly fell onto the crowd.

Anna: Let it go. Let it go. Turn away and slam the door.

Rapunzel: I don't care what they're going to say.

Kristoff: Let the storm rage on.

Eugene: The cold never bothered me anyway.

Elsa shot more blasts of snow above the crowd. They all looked up in awe and put their arms up in the air.

Elsa: It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small.

Anna: And the fears that once controlled me can't get to me at all.

Rapunzel: It's time to see what I can do. To test the limits and break through.

Kristoff and Eugene: No right no wrong, no rules for me.

All of them: I'm free.

Elsa: Let it go. Let it go. I am one with the wind and sky.

Anna: Let it go. Let it go. You'll never see me cry.

Rapunzel: Here I stand

Eugene: And here I'll stay.

Kristoff: Let the storm rage on.

Olaf then started to run around the circle, making sure everyone paid attention to him.

Olaf: My power flurries through the air into the ground. My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around. And one thought crystalizes like an icy blast.

Kai then shot a blast of fire in the sky. When it was far above everyone, it exploded and formed into the shape of a bird. No, not a bird. A Phoenix. The crowd was in awe at the spectacle. Of course, the Phoenix wasn't alive but it sure looked like it.

Kai: I'm never going back. The past is in the past.

All: Let it go. Let it go.

Kai: And I'll rise like the break of dawn.

All: Let it go. Let it go.

Elsa: That perfect girl is gone.

Kai: Here I stand, in the light of day.

All: Let the storm rage on.

Elsa and Kai: The cold never bothered me anyway.

The crowd cheered and applauded. Not only were their ears pleased, but their eyes as well. The group smiled at each other, glad none of them messed up as that would've been incredibly embarrassing. Also, no one knew Kai had such a talented singing voice. He usually never sang before this, but now, they knew he was good at it. It hopefully made him feel better about himself.

Eugene and Rapunzel locked eyes and leaned in towards each other for a kiss. The crowd instantly silenced themselves and let out an "aww". The two finally broke away when they realized how awkward it was getting.

"Best kiss of my life." Rapunzel said.

"Best kiss of your life so far." Eugene added.

Anna and Kristoff couldn't help but kiss each other as well. Kristoff grabbed Anna's body and pulled her closer to him. Their lips met, but Anna's feet were dangling off the ground. Anna didn't mind.

Elsa looked over towards Kai and raised her eyebrow. She then cleared her throat to make sure Kai got the message of what she wanted him to do. Kai's eyes widened, realizing Elsa's wish. He then managed a smirk. But then, instead of leaning in to kiss Elsa, Kai did something else. Something unexpected. Something he had been wanting to do for a very long time.

Kai knelt on one knee and held Elsa's left hand with both of his. The crowd gasped, including Elsa.

"Elsa," Kai said, "for so many years of my life, I didn't know what I wanted. I've never had a path I wanted to take. But now, after being with you for a while, I realized that I know what my path is. I know what I want now."

Elsa shed a tear.

Kai continued. "You're my path. Queen Elsa of Arendelle, will you do me an honor and favor? Will you marry me?"

Olaf couldn't help but shed a tear as well. Anna put her hands on her chest, adored by what was happening.

"Yes!" Elsa said.

Kai then got his knee of the ground and stood straight. He put his arms around Elsa and brought her in for a kiss. This kiss seemed so much better than any other kiss they have ever shared. This kiss was special; it was the first kiss they would have as each other's fiancé. They both then reluctantly stopped their kiss, but they still stared into each other's eyes.

"Congratulations." Kristoff said.

"Well, I felt bad knowing we were the only unmarried couple in this group." Kai said, putting his arm around Elsa's shoulder and bringing her in closer.

"I knew you two would eventually get to that step." Anna said.

"This is great." Rapunzel said.

"Despite the fact that we need to find a new finger to put the ring on for Kai." Eugene added.

There was a silence afterword. Eugene just made the moment awkward. Anna decided that it would have to be her to make things less awkward. She had been hiding something for a while. She wanted to wait for the right time to tell everyone, and since everyone was already so happy, she assumed this would be the best time to tell them.

Anna broke off from the group and faced all of them. They all looked at her with a confused look.

"I didn't know when to tell you guys this, but why not now?" Anna said. "I have great news."

"What is it?" Elsa asked.

Anna smiled. "I'm pregnant!"

Everyone's eyes widened and their jaws dropped, especially Kristoff.

"WHAT?!" They all said.

Author's Note: There will be two more chapters to this story. The next chapter will be the final chapter of the story and counts as the epilogue. The chapter after that will be a one shot. Trust me, you don't want to miss the final chapter. It will undoubtedly set up the sequel. Also, the next chapter will be somewhat shorter. I will put a "preview/trailer" at the very end of the next chapter. It will just be a bunch of quotes I may or may not use in the story. The quotes will be based on movie quotes as well.

I needed to put some singing in the story, so why not what happened here. Also, I think this is the first time in the story that had a light hearted theme. The characters all needed a vacation. Also, I have decided on the name of Kristoff's and Anna's child.

Please write a review for this chapter. The reviews for the previous one was kind of light. This is officially the longest chapter in the story as well.

Ciao.

The sequel to this story, Frozen: A Sky Of Shadows, comes out September 2014!
