Author's Note and disclaimer: So this chapter took me a while to write. I didn't know how to continue at first, but I think I figured it out. Hopefully, maybe, who knows?

I do not own Gundam Wing.

Wufei and Himeno took three days off work—it was practically forced on them by everyone. Wufei took his time packing whatever he needed for the case in America, Himeno wasn't complaining about not being at work. She would rather stay in bed than go to cube-farm. Wufei had to admit to himself that Himeno seemed more tired than usual. Even though she got plenty of sleep at night and ate food that gave her energy. Wufei suggested that she go to the doctor, but she glared at him and continued with whatever she was doing.

Today was no exception. It was their second day off, it was almost one and Himeno was still in bed. Wufei was up at the crack of dawn, like usual, and went through his work out, cooked breakfast and watched the news. He was able to finish the book he began reading months ago and got caught up on his case profiles. He was about to start cleaning when he glanced up at the clock and sighed.

Walking into their bedroom he found Himeno still rolled up in the blankets. The comforter pulled up over her head, cutting off the fresh air, but he knew she was still alive by the quiet snoring. Wufei sat on edge of the bed, not bothering being careful. He poked at what he guess was her shoulder, but she didn't stir. He rolled his eyes and chuckled—it was going to be the hard way then. Removing the comforter to drown his wife in the sun light beaming in through their windows, Wufei was about to shake her, but he paused for a moment. He loved watching her sleep; it was the only time she looked at peace with the world. Wufei was able to trace every edge of her long eyelashes that caressed her cheeks and eyed her slightly parted lips that begged to be kissed.

Wufei brushed away her bangs and relished in the softness of her hair. The Chinese pilot shifted, crossing his left arm to the other side of Himeno, while his right hand smoothed over her shoulders. He towered over her, hovering only inches away from the exposed area on her neck. He watched, making sure she wasn't stirring, before his lips met her silky skin and began dropping feathery kisses that led from the nook of her neck to her temple.

"If you plan on taking advantage of me, Mister, you could at least offer to make a girl breakfast first." Himeno chimed startling her husband. He almost jumped out of his skin; her slow rhythm breathing didn't change when she woke. Reminding him, once again, how talented she is when she needed to be quiet.

Wufei starred smugly down at the girl, "I would offer you breakfast, if it wasn't past one already."

Himeno replied sarcastically, "it's only one?"

Wufei took his pillow and struck her with it, making her squeal with glee. He smiled wickedly, "you've never made a noise like that before."

Turning the pillow over Himeno smiled mischievously and retorted coolly, "there are a lot of noises you've never heard me say."

"Oh really," Wufei asked as his right hand traced her left until he reached her wrists—gently pinning her to the bed. "I guess I should look into that."

Before Himeno could rebuff his remark, Wufei already had his lips covering hers, releasing another surprised noise from her throat. She attempted to swat him away, but his free hand caught hers and pinned it against the bed. Her angry grunts turned into passionate moans as Wufei slipped his tongue inside her mouth and deepened their kiss all in one move.

Finally releasing her Himeno glared up at him through her bangs with pouty lips. "You're an ass."

"Then why'd you marry me?" Wufei chuckled.

"Because you're a cute ass," Himeno mocked and attempted to get up, but Wufei wouldn't let her wrists go. "Can I get up, please; I need to go to the bathroom."

Wufei snuck in a quick peck before letting her go, "Only because you asked nicely."

"You're hilarious." Himeno said stiffly as she got to her feet. "Speaking of the bathroom, what do you want to do for breakfast/lunch?"

"What does a bathroom have to do with food?" Wufei asked and automatically regretting his question when Himeno poked her head out of the bathroom with a knowing glare. "I don't want to cook."

"Neither do I."

"Do you ever?" Wufei retorted and received a shampoo bottle thrown at his head, but missing him. He stared at the bottle lying on the floor before glancing at the bathroom door, "were you even trying?"

"Don't make me get off this toilet." Himeno shouted.

"Heaven forbid." Wufei whispered.

Himeno reemerged fresh faced, but attempting to stifle a yawn. Wufei's brow furrowed as his eyes swept over his wife's appearance. She looked pale and thinner—maybe it was from sleeping too much? He decided to ask the others to keep an eye on her while he's away, something was off about her but he couldn't put his finger on it.

After Himeno got dressed they decided to go out for the day, stopping by a café to get her something to eat. They traveled the streets, stopping by various windows and looking at clothes, jewelry and posters. Himeno caught something out of the corner of her eye and bolted in the same direction. Wufei swiveled his head around and began to weave his way through the crowd—trying to keep up with her.

Finally, he had caught up with her. She was kneeling on the ground in front of a big brown box. An elderly woman sat behind it with knitting utensils in her lap and two German Shepherds lay next to her. A glimpse of the past shimmered in Wufei's memory, when they first met Himeno in the forests of Poland she had a dog with her. But when they saw her next, a few months later, she didn't have the dog by her side.

The next thing Wufei knew he was receiving puppy kisses on his nose, Himeno and the elderly lady began laughing at his perplex expression. "She likes you Wufei." Himeno chimed.

"Hm," Wufei replied as he wiped away the evidence. He saw shinning look in Himeno's big doe eyes and automatically knew what she wanted. He sighed, "Himeno…"

"Oh come on Wufei. It's not like we can't afford a dog, plus I used to train the dogs back in the war so it won't take me long to get her potty trained, our building allows pets and look at her!" Himeno held the dog closer to Wufei, "do you see this face? She's wants to come home with us!"

Wufei glanced at the old woman who just smiled sweetly, "she does need a good home and I think your wife won't take no for an answer."

Sighing and rolling his eyes Wufei silently agreed, pulling out his wallet, "how much for her?"

"For you two she's free." The elder woman said smiling sweetly, "just promise me you'll be good to her."

Wufei nodded and spoke with the woman some more about pet necessities as Himeno helped the puppy say good bye to her parents.

Their next stop was the pet store where Himeno and Wufei watched as the dog got vaccinated and received several shots. After the torture Himeno cuddled the puppy to her chest and apologized several times.

"She'll need a name." Wufei said gesturing towards the collars and tag machine.

Himeno's face scrunched together as she thought of the perfect name, looking back forth between Wufei and the dog. "I can't think of a good one."

"What was your old dog's name?" Wufei asked as he entered their address and phone number onto the screen.

"Odin." Himeno replied and received a quick glance from her husband, "what it was fitting, considering where we found her. Although, naming a female with a male name is a bit unorthodox."

"No I was just surprised. I didn't think you knew anything about Norwegian mythology." Wufei honestly spoke as his attention was brought to the whimpering puppy. He patted her head and scratched behind her ear, he smiled when the puppy closed her eyes and began to wag her tail in happiness.

Himeno's face beamed, "what about Calypso?"

Wufei shrugged, nodded and then typed the dog's new name in—finishing the process. He picked out a green heart shaped tag and they waited as it was engraved. He held it up to let Himeno access it, she stood on her tip toes and kissed him on the cheek.

"She can't sleep on the bed." Wufei said blushing at the sudden showing of affection. "And how big is she going to get?"

Himeno ignored his statement with smirk, "she'll get pretty big, but look at it this way you have a running partner."

"Is that the reason why we got her, so you could get out of running in the morning with me?" Wufei asked straight faced.

"Maybe," Ayame quickly answered as she made a run for it towards the kennels. Hiding behind the one Calypso would eventually grow into. However, it was too big for them to carry home. Luckily a store employee stopped by, wondering if they needed any help, Wufei began to interrogate the man about delivering the kennel while Himeno found toys, dog food and trays for her food and water.

Happily, they left the store with Calypso's belongings, knowing that the store was going to deliver the kennel tomorrow morning.

Upon arriving home Himeno let the puppy loose in the kitchen as they set up her bed, food and water dish. While Himeno played with her on the floor, Wufei snuck his phone out and was able to sneak a photo of the two, but not without her knowing. She forced Wufei into a few photos and convinced him to send them to Quatre and Duo, knowing that they would share with their lovers.

Seconds later Wufei's phone blew up with several text messages from the two. He glared at Himeno who laughed evilly and continued to play with the puppy.

After tiring Calypso out they left her to sleep on her bed, remaining in the kitchen until she was potty trained. Wufei and Himeno were dressed in their pajamas, relaxing on the couch with a box of pizza sitting in front of them while a movie was playing.

"You know there's another reason why I wanted Calypso." Himeno suddenly spoke attaining Wufei's attention, "when you leave for who knows how I long it'll be the first time we've been apart since we've been together."

Himeno spoke the truth; they had been dating for a year and then almost a year before they broke up before the war was over. And even then they were close; they were never apart unless a mission called for it. Lonesome was the first word that popped into his head and rippled throughout his entire being. It was then that they hadn't talked about their communication schedule or anything of the sort. He made a mental note to talk to her about it tomorrow before he left and then go over it with the others.

He tossed his pizza back into the box and lifted Himeno into his lap. He tucked her hair behind her ear and led her lips to his; there was a sense of urgency in her forceful kiss. The way her fingers tangled themselves in his hair, how she clenched the fabric of his shirt and hugged her body close to his screamed desperate.

She was being oddly lovable and not just today, this started happening before they even got married.

Wufei broke away from their mini make-out session and locked eyes with her, "Himeno…are you pregnant?"
