EPILOGUE

KAIDOU

At the same evening, after the events on the court and in the school, Kaidou wasn't able to go jogging at nighttime... when he got home he decided immediately to go into his room and watched his favorite DVD "The Arctic Continent ~Polar Bear's Ecology~" to calm down, but when he entered the living room, his family planed something. "Ahh Kaoru-chan! Your timing is perfect! We want to visit the public pool on weekend, what did you think?" his mother asked gently...

"P-POOL?! AHHHHH!" He screamed and ran into the cellar... it was dark and when he heard the noise of something dropping... the smell of metal, which came from the old pipes caused a vibration there: "The walls will close!" he said running back. " Ahhhhhhh!" and got into his room "Fhuuu... Calm, everything is over..."

After that day Kaidou wasn't able to visit publics pools anylonger, he avoided small shower cabines, because the incidents caused him a claustrophobia . As if that wasn't enough, every time when he met randomly Karupin or another similar cat, he totally freaked out and ran away, shouting: "A MONSTER! AHHH IT WILL EAT ME!" or passed out and fall on the ground... - Poor Kaidou, will he ever be able again to play with his kohai's little cat?

MOMOSHIRO

Momo was very hungry. It was already late, when they left the school, so he was heading home to eat something. " That was a very weird dream..." He thought out loud "And it is even weirder we all had it..."

He touched his head with his hand. Suddenly on his way home he saw a black figure, rushing from the left to the right side. "What... was that?! It isn't possible, it isn't...!" He screamed inside and his body began to tremble again. "It was just a dream... just a -" At the same moment he heard a weird "Mooooo Moooo" it sounded really strange, like the voice that came out of nowhere at the court in 'the other world'.

"AHHHHHH!" he screamed and ran away. On the other side, behind the wall, where the black figure vanished, Kamio was jogging fast in his black sport suit. While running he passes an old grandma who was searching for her little kitten "MOOOO MOOO! Where are you?" she exclaimed.

TEZUKA and FUJI

Tezuka and Fuji were walking home together, after that crazy day they had. Each of them was in their own thoughts about the 'dream' or whatever it was. After a while they started talking about the classes: "Ah! Tezuka did you finished the English essay?"Fuji asked just to make a conversation "Hai." answered the always serious Tezuka. Fuji said "Mhhh, I see." in his usual calm way.

"Ne Tezuka..." His friend turned his head to his direction.
"What is it Fuji?" he asked puzzled.
"You think like me... This wasn't a dream at all, right?"
- Tezuka silenced and gazed at the ground.
"Thank you for trying to comfort me, when I went insane..."

With a smile on his face, both walked a while, when they saw on the path red spots like drops of a liquid... It looked a lot like blood. They didn't said anything, but keep walking faster. "

"What was that?" Fuji whispered to his friend while fast walking.
"I don't know but let us get fast home..." His friend suggested. While passing the liquid, Fuji slipped and almost fell to the ground, but Tezuka grabbed him before that hapened.

Because of the shock and fear Fuji's eyes opened wide and when Tezuka hold him in his arms, they looked into each others eyes for just a moment. Then seigaku's prodigy put his hand on the buchous shoulder and stand up. "Thanks." he said and they were going to continue walking, but when he noticed the red colour on Tezuka's shirt a cold shiver ran down his back.

"T-that is blood..." he spluttered. The irritated boy took a look on his shoulders and the color of his face turned into blue.

Far away, Kabaji, who was carring a bucket with red color, for Atobes new hobbyroom, could hear screams from his known opponents.

"Be carefull, don't spill it, Kabaji!" Atobe yelled. "Usu!"

After running away from the red liquid, without knowing that it wasn't blood, Tezuka and Fuji decided to keep silence about what happened to them and their reaction.

OISHI and KIKUMARU

Instead of going directly to their homes, the golden pair went to the container. There, they were just watching the stars. Both thought about the horribly things they had seen in that 'other world'.

"Hmmm... today wasn't fun at all nya~!" Eiji was the first, who said something after a while. "Aa, you are right, Eiji" His friend answered.
"Nee, Oishi...I was scared nya~." Eiji looked down and Oishi took his hand on jis partners back: "Don't worry it is all over now, whatever it was... If you want we can come over my place. We could watch some DVD's together, to calm a little bit down. What do you think?" Oishi offered to his catboy-friend.

"Hai nya~!" Eijis mood turned positive after hearing that.
"My sister bought the a new movie, we were talking about it earlier!"
"Sounds great!" Oishi answered but then they heard a rustle from the trees and the bushes behind the container...

"... D-did you hear that?" Eiji asked, starting to get scared.
"Y-yes.. B-but it must be just the wind." his friend answered without confidence. The noises got louder and louder. And now really scared, the golden pair got down the container really fast and thinking about to head to Eiji home, when they suddenly saw a trail of a red liquid on the ground...

"O-oishii-!" Kikumaru shouted and jumps on Oishis arms. "There must be a logical explanation for that, Eiji!" he stammered. "Nyaaaa~ and what is it?!" The scared boy put his arms around his friend's neck. "I don't know but-"

"Why did you stop speaking?!" Kikumaru asked panicky. Oishi was only pointing his finger ito the direction of the fence at the slope. A cattish animal covered with "B-blood..." appeared. "AHHHH!" Kikumaru roared crying while entwining Oishi.

With Kikumaru on his hands, he ran as fast as he could down the hill.

When Atobe reached one of his plenty private clubhouses, for delivering the red color for his hobby room, Kabaji suddenly noticed, that the bucket had a hole... "Don't tell me you didn't noticed that earlier, Kabaji?" Atobe asked is friend a little bit pissed of. "N-no ... sorry..."

INUI

Inui was walking home in a calm pace. Writing some stuff in his green notebook. Being a dream or not, he surely got "ii data" so said out loud. It was already dark so he quickened his speed to get home at of sudden, he heard soft foot steps and the bushes he passed, began to rustle. For a moment he looked back, but couldn't see anything and decided to continue walking. "Fuji freaks out when he sees blood... probability : 87,65%... data, data, data..." He muttered while writing more data in his notebook.

After a few steps, the bushes and trees began to rustle with more force. He didn't have any data about a storm today. So he began to walk faster. Forgetting about to continue writing, Inui almost stumbled over a little stone and his pen fell to the ground. The moment he wanted to pick it up, a black shadow appeared in front of his head. Moving his head slowly upwards he saw... A BIG shadow with the form of cat.

"R-rikutsu janai" It has to be a trick of light, because there were no giant cats. At that moment he practically started running toward his home. But the steps he heard before followed him... "This isn't good! Probability, that a giant cat could exist in our world: 0,73%... Probabilty to end as it's cat food: 120%!" He shouted while running for his life. When he reached the red light at the crossroads, his old doubles partner Renji Yanagi was going to say "Hello! Sada..." but before he could finish his sentence, Inui was already 50 meters away.

"Why is he running that fast? It's really unusual... for that guy. Moreover, why is cat grass sticking on his shoes?"

KAWAMURA

Kawamura was walking home, hardly thinking about the weird day he had. At fist he thought it was a dream, but now he wasn't so sure anymore. The trees were rustling. "Maybe a storm is coming" But then he heard an "Usu" from far away. That deep bass voice became suddenly silent. Taka-san's legs began to shake a bit, when he remembered the "Kabaji-shadow-thing" in his dreams who shot voilent with tennis balls at him and his friends. A cold shiver ran down his back and he swallowed loudly.

"T-this has to be the real Kabaji!" He said to himself. On his way home he saw a red liquid on the ground. "Daijoubu! Daijoubu!" He tried to calm down, but the puddles in red color became bigger and bigger. He tried to stay calm and keep walking. But the red liquid on the ground was still on his way home. He was almost running when he turned his head for a second to the right side along the blood trail, it was

"KABAJI?!" The scared Taka-san shouted. Without looking back, he crashed into a gardener. The gardeners manure fork felt into Kawamura's right hand. "BUURNIING! C'MON SHADOW! I'M NOT SCARED OF YOU! WUAAAAAA!" he roared and started to run into Kabajis direction. While running he slipped on the red liquid. His face hit the ground, and his hand released the fork. "W-w-what happend?" he asked himself. When he recognized the 'blood' covered his body he shouted like a girl and passed out.

ECHIZEN

Ryoma walked home alone for once because it was already late and Momo wanted to go home directly, just like him, because he was dead tired of the day events. First they saw a Kaidou copy, then they were transported to another world, he drowned and had to play a dead match with a shadow.

Dream or not, he was tired and only wanted to go to bed, so he was walking at a high pace till he finally reached his home. His father was playing with Karupin infront of the living room door while reading some pervert magazines. "Tada ima..." Ryoma said and entered the house. Nanako shouted from the kitchen: "Ah Ryoma-san, you are late,something happened?"

"Nothing..." The boy answered. Then he went up stairs all he wanted was a really long bath. Then dinner with his parents and Nanako like always.

After dinner he went to his room, on his bed was Karupin, like always. But today it was a bit different. "K-karupin...?" Ryoma said hesitating a bit. "Waraa" answered Karupin to his name being called and got close slowly.

"I know it was just a dream... you never could be like..." The boy stopped speaking after he saw a red glimmer in his cat's eyes. Ryoma's body frozed for a moment. "Ka-karupin?!" He whispered and jumped out of his bed to the wardrobe at the other side of the room with his back to the wall. Somehow he ended up inside his closet. And it was dark there. Just when he decided to leave, something, like a hand, touched his shoulder. At the momtent he was trying to open the closets door, the doorknob broke off.

"Uaah...Shimattaaaa!" Ryoma yelled panicky, but the 'hand' was still touching his shoulder and moved slowly down his back. Closing his eyes he stood there unmoving for a few seconds, the 'hand' still on his back. With trembling hands and breathing hard he tried to force the door to open itself, but it had no effect. The hand changed its direction all of sudden. "W-whaat..." he roared as loud as he could.

Then his cousin ran into his room, she noticed that it was really dark. Only the red-lighted watch on Ryoma's desk was shining. "Ryoma-san! Are you in theret?!" she asked after hearing his knocking. After opening the door with a crowbar, the little boy felt out of the wardrobe. Something was scrabbling on his back.

"KYAAAA MONSTER SPIDER!" Nanako screamed... The boy's eyes were wide opened and he stand up quickly and shook his body to get rid of that thing. Then he saw a huge hole in the wall... Ryoma could see the starry heaven.

"Che..." he said... Only because his lazy-ass father forget to repair the roof leack, so the spider could entered his closet.

After coming down his cousin was still screaming. He turned his head in her direction and only said: "Mada mada 'su ne."
