as Naruto walked from the hokage tower, down the main street we came arcoss the formiliar sight of Konohamaru and his friend hiding beneithe a box shaped rock with two eye holes cut into it.
"konohamaru. rocks have lumps, their are not perfectly square, nor do they have eye holes." said naruto as he watched a small puff of smoke fallowed by coughing and hacking from the three children.
"I am Konohamaru. the Future seventh Hokage!" said the young Sarutobi heir as he took a heroic pose, fallowed by his two academy friends Udon and Moegi. (spelt their names right?)
"what ya guys want?" asked naruto as he looked at the three ninjas-to-be, seeing the hopeful looks on the girl and boy behind Konohamaru.
"Boss, you Promised to play Ninja with us!" said the young sarutobi heir as he looked up to naruto.
"this is intresting, a Ninja playing Ninja. isnt that a bit to childish?" came the voice from behind naruto, who turned to see who it was.
"Oh Hey, Sakura." greeted the blonde as he gave a small wave and smile, which caused the pinkette to blush slightly at the greeting.
"Oi, boss." getting the attention of the blonde demon vessal.
"is she... ya know?" said the boy as flipping up his pinky fingure to the blonde.
seeing this action, the small amount of sweat grew on naruto's forehead, with flashbacks of sakura punching him repeatedly while in the academy.
Sakura on the other hand, blushed at this action. though she did not know how to react as she has been feeling conflicted since the wave mission.
"um, afraid not little buddy." said Naruto with a small smile, sakura felt a little hurt from that short answer.
"well thats good, because who would want to date someone that flat. i bet you like women with big chests, dont ya boss?" said konohamaru with out thinking.
the street in where they were standing seemed to drop in temputure, look to the source of the feeling of death and pain. the over shadowing look on sakura's face gave naruto the greatest of ideas he had.
"Konohamaru." said naruto as he turned to the boy in question. "you should run... like right now, because if she catches you, you are on your own."
seeing konohamaru nodding his head and taking off as fast as his little legs could carry him, naruto could help but shack his head abit. turning his attention to the pinkette.
"Now, sakura. remember Konohamaru is just a kid. so he doesnt know better." Naruto said as he tired to reason with the girl.
"Naruto... get. out. of my. way." stepping out of the girl's way to allow her to go after the poor boy. but choosed to fallow; for his own amusement... 'i really need to stop hanging around Tchang-nii.'
as they rounded the corner to see Konohamaru being held up by a guy wearing some weird purple makeup and a cat costume with a large wrapped bundle on his back, beside him was a girl with four pigtails that sprouted out giving a lion's mane like look. but he notice small grains of sand floating in the air around the tree behind them.
"hey drop the kid... now." said naruto as he glared at the older boy infront of him, but due to his small height, he had to look up to the black cloathed boy.
"Or what, gonna run and tell your momma on me?" retorted the older boy, as he cast a glare towards the blonde.
"I am an ophan, asshole. but no, i will make you put him down. with or without your arm still on is up to you." said naruto as bits of fire came out as he spoke, sparks of lightning danced around him, but what caught thier attention the most was the flash of red in his eyes.
"fine, take the brat." said the cat themed ninja as he dropped Konohamaru, who clumsily took cover behind naruto.
"your lucky, or else Boss here would make you pay." said Konohamaru smuggly, but quickly silenced himself as he saw the look on naruto's face, it was simular to his grandfather's look when dealing with that mummy looking guy that visits Him in is office from time to time.
"oh yeah? lets see than." said boy as he reached for the bundle on his back.
"really you're gonna use crow here?" said the blond girl, who was looking to the blonde as if trying to figure out why he seemed so familiar to her.
this all stopped when a swirling sandstorm happened around them, when it settled down. the two sand-nins were shocked to see a red head boy with dark circles around his eyes. but this was not what shocked them.
it was the fact that the red head was standing by the blond leaf-nin with his hand grabbing a bit of cloathing form the back of the his black jacket.
"ga-gaara." came the slightly scared voices of the two.
"quite, Kankuro. you have embarrassed temari and myself infront of Onii-sama." came the stotic voice from the red head.
"Onii-sama?" questioned the ones present.
"Gaara, only called that brat Onii-sama." said the now named Kankuro. "you know that one that called you-"
"Sandy-chan?" questioned naruto as he looked that the blonde girl before him.
"Foxy-kun?" asked temari looking to the boy infront of her.
-flashback 9 years ago-
traveling across the desert sand under the scorching heat of the sun. a young naruto around the age of 5 years of age and long with hurizen sarutobi. it has been six months since naruto found his secret cave, and it that time naruto had made many visits to the cave, his only place where no one bothered him.
now his Jiji took him away from the village to visit another, something about renewing a treaty between the two villages. naruto was thrilled to see another village, that was until he found out that it was in the desert, and the ment sand, lots and lots of burning hot sand. it took them the most three days to travel from Konoha to where they were now, and Naruto really wanted something cold to drink or eat now, but he had to wait until they got to... was it samu? suma? sanu? all he knew was, that the village was the hidden sand. he understood why it was called the hidden sand, with all desert sand around here one could become lost.
but the heat was too much for his smaller than normal form as he soon found himself sleepy and need to rest.
-later that day-
Naruto awoke to the sound of the carrage that he and his jiji traveled in come to a jerking stop. upon looking out the vailed window, naruto saw large walls made of sand that created a dome like structure. the only opening he could see was the narrow valley that was between the large walls, and standing at the opening was a man dressed in a robe much like his jiji, but in a light green color and the kanji for wind on his hat. he had his face set in a stern and angry look as if he was disappointed in something.
"greetings Kazekage-dono." greeted Sarutobi as he stepped out of the carrage.
"Greetings, Hokage-dono. how did you trip go?" asked the man in green as he gave a slight tilt with his head.
"Excellent, if not for the snores of my young charge that accompanied me along the journy." joked the old kage as he ruffed the young blonde's hair.
although he his face never changed one could see the slight glint of amusment shine in his eyes.
"Come, we still got a few hours of daylight light and we must start the draft of the new treaty, than we could relax for the evening." said the kazekage as he motioned for the Hokage and the young blonde to fallow him.
-Kazekage office-
let it be known that naruto did not like sitting for long periodes of time, while he enjoyed visiting his Jiji at his office, it didnt last quit as long since it was only for a few minutes or so, until his jiji took him out to eat.
sensing his adopted grandson's impatients, Sarutobi could only give a mental chuckle at seeing his face scrunch up while his eyes wondering around the office, looking for anything to keep his attention for while at lest. that was until he noticed a picture frame on the desk, it had three children in it. one was a tall girl with shoulder length hair. maybe a year or two older, the other was a boy with dark brown hair playing with a string puppet, the last was the shortest a boy with red hair and dark circles around his eyes, giving the appearnce of a Racoon.
"Naruto my boy, if you like i could ask the Kazekage to have someone escort you to playground or a park to entertain yourself while we work." said sarutobi as he looked to the Kazekage, who did reply but just gave a nod.
"yes, i believe my Duaghter would keep the boy busy." as he snapped his fingers letting one of his DUNE ninja to appear. "Rat, would you please fetch my daughter."
in a few moments the DUNE ninja Appeared with the same girl form the photograph.
"this is my Daughter Temari, Temari this is the Hokage and his Guest..."
"Uzumaki, Naruto Uzumaki." said the blonde boy as he did not notice the slight widening of the Kazekage's eyes, though Sarutobi did as his eyes narrowed.
"yes, anyway would you please take young Naruto to the park while we do business?" said the Kazekage as he waved his daughter to leave without a respounce.
"yes, Father." said Temari as she bowed to the kages, but turned to the boy in question."come with me."
after the childern left, the Kazekage turned to Sarutobi with a look in his eyes.
"He is 'His' son isnt he." said the Kazekage as he didnt bother to look up for his work. "before you even ask. No, i do not have spies in Konoha. just stating the facts, 1. he looks like him. 2. he was courting Kushina Uzumaki the last i checked, and his age is roughly around the time he died."
"I see you are still as sharp, but yes, he is their son." said the old man with a glare.
"then i know the perfect way to strengthen the bond between our villages..."
-with Naruto-
as naruto trailed behind the blonde female, he took in the sights of the village, it was vastly different from Konoha, since the homes and other buildings look like harden sandcastles, even a few spots were water was mined up from underground lakes. the park was on of the few that had lush green grass, and a few palm trees. he watched as a few kids were playing soccer as they kicked the ball back and forth.
as he and temari began to play with them until he saw the boy with red hair from the picture, he decided to pass the ball to the boy, only to here something the made him freeze.
"Run Its the Demon!" the children said in fright as left naruto, temari, and the boy with red hair.
before naruto could respond. he watched the boy with red hair run in the opposit direction of the children with tears running down his face.
"Gaara!" temari yelled as she chased after the red haired boy. leaving Naruto behind.
"I guess no matter where i go, i will always be a demon..." naruto said to himself in a sad voice, as he sat down against one of the walls that surrounded the park. not noticing that a shadow grew beside his own which leaned down to give his own shadow a hug.
a few hours later temari came running back, looking for the blond boy only to find him sitting were he had been for the last few hours, leaning against a wall with his knees brought close to his chest. as she approched him, tapping him on his shoulder she notice flitched inwardly at the slightist touch.
"Hey, The hokage was worried sick about you when you didnt return. why are you still here?" the girl asked curiously, wondering if the boy wanted to still play in the park this late in the evening.
"I am just a demon, no body wants me around, i thought that since i was going to a different village, i would meet new people who will be my friends, and i am still being call a demon." came the broken voice of the boy.
upon hearing this, Temari quickly notice that Naruto was treated the same as her little brother. wanting to comfort the boy, she sat beside him.
"they were not call you the demon, it was the boy with red hair." temari said with sadness in her voice. "people are afraid of him, because he could control the sand, much like the sand demon. the Ichibi."
"it's not fair, people hate me for something i didnt do. so what if he controls sand, he didnt hurt anyone so why do people hate him?" Naruto said as he felt angry that someone was hated for having a gift. so what if it was similiar to a sand demon's power, if he didnt hurt anyone why would they hate him?
after their deep hearted talk about temari's baby brother and his own life of being hated for something he had no clue about. until it was the sun had long since set leaving behind purple and orange clouds in the sky.
while naruto was slow walking back, temari had already made her way home. while he was by himself, he came across the red headed boy, sitting on top a roof. while he did not know how to walk wall, he did know how to jump off the walls to get to the roof.
upon landing by the boy, only to be greeted by a large wall of sand.
"umm. Hi?" naruto said nervously as he watched the sand move slowly apart letting naruto see the face of the boy, who was wary of the boy before him. "Name's Naruto, what's yours?"
"G-gaara." said the boy as he was still not trusting of the blond boy.
"your Temari's little brother right? I met her earlier today, and met you shortly at the park before those jerks ran off screaming like babies." said naruto with a grin which slowly passed onto Gaara as he gained a very small smile. "i think is really awesome that you can control sand like that."
he said as he made overly dramatic hand gestures discribing how cool it was to control sand that was still Floating around them.
"it must take a lot of training to make it move so easily." naruto said as he watched the sand take different shapes, form orbs, cubes, and pyramids that changed between other shapes. "i wish i could do something like that, but anyway wanna play a game?"
"what kind of game?" the young red head asked as he looked at naruto.
"umm, i dont chess?" naruto asked not really sure himself. "you could make the chess board and peices."
seeing the strange logic behind his idea, gaara created the chess board and pieces for the game.
it turned out that even though naruto was not big on smarts or thinking a head, he did win 4 of the 7 games they played although just barely.
that was until several sand shinobi appeared on top of the roofs of buildings around the two boys.
"sir, target is in sight... target is in the presents of that boy from Konoha... how do we proceed?... understood all targets must be eliminated, no witnesses. alright people you know what to do." said one of the sand nins.
as naruto and Gaara began their next game, they did not hear the sound of high speed winds of a futon jutsu. atlest thats what the sand nins thought until they saw Naruto push gaara out of the way taking the full force of the jutsu.
"AYAAA" came the painful scream from the young blond as he was thrown into a wall that was across the street into another building.
"Naruto!" the young red head yelled as his sand to make a bridge to cross to the building roof tops to reach the young blonde.
unfortunately he could not make it to his new found freind, as a kunai with a explosive tag landed just in front of him, which ignited the moment it landed sending the boy back to his side of the bridge.
Naruto could only hazily look to across the roof top to where he new friend was being attacked by Sand ninja.
that was until he saw the explosion that sent the red head flying back.
gaara stood up, his sand shield wisping violently around him ready incase of another attack.
"leave him... ALONE!" the young blonde yelled from his side as he ran across the roof top and for the briefest moment his shadow was flexed about him as he countinued to run and then he disappeared into a Kagehodo that no one suprisingly noticed only to appear on the other side punching the sand nin that stood over the young red head.
"why do you protect a demon, boy?" the sand nin said with vemon.
"he is no demon, and Neither am I!" said the blonde as his eyes flickered between solid red, blue, and slitted red eyes. "Now Back Off!"
that was when his shadow reached out behind him but did not do anything, the sand on the other hand started to cover the sand nin.
"sand... barrial!" the young boy said as he made a crushing motion with his hand, effectivily crushing the sand ninja.
after finding out that the sand ninja that attacked them turned out to be his own uncle, Gaara was at the gate of insainity about to fall into the abyss of bloodshed. until he felt a hand on his shoulder.
"Hey, you ok?" the young blonde asked as he sat by the red head.
"y-you are not afraid of me?" gaara asked seeing that his new friend not run form him.
"No, where i am from, people call me a demon, you know what? to hell what they think, i will become something greater i will become hokage. i will become the greatest ninja in all the land of fire, if not all the nations." said naruto as he looked to the moon. "as should you, you should work hard in becoming someone they look up to instead looking down on, become the Kazekage."
seeing the fire the seemed to glow in his eyes, gaara could only feel that his new friend would be the strongest person in all the elemental nations.
after turning gaara away from the path of self-destruction, gaara invited naruto to his family home to which he gladly accepted. only to find the Kages sitting in the living room, well... the kazekage was sitting with a bored look on his face, the Hokage on the other hand had paced back and forth soo much so that he was turning the sand floor into glass from his pacing.
once they took notice of the two, it sprung two types of reaction.
from the Kazekage, his reactiong was towards the blonde's choice in company only to see that the blonde boy's cloths seem to be burnt and roughed up abit. while he did not like his youngest son for what he held, that did not mean he did not love the boy, it was just the civilain council and the shinobi council antics that made him become a neutural party when dealing towards his own child.
but now he could see the look in his son's eye, that was once depressed and longing for friendship was now gone, in it's place was the same look that burned in the blonde's eyes. he could feel his pride as a father grow when he saw that look in his son's eyes.
as for the Hokage, he was worried about his adopted grandson, seeing him in slightly burnt rags that were once his cloths. he feared the worst as he rushed to check on the boy, to see the bright smile on his face, showing he was alright, for now. but seeing the young redhead that was maybe the same age or just a bit younger than naruto. he could see the similarities between the young redhead and the kazekage. but it was those eyes the burned with the will of fire that showed that naruto had shown the child in question to rise up and above those that caused you pain.
it warmed his old heart, seeing the young blonde make a new friend.
"Gaara, why were you out so late?" the Kazekage asked, while his voice was stern the glint of worry shown in his eyes.
"father, I was playing with my new friend Naruto here. but some of the sand ninjas attacked me... again." gaara reply only to become quite near the end while it was barely heard, the kazekage still heard it. "this time it was Uncle that attacked."
"WHAT!?" the Kazekage yelled as he trusted his children's safety to a man that was his own brother-in-law, only to find that he attacked his own son. oh he knew it wasnt his fault, oh no. he knew his brother-in-law was a loyal shinobi above all else and would not question orders. "damn that blasted council."
turning to look at the now frighten children, he took step towards gaara only to be blocked by the young Blonde whose eyes burned with a furious determination that it would make the brightest fire, look like a candle flame.
"step aside boy, i wish to take to my son." he said with a glare.
"No, i will not let you hurt my friend, regardless if you are his father. A father should protect his family, no matter what. I may not be gaara's brother or even part of his family, but i will never let anyone hurt the ones that are precious to me." naruto declaired as he stood protectively infront of his new friend.
"boy, you have much spirit, i respect that. and as such i will make you a deal." said the kazekage with a sly tone, which sarutobi caught.
while Sarutobi did not like the idea, which was to come. he knew that with Naruto's 'never back down' addituted, he would not back down from what the kazekage had to offer.
"what deal?" this caused naruto to tilt his head to the side, making him look like a curious fox, that was intrested in a new object.
"the deal is simple, i will not harm gaara. instead i will make the ones responsible for what ever harm they had caused him pay for their misdeeds." said the Kazekage as he stood infront of naruto.
"and what do you get in return?" naruto asked this time he went back to being on guard.
"you become part of our family." said the Kazekage as he tilted his head down to look at naruto's reaction.
"like Adoption?"
"No, you will Marry my daughter, Temari. the girl you met earlier today." said the kazekage.
"WHAT!?" came the shouts one from naruto that was right infront of him, the other came from behind him near the hall to go upstairs to his children's bedrooms.
"father you cant be serious!?" said the older of the two blondes as he looked at her father in desperration hoping he was not being serious about the matter.
"I am, Naruto has shown great courage in standing up against someone that is stronger than he, and i respect that. he also befreinded Gaara, when no one else will, and i can see that in my mistake in become neutural when dealing with the shinobi and civilain councils, i became cold and emotionless towards my children, and my youngest son had suffered much because of my mistake. Now i am recetifying that mistake, tomorrow after Naruto and sarutobi leave to konoha, i will punish both council's and state that you and naruto will be marry once you both become chunin or the age of 16. which i will should let you know, that once naruto becomes a chunin or 16. so it works out in the end, either way this will help our villages become stronger." said the Kazekage with great humor in his voice, who said he was emotionless all the time. he was the best prankester in all of sunagakure before he became jonin and met his darling wife.
"but, but. FATHER! why do i have to be married?" temari all but demand.
"simple, young Naruto here has proven that despite myself being a Kage, he would stand against one such as I, and i do believe Hokage-dono, would agree naruto would be much better suited to be your future husband than a spoild brat, and i think gaara would like to have him as a brother. am i right gaara?" the Kazekage asked his youngest child.
"Yes, i would like to have Naruto as my Onii-sama." gaara said softly gaining looks of shock from his father, sister, and his new friend.
"Onii-sama? why do you call Naruto that?" His father asked, curious as to why his son would refer to naruto in such a way.
"Because, Onii-sama tought me that i should not care what others think of me, and that i should strive to become a great shinobi, what better way than to become Kazekage." said gaara, while he was soft spoke in the begining, his voice and the determination in his voice grew stronger as he decleared he would become the next Kazekage.
"and so you shall, once you become a ninja." said his father as he wore a proud smile behind that vail on his face.
"As for you Young Naruto, do you swear that once you marry my daughter you will do all in your power to protect her, even if that means the cost of your life?" said the Kazekage as the room seem to darken with in the center and his eyes giving a an unholy glow as he glared down at naruto.
"I promise, and Naruto Uzumaki never breaks a promise." said naruto as his stood firm under the Kage level KI. much to sarutobi's suprise.
"good, Now lets begin dinner shall we." said the Kazekage as he left the room.
-the next day.-
naruto awoke in a slight daze as he thought what happen the night before was just a weird dream, that was until he heard his new friend.
"good morning Onii-sama." the red head greeted as naruto walked into the kitchen. only to get a grumble of 'mornin' as the blonde took a seat pouring himself a bowl of cereal.
as naruto began his breakfast he was took notice of another boy walking into the kitchen with much the same groggy state as he did not long ago.
"Morning Kankurou." said gaara in a stonicly as he took his seat by naruto, but the look on the darkhaird boy's face showed that gaara rarely or if all greeted him in the mornings.
not bothering to say anything, until he got the bigger picture. (read waits until temari is there to explain things to him.)
the next person to walk in was the person in question, Temari was not a morning person, gaara himself knew to keep his distance in the morning as temari had to listen to Kankurou's late night anime shows being played above a reasonible level. even now the aura that rolled off her said one thing. 'be quite until i have my cup of coffee.'
while the sibblings knew their sister's morning persona, Naruto on the other hand did not, which resulted in...
"GOOD MORNING SANDY-CHAN!" naruto greeted cheerfully, and much to the crinch of the other two boys present as seeing the violent twitching of temari's eyebrow, or the tic mark that seemed to grow faster than weeds.
"Morning... naruto." came temari's irritated reply. "and my Name is T-E-M-A-R-I not Sandy."
"I'm calling you sandy. you live in the desert, and your... cute." naruto said he felt embarassed calling the first girl he met cute.
blushing, temari felt a warm feeling in her chest when she heard his reason.
"thank you." she said softly as she took the cup of coffee from the blonde.
"its nothing." the boy said as he rubbed the back of his head in embarassment. being compalmented by a cute girl like temari, or anyone other than his Jiji, made him feel better about himself. "so what's planned for today?"
"nothing really, Father and Hokage-sama, are finalizing the treaty, and will be done in around noon, which will mean that you will be leaving shortly after." said the boy with dark hair, as he ate his breakfast. "until than... i dont really know."
after a moment of silence, naruto came up with a great idea. (in his mind anyway)
"hey, you guys wannna pull a prank?" naruto asked as his grin was similiar to his grandfather, this sent a wave of dread down many of the Anbu back in Konoha as they knew some poor shinobi were now the targets of the prankster king from hell, as they bowed their heads in honor of the soon to be humilitated. the Dune shinobi felt the wave run down their spines, like an in coming storm was brewing, watching... and waiting until it was too late.
-later that morning-
if one was walking the dusty streets of Suna, they would see four blurs dashing across the streets and roof tops, as they were being fallowed by a great deal of dune and chunin.
"does anyone know, how four children manged to paint the kazekage tower... in Broad daylight with civilian and active ninja roaming the streets undiceted until it was completely painted Orange and Blue?!" asked the Dune with the Jackle mask.
"we do not have an answer sir." said the dune with a fish mask.
"-sigh- forget it, just get them!" said jackle as they kept jumping roof tops.
as they ran pass coffee shop to catch the four troublemakers, they didnt notice that their four targets were sitting at a table. each hiding behind Suna's weekly Newspaper.
after they left, Naruto was the first to peak over the paper.
"see told ya, that was fun." he said as he gain a nasty but an amused look from temari, a stonic look form gaara, but the tiniest of smiles could be seen. kankurou just had a cocky grin on his face as he let out a small string of chuckles. "oh, we better start moving, they should be doubling back right about...Now!"
before the sand siblings could make a run for it, they were surrounded by three dune shinobi and seven chunin, while the other group chased after naruto.
"the children of the Kazekage, i would never would have thought you would cause such trouble." said Jackle in a disappointed tone, only to get blindsided by neon pink paint that blinded him and the other shinobi for a moment, when they gained their senses, the noticed that the three children were gone. "spread out and find them!"
as the took off in different dircetions, naruto and crew were found hiding on the other side of the street in three barrels, with gaara and kankurou each in their own barrel and naruto and temari sharing theirs. much to slight discomfort of the two blondes, as temari sat in naruto's lap with atomic blush across her checks. it didnt help that that she was facing towards him either as teal green stared into azure blue.
it did not last long as the four were picked out of thier barrels by the dune shinobi. while sabaku children had some diginity, Naruto looked like a frighten animal curling inwards as he hung his head.
-Kazekage's office-
while the four stood infront of the Kazekage and the Hokage, the sabakus hung their heads in shame at disapointing their father, minus gaara. Naruto had some decency to look sheepish infront of the hokage. behind them where the six members of the Dune shinobi, each covered in Neon pink, orange, or blue.
"Dune, you all dismissed." the Kazekage said in serious tone as he glare at them for a moment, which they obeyed gladly.
ater a moment of silence that hung in the air, it was ended by a laughter coming from the Kazekage as he sat at his desk laughing, for the children this was the first time ever that they heard thier father laugh uncontrolably.
"that is by far, THE best prank i have ever seen." said the kazekage in light humor. "so who's idea was it?"
after glancing back and forth between themselves, Naruto slowly and hestently stepped forward.
"Boy, you have some telant. i bet you pull all kinds of pranks dont you?"
"yes, sir. even ask Jiji, i pull a pank at lest..."
"two pranks a week at most." said the old man dryly as he gave a deadpan look to the boy in good humor. "Prankster king from hell, i do believe you are called among some of the Anbu."
"eh-eh." came the embarassed giggle form the blonde boy.
"well I am pleased to say, that we are done with terms of the new treaty between our villages. so in about nine years or so, temari you will be going to Konohagakure to meet up with young naruto, and if you two... get along. than you two shall be married, if both are over the age of sixteen or become chunin. until than it will be courting." said the Kazekage as he turned to the old man. "Hokage-dono, until we met again. have a safe travel."
-flashback End.-
"has it been nine years already?" naruto asked himself out loud as he took in how beautiful temari had become, while she was taller than sakura, she was still slightly shorter than naruto by two or three inches. he also noticed the large iron fan that she carried around her waist. 'note to self, make sure Xiao Fung does not see the fan.'
"indeed it has, foxy-kun. but we are here to drop off suna's applacations for the up coming Chunin exams that are six months from now." temari said with a small kind smile on her face.
their small moment came to an end with naruto saw a small stone flying toward his fellow blonde, reacting quickly naruto flared his earth element to life and stopped the stone form harming temari. seeing the stone's source of origin he saw sasuke uchiha sitting in the tree with scowle on his face.
naruto match the uchiha's scowle with one of his own as he used the Moon and Earth elements to make the rock heavier and made it fly faster through the air nailing the uchiha into his... mini-gans, while making him fall out of the tree cradling his now dusted raisens.
"Watch it, Uchiha. Remember it is I that determines if you can do anything above simple C-rank missions, also it you continue to act as such, i will order the Hokage to have you pulled from the shinobi forces, and have your chakra and bloodline sealed away for as long as you live." naruto said with an edge in his voice. "do i make myself clear?"
the KI that flowed off of him was enough to make the others sweat.
"Yes, Uzu-ryoshu-sama." Sasuke said with much distain as he felt sick form saying those words.
"good, Now run along and masterbate to your brother's picture in your closet." Naruto said off handedly as he wave the uchiha off. "or something Sas-gay, i mean Sas-Uke, i mean Sasuke. damn there is so much insults to your name, maybe your mommy and daddy didnt love you that much if they pick your name out."
gaining a tic-mark on the back of his head at being insulted by the blonde, he knew he couldnt say or do anything unless he wanted to risk his career and or life. this caused him to simply leave.
"Onii-sama, i see you have surpast your goal and became a daimyo instead of a kage." gaara said politely as he offered a small bow.
"eh, i'm still counted as a genin in konoha, but for Uzushiogakure i am the lord and kage of the land. plus my cousin is the fire lord. just found that out not long ago." naruto replied as he turned to face the sibblings. "Oh, i guess i should introduce you guys to my in-laws. i blame my grandfather, he made this deal the night i became a genin, old fart passed on before i punch him for it."
this gained a slight hurt look on temari's face, before she heard the last part. she had heard where daimyos or ryoshus taking on more than a single wife, and since naruto was an uzumaki he would have to take on the minium of six wives in order to repopulate his clan. she was taken out of her musing my the closeness of her fellow blonde as azure gazed into teal. pink dusted her cheaks as she saw him give a big cheesy smile.
"coming? i bet Bai-chan would just like, maybe Haku-chan too." naruto said with a bit of thoughtfulness in his voice. as he lead the suna trio to the kage tower to drop off the suna appacation forms for the up coming chunin exams.

it turned out that temari and Bai Tza got along fine, for the most part as they had many of the same likes, dislikes, and hobbies. Bai kinda felt a sping of jealously when it came that temari and naruto were engaged before her and naruto. but that was swept under the rag, as temari and Haku held each other almost at knife point since Haku was fine with Naruto and Bai, she was not fine with a certent blonde and pink haird females. only reason haku was respectiful towards Bai was because her Hyoton bloodline was useless against her control of all things made of water. so Water, Ice, and Mist were out of the question when sparrring against her, that and the fact she was well versed in Fuinjutsu. who took it upon herself to teach her darling little husband-to-be.
Temari could see that the Haichioni family were protective of naruto, none more so than Bai Tza for oblivious reasons, the next was Tchang Zu; who hide his under the visage of being rude or uncarring toward those around him, but from what she had heard from the wave mission, he would become a true demon incarnate, the next was obliviously Dai Gui, while at first glance he would seem like a brute and mean person, but after talking to the man, she learnd that while he had a simple way of talking, he had a kind but fair heart. Next was Shendu, she would compair him to how councilours acted with the kages or daimyos as he had a sly way of talking, then there was Tso Lan; she could say he was actual more the older brother than tchang with his mature out look and mannerism. Po Kung she had to say was enthusiastic about food, cooking or anything to deal with kitchen work... other than the dishes. Hsi Wu; she found to be how naruto was when they were younger, he was very energentic and seemed to be always on the move. than there was Xiao Fung... she disliked him form his more than upfront way of speaking pervertedly or his need for 'Entertainment' as he put it, that was until she found out from naruto that he was a big gambler, while he sounded perverted it was mostly due to his sly nature of being in casios and other gambling estatblishments. than she ment Zabuza Momochi the famed Demon of the Mist, the once great bodyguard to the royal line of Uzushio, back in his former status, as he held himself with great pride at being his master's bodyguard... just dont make fun of his Icha icha collection.
she was surpised at how the mansion like home became a family enviroment with the Haichioni family, the Momochi family(Zabuza and Haku) and finally naruto as they acted like a close family. much like how her's had after meeting naruto. her father slowly but surely started to come home earlier and spend time with them, more so with gaara as he was the one that need the most since his 'big brother' had left. she was fairly happy with her life than, but now meeting up with naruto after all these years, she could say she was happy her father made that treaty, she wanted to become part of this ever growing family, gaara did as well. on more than one occasion he had said he cant wait to for temari and his Onii-sama to be married that way they could literly become brothers. much to the dismay of kankoruo, while gaara refered him as nii-san, he never refered him a onii-sama like he did with naruto.
but all good this must come to an end as there was a knock at the front door.
"this better not be a council summoning." naruto said with sparks rolling off of him.
"No, Uzu-ryoshu-sama. Hokage-sama as requested that you come to his office at once, as this is an emergency." said the Racoon Anbu.
"Mission, Rank and Status." naruto said seriosly as he motioned for those in the house to fallow.
"Team Gai (9) mission was a high C rank, but unforeseen events has risen the rank to a low A maybe even a Mid A rank, depending. Status right now is pused waiting for back up, and since team 7 is..."
"Grounded."
"yes, the only team capable of moblization as of now, is team 13."
"fine, tell me about the terrian, what am i to suspect?"
"mostly mountians and rocky land scapes."
"alright. Shendu, Bai-chan, and tso lan-sensei. you're coming with me." said naruto as he opened a Kagehodo(shadow walkway), for him and his team to travel to the hokage's tower. "Sorry Sandy-chan, i will be back as soon as i can. Tcang-nii, look after her. and make sure the council does not do anything with out my say."
"tch, whatever, just go brat." Tchang said in a snear, but most could tell he would fallow his younger brothers orders, he waited until all but Shendu had left. "Shendu, make sure the keep him safe, or i will skin you alive."
glupping at the threat, shendu could only nod his head, as he quickly made his way into the Kagehodo as it closed behind him.
"nervous am i, fearing the same as wave. i do." said Dai gui as they could see the slight changes on his skin from flesh to rock.
"I am worried as well brother, but Naruto will make it through, so long as 'it' does not take over again." said Hsi wu as his tail popped out waving nervously back and forth behind him.
"what happen in wave?" Po kung asked looking to brothers.
"the dark aspect took control for a moment. and he became what we once were." said Tchang as he felt something for the first time in his life... guilt, guilt for being the demonic lord he once had been, but with naruto as his little brother he would gladly say he would never regret becoming his older brother.
"Why were we not informed of this?" said Xiao as he gain a displeased look and his wide mouth became a deeo frown.
"... because he almost died before it happened, he manged to save himself, if barely as he used shendu's horse talismen to heal the gapping hole in his chest, but at the time he was forced into his mindscape, letting 'it' out. he took vengence out on those that almost killed young haku, and even took back some of his old family land while doing so." said tchang as he sat down, he was gonna wait until his little brother got back... he didnt know that it would be a week of waiting as naruto had left the hokage's office and went to rescue team gai. "be safe, brother."

Sorry for the late update, as many know i am writing other stories as well, plus some desmetic problems.
so i do not know when the next update is going to be. again sorry, just know i will not be abandoning any of my stories.
