"One night out with Mary would do me good." Molly complained as she continued to brush her hair in Sherlock's mirror. He was over her shoulder, huffing like a child. "She can't protect you like I can, Molly."

"You think I am going to try and take my life while I am out with her?" Molly asked quietly.

"I just don't feel comfortable with you not in my sight, Molly Hooper." He replied softly as he tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.

A minute passed and he continued on, "What if some drunken lunatic comes and takes advantage of you? Let's say Mary went to the loo or you lost her in the crowd. How would you defend yourself?" He pulled her against himself and softly caressed her arm.

She didn't say a word, she didn't want him to stop touching her.

"Tell me." He murmured into her ear.

Molly breathed loudly as she felt a bulge press into her lower back. He began to kiss her neck and pressed her tightly against him so he could relieve some of his tension. He groaned in satisfaction and whispered, "Stay with me."

"Sherlock, please don't." She whispered.

"You don't want me to stop, Molly Hooper." He kissed her ear and nibbled on her earlobe.

A gasp escaped her and he turned her to face him. His pupils were enlarged as were Molly's. He pressed his hands against both sides of her head and his lips were about to press her's, when John came in.

As soon as Sherlock heard the door open, he groaned with displeasure.

"You have terrible timing, Watson." He growled in a low voice.

John noticed the predicament they were in and quickly turned red as he shut the door.

"Sherlock, I have to go." She leaned up and kissed his cheek, but he turned his head and kissed her. Molly's eyes were open as Sherlock grabbed her and started kissing her passionately. Molly couldn't help but return with a burning passion since she has dreamed of this moment for years.

A ping was heard from Molly's phone and both of their eyes opened.

"One moment," Molly said as she got her phone from the top of the dresser and she read the text. She tried to delete it, but Sherlock snatched it away and read it as Molly tried to grab her phone from him.

"Sherlock, please don't-"

"When were you going to tell me?" He asked with a new kind of fire in his eyes. He held up her cell which read. "Romance is in the air, but is it real? Of course not. Everyone just is pitying you. Don't worry, I can care for you in a way no one can. I may be the only human being actually considering to love you. xo JM."

She kept blinking to keep away the tears as she grabbed her cellphone back. "Its none of your business, Mr. Holmes."

Molly turned away and opened the door of his bedroom and went into the living room where John and Mary sat.

"Mary, let's go, please." Molly pleaded as she grabbed her purse and walked out of the main door.

Mary looked to John, worried, but got up and followed suit. Sherlock burst from his room, "Do not let her leave this flat."

Sherlock ran out the door and John just remained sitting. He wasn't disappointed when a few moments later Sherlock returned with a fuming Mary beside him and a disgruntled Molly who was in her arms.

"What in the bloody hell is going on?" John questioned as his wife plopped back beside him and rested her head on his shoulder.

"Molly bloody Hooper is being contacted by Jim Moriarty and she thinks it's perfectly acceptable to go out to a pub and have a few drinks while he is roaming the streets of London." Sherlock said as he sat down and held his arms against Molly's stomach so she couldn't move.

"Sherlock, I could protect her. I am more capable of you, you know." Mary rolled her eyes.

"I won't go anywhere Sherlock, can I just get off your lap?" Molly asked, annoyed.

"No, I quite like you sitting here." He said, smiling to himself.

She was about to make a retort when he interrupted, "Don't act like you don't like it Molly."

Molly blushed as she readjusted herself and then a loud silence was present.

"So, Molly, chick flicks?" Mary asked, still wanting to bond with Molly.

She nodded, "Sounds like a plan to me."

Molly started to get up but was stopped by Sherlock not moving his arms.

"Sherlock, do not tell me you want to watch these with us."

"I want to stay right here with you. I will protect you." He kissed her head as he placed her beside him and wrapped an arm around her.

"What the hell happened to my best mate?" John whispered to a smirking Mary.

"Seems our boy is in love." She replied as she gave him a quick kiss.

"I'll get the movies!" Mary declared as she ran to her bag.

"You had some already?" Molly asked.

"You can never be too prepared." Mary grinned as she spread out some movies in front of the pathologist.

Molly grabbed the movie Clueless which resulted in Sherlock and John sighing as Mary plopped in the DVD.
