Summary:Almost 1 year has passed since our heroes'last adventure, ontal Assault. Ratchet and Clank are well,just doing the usual when not fighting crime, kicking back and relaxing. Until someone, or should I rather say, something, makes Ratchet release all the anger inside of him, which brings the beast that's been laying dormant all these years. Suddenly Bounty Hunters, Old foes, and even the Galactic police will be after Ratchet, will Ratchet realize that he's become part of something bigger than himself, or will his feelings get the better of him.

Orxon, 3 Hours Later

Ratchet woke up near the entrance of the cave, the orb resting peacefully in his hand. As soon as he got up, he is hit with a sudden headache. He gets up to get to his ship,holding his head in pain. He then hears a click in his ear.

"Sir", William said with a worried expression

"William, How are you reaching me?" Ratchet asked

"Well it has been 24 hours,Sir" William replied

"William, I will get there in a minute so in the meanwhile set a course for Metropolis"

"affirmative", William responded

He couldn't tell what it was, but he knew this wasn't going to be easy.

Mysterious Apartment

"What you doing Xet",A slender dark brown Cazar asked while rubbing her eyes.

"Preparing for a mission" Xet responded with

"Just make sure you come back in one piece"

"Goddammit Mina" Xet said while shooting up furiously to face the stunned Czar

"Do you always have to keep on babying me every single time I go outside"

"But Xe-" Mina managed to say before getting slapped by Xet's normal hand

"Just stop acting like you actually give a fuck" Xet shouting while pressing a small button red button on his metallic arm.

"Xet wait!" Mina said while trying to reach for Xet

Xet silently got into the blue and white ship that was now hovering next to then balcony. The lid closing as he sat himself on one of ship zoomed out the area. Mina stood there trying to still process what had just happened.

"Why" Mina whispered while holding her stinging cheek

1 Hour later at Metropolis

The ship landed on one of the many ship pads there. Ratchet jumped out once the ship had finally parked, orb in his hand.

"Do you require any more assistance sir?" William asked

"No" Ratchet responded. Suddenly he was hit with the same sensation that he had experienced with the orb. The orb he was holding started to glow a very light blue glow. Apparently it was telling to go west. Following the directions he had been given, he arrived at a thin metal spiral that extended into the sky. The orb was now flashing a blue glow.

"Up...Up...Up...Up" the voice kept on repeating

"okay, okay" Ratchet said

"Now"

"okay Mr. Bossy" Ratchet said as he started to climb the spiral. After reaching the top, he saw a croissant-shaped piece at the top of the spiral. It had the same writing on it as the orb. He grabbed the croissant-shaped piece from the top of the spiral and put it in his suit's inventory."

William,I'm coming back so -" Ratchet managed to say before getting knocked off the spiral by a blue plasma blast. Ratchet fell screaming but was punched by a metallic fist before he hit the ground. As he got up he saw a tall humanoid robot with blue eyes looking down on him. The robot kicked Ratchet in the stomach.

"I need a weapon" Ratchet mumbled while grabbing his stomach in pain. Upon hearing this, a piece of his suit constructed itself into a pistol which flung itself into the air and landed in front of Ratchet. Ratchet grabbed the pistol and shot a series of plasma bolts at the chest of robot. The robot was hit multiple times, one the shots hit it in the chest. The robot fell and the light of it's eyes faded away. Ratchet got up, holding his stomach in pain,a small grin on his face.

"Must destroy all signs of the corrupted " the robot said, getting up with lighting quick speed and then opening his mouth. Ratchet stared in fear as the robot prepared to make it's next move.

(P.S better go refill your chip bowl)

The robot yelled loudly, causing Ratchet to drop his weapon and cup both his ears in agony. Ratchet stumbled onto the ground, still cupping both of his ears, fainting as he hit the floor. He then woke up in the a white room covered about a tenth of the way with static material.

Looks like someone could use some help" it whispered. Ratchet instantly recognized the voice along with the conversation he had had with it.

"who are you, answer me with a logical answer this time" Ratchet said while taking a few steps forward.

"like I said, just another friend, now stand still will you" The static material then wrapped around Ratchet. Ratchet began to feel weak, he felt himself lose control of his body"

"Get out of my head" Ratchet said trying to grab his head, only to realize he no longer had control over his arms.

"Just relax and let all my power drain into you"

"Neve-" Ratchet managed to say before he lost control of his vocal cords

"I'm in control now" The voice said, finally seizing full control of Ratchet's brain.

The robot stopped screaming and walked over to Ratchet, raised it's foot, and then brought it down. The robot looked down only to find out that it had only hit the floor. When it looked up, it saw that the Lombax it had been fighting showed no signs of his wounds effecting him. Ratchet's brown stripes had turned a black, his eye's iris had turned red. The lombax picked up the pistol, flashing a grin, revealing that most of his front teeth had grown sharp.

"This is going to be fun"...

To be honest I didn't really expect to make it this far, Especially from a idea I got almost 3 years ago while playing "A Crack in Time". I personally would like to thank Foenix Nightshade who been there since the since the first chapter of the of original story, for honestly reviewing on each chapter of my sloppily written story. Along with everybody else who decided to even click on my story ,favorite it, and even follow it. I am working on other projects that include Minecraft, Jak and Daxter, and Attack on Titan. Don't worry Part II will come soon enough(hopefully). Now for the usually ending thingy
