'- and I was like "well of course I'll let you borrow my quill" and in two minutes the slimy git is covered with ink, Oh he looked like a tomato. He was about to hex me when McGonagall showed up and told him to go to the wing," said James, as Sirius and Peter laughed next to him.

"Oh, Lily's going to light a fire under your ass," sighed Demi as she smiled. "But the spell I taught you worked? I'm impressed."

"Yep, took Sirius a couple tries, but he got it in the end," said James, clapping him on the back.

"Where were you, Remus?" asked Kiaria, eyeing him suspiciously.

"Well, I had to go see my mum that night," he stammered.

"But, you came back all bruised and battered. Are you –,"she was cut off by the sound of the classroom door opening, its hinges squealing.

"You may enter," said Professor Pavor, dressed in his usual red attire. The classroom was almost pitch black and the students had to feel their way to their seats.

"Sorry," said squealed Alice, as she accidently perched herself in an already occupied seat.

"S'okay" said Frank, moving over to the seat next to him, and helping Alice sit down.

THUD. The two looked around and saw a dark shape lying on the ground a few meters ahead in the aisle. "Jesus" said Remus, as he made to stand up.

"Dear, dear. I would expect someone like you to have better vision," tutted Professor Pavor.

"Git," whispered Demi next to Sirius.

"If I could wrap my hands around his throat just once," started Sirius.

"Please open your books to page 394," said Professor Pavor, as they heard him tap the overhead. An image flickered onto the screen ahead; a werewolf.

"But sir, according to the curriculum, were not suppose dot be learning about nocturnal animals at all-" started Remus.

"Quiet, boy. Unless you would like another detention," spat Pavor. "Now, werewolves were never usually taught at the third year level until now. I have decided that you students should know how to arm ourselves against any type of danger there is. These beasts, are one of them. They pose as an imminent threat to society, and therefore, ought to be killed."

"But sir, they're harmless once they are in human form" said Lily, from her seat next to Severus, who was leaning forward eagerly.

"Have you ever faced a fully formed werewolf Miss Evans?" asked Pavor.

"Well, no sir-" she began.

"Then I would keep my opinions to myself then, would I not?" he asked tonelessly.

"Sir, werewolves aren't bad creatures. They aren't even creatures to be perfectly honest," stated Remus.

"The ministry has deemed them as an extremely dangerous species, just as I said in the beginning of the year. Perhaps if you used the holes on the side of your head, also known as ears, you would have heard me say so."

"But sir-" said Remus.

"Detention, one week Mr. Lupin."

"I didn't-"

"Care to make it another?" Asked Pavor. "I have told you once, that you should not question my methods, yet you still do. Now, the next person to interrupt me will be kicked out of class. Is that clear?"

"Yes Professor," rang through the class.

They spent the next hour learning how to properly kill a werewolf. It wasn't only the Gryffindors who were relieved to leave the class at the end of the day. They made their way into he common room, each taking their customary seat by the fire. Lily, however, was still with Severus in the library much to the dismay of James, While Sirius was off on another date.

"Jesus, I hate him," said Peter.

"Why does he hate you?" asked Kiaria, looking at Remus from across the Common room.

"I dunno. Probably the fact that I am a smart man," he laughed.

"No, it's more than that," muttered James from his seat next to Demi.

"He has something against werewolves, and that's for sure," said Alice. "I've never minded them, I've always felt sort of bad for 'em."

"Yeah, they're constantly persecuted for an illness that they are not at fault for. Other creatures suffer just the same," added Demi.

Just then Sirius sauntered in to the common room and took the last seat next to Demi, "So, what have I missed?" he asked, as he flung his arm around Demi's shoulders.

"Well," she began, gingerly picking up his arm and tossing it back to his side, "We were discussing the pressing matter that is anti-werewolf legislation."

"I've always hated that. Especially since my family agrees with it," Sirius spat.

"What?" cried the others, forgetting that his family was immersed in the "purification" of the Wizard race.

"Well, they've always believed that werewolves were trying to kill everyone and become the predominate species. My aunt Lucretia was notorious in the ministry. She wanted to make werewolf coats and pelts," noticing the pallid look on everyone's faces (especially Remus') he added, "messed up. I know."

"Just how exactly did you manage to be the only slightly sane one out of the bunch?" asked Kiaria.

"Hey, I am perfectly sane. They, however, have their heads too far up their own asses to see any differently," he replied.

"How'd your date with what's-her-face go?" asked Remus, eager to change the topic.

"She was amazing. Her breasts are so firm-"

"Wait what?" asked all the girls present.

"Her breasts-?" began Alice.

"-were-" continued Kiaria.

"-firm?" finished Demi.

"Yeah, why?" asked Sirius.

"Sorry, but I can't refrain from asking; how do you know this?" asked Demi, getting slightly red in the face.

"Well, we were snogging, and we got a little into it," Sirius said, matching her complexion.

"So your telling me that when you snog people, you 'get into it'?" she retorted.

"YES! Did you and Lockhart ever?" Sirius asked.

"None of your business" she sniffed, standing up.

"Hey, you just asked me about mine" Sirius spat, standing up as well.

"Okay you two, just relax" said Remus standing up and resting a hand on Sirius' shoulders. "Demi, I'm pretty sure he didn't mean to offend you-" began Remus.

"I'm not offended," Demi shot.

"Of course you aren't, you're jealous" interrupted Sirius, smirking slightly as Demi's shade went from red to pink.

"I'm not jealous, and don't even try to make it seem like I am," she replied.

"Just admit it, you want me to kiss you" Sirius said. He sidestepped Remus who'd moved in front of the pair and looked down at Demi who was close to breaking his face.

"Shut up" she said, rooted to the spot, looking down at her feet.

Sirius lifted a single finger and placed it under her chin. Gradually, he tilted her head until she was face to face with him. Ever so slowly, he came close to her.
