Summary:Almost 1 year has passed since our heroes'last adventure, ontal Assault. Ratchet and Clank are well,just doing the usual when not fighting crime, kicking back and relaxing. Until someone, or should I rather say, something, makes Ratchet release all the anger inside of him, which brings the beast that's been laying dormant all these years. Suddenly Bounty Hunters, Old foes, and even the Galactic police will be after Ratchet, will Ratchet realize that he's become part of something bigger than himself, or will his feelings get the better of him.

"Sir,what should I do with Clank", Matrix said as it picked up the small unconscious robot.
"lock the disgusting Zoni filth up", Iva said, once again walking his metal body to his mysterious chamber, "now that the only thing that could possibly subdue it's effects on Ratchet is gone,there is no stopping it" A twisted smile spread across his face. "Its only a matter of time...before it completes the takeover process" Iva said, walking into the chamber.
"Affirmative"
"oh,and Matrix,don't interrupt me", closing the chamber doors behind him
Iva Industries Main Research Facility.
"lock it up" Matrix said throwing Clank into the tentacles of a robot who had the same glowing V symbol that Matrix had on his chest.
"yes General Matrix" it replied, turning around toward the hover cells. It put Clank in one of them and hurried to do it daily routine of monitoring all the he suddenly heard a faint "kep" sound come from Clank's he turned around to see what was going on,he saw a small blue metallic bee extracting a white substance from started to fly away once Matrix saw it. Matrix tried to catch it but it missed Matrix's grasp by a few inches fleeing away with the white substance.
Back to Orxon
Ratchet stopped as he came to a dead end."put your hand on the wall", the voice said as soon as Ratchet reached the dead wall opened as he put his hand on it, revealing a small floating orb with blue glowing cravings scribbled all over it. Suddenly Ratchet got a headache as he grabbed the orb, the same voice giving him a message. "only when all four parts are collected will the true enemy show itself ", it also gave Ratchet the location of the first part. Then Ratchet suddenly collapsed on the floor,unconscious. The red and blue spiderbots emerged behind him.
"He seems to have fainted bro", the blue spiderbot said crouching down to examine the Lombax's body. "bro" it repeated when it noticed the red spiderbot hadn't said anything.
"you seeing this bro" the red spiderbot finally responded. The blue spiderbot looked at Ratchet, noticing that the blue orb had turned red while in Ratchet's hand.
"come on bro,let's just get this guy and the artifact"
"yea,lets do that" it replied trying to pry the orb from Ratchet's hand. Only to receive a blow from Ratchet's wrench.
"The hel-" was the olny thing the blue spiderbot could say before it too received a blow from Ratchet's wrench.
"not so tough ya" Ratchet said standing looking down at the downed eye's iris now completely turned blood red.
"screw what Iva said,lets kill this bastard" the red spiderbot said getting up.
"bro,wait" the other said barely getting other was already charging at Ratchet with his chainsaw arm only to miss as Ratchet jumped and flipped over him landing behind him.
"close but no cigar" Ratchet said,flashing a evil grin
"we'll see whose going to be laughing when I decapitate your smartass", the blue spiderbot turned around and swung his blade,which managed to hit something. The sound was not of metal hacking flesh but of metal hitting...metal. "no" the red spiderbot said as it stared at his fallen friend,which he himself had killed. A puddle of oil had started to form under the blue spiderbot. The spiderbot looked around for signs of the Lombax olny to hear only a voice behind him.
"So tell me, can robots feel fear"
"yes" is what it would have said, but then everything went dark.
Zoni Underground Structure 786
A large robot with a blue symbol on it's chest was suddenly turned on followed by one of it's speakers, "corruption signal found,preparing for departure". A horrible screeching sound could be heard after the message.
13 Hours Later
A small squeal could be heard as a door closed. "who is there" a silhouetted humanoid figure said after taking a sip of champagne from the wine glass in his hand.
"just me" the a trashed red spiderbot responded. Coming into the the center of the apartment.
"looks like you finally got a nice beating" the figure said examining the red spiderbot. "what happened?" the figure asked.
"me and my bro were given a mission by this guy named Iva, Who told us to capture this one guy named Ratchet", the spiderbot hesitated. "We followed him to this cave where he fainted, then he pulled all these crazy moves and refluxes and I could have sworn his iris turned a deep red"
"wait what?" the figure said stopping himself right before he took another sip of champagne.
"yea...and he went all crazy on us" the spiderbot said with a voice of realization. "like those people you hunt down.
"hurry and get all the parts you need, then get out of here" the figure said rushing into one of the rooms,Slamming the door behind him.
