Summary:Almost 1 year has passed since our heroes' last adventure, full frontal Assault. Ratchet and Clank are well, just doing the usual when not fighting crime, kicking back and relaxing. Until someone, or should I rather say, something, makes Ratchet release all the anger inside of him, which brings the beast that's been laying dormant all these years. Suddenly Bounty Hunters, Old foes, and even the Galactic police will be after Ratchet, will Ratchet realize that he's become part of something bigger than himself, will his feelings get the better of him.

Chapter 6:Overwhelmed
Overwhelmed-To overpower or overcome with superior force;destroy;crush
Ratchet ran over to the robot and then jumped on it's back,putting his wrench against it's neck and then he pushed back. It's head came off as Ratchet's wrench tore though it's neck, it's body falling straight down. The blue lights running across it's bodies turned off as it's body hit the floor. A evil smile spread across his face, his sharp teeth showing. Suddenly a blue X appeared in the sky over the tall buildings of the city. Ratchet decided to check it out because it interested him, that and the sound of sirens approaching. When he finally made it to the top, the X had begun to dissipate.
"hello" A person that closely resembled a physical structure similar to that of Captain Qwark, except he smaller and each of his hands had five fingers. His black hair stood up in a spiky formation and one of hands was competely made up of metal. Most of his body was covered in black metal with blue lights running across it, He had a competely black chestplate with a blue X on it.
"What the hell are you" Ratchet said", taking out his wrench once again.
"Thats not really any of your business,is it" the stranger said before launching himself at Ratchet with a speed that caught Ratchet off guard. Ratchet blocked the stranger's metal fist with his wrench before it was able to make contact with his body. The stranger quickly overpowered Ratchet and then sent him flying into a building window. Ratchet smashed into the window, fury and confusion quickly building up. He quickly got up, a static force field growing around him.
"You'll pay for that you motherf-" ,was all Ratchet was able to say before getting kicked across the room by the metal boot of the stranger, the force field shattering in the process. Ratchet formed another static force field around himself.
"i'll crush you" Ratchet said as the force field moved from his body and speed toward the stranger. The stranger put his metal hand up, revealing a opening. A blue plasma blast was quickly shot out of it. It tore through the static force field with ease. Ratchet stood speechless, confused that this person that appeared out of nowhere was beating him so easily. Anger quickly overtook him and he launched himself at the stranger, only to have his wrench hit empty air. The stranger appeared a few feet behind him with his metal arm leveled at Ratchet.
"By the way, the name is Xet X" he said before a stream of blue plasma came out of the opening in his metal arm. Ratchet was hit in the chest and was sent hurling out of the building and falling to the ground. As Ratchet fell, his stripes started to turn brown and his iris started to turn green. All Ratchet was able to hear before he hit the floor was a faint whisper from the mysterious voice.
"how..."
