Annabeth

I slowly open my eyes, and blink to get the morning blurriness out of them. I roll over and look at my alarm clock, 7:30, it reads. I woke up 30 minutes before my alarm today. I never wake up before my alarm. I cautiously stand up and begin to run a brush through my unruly mess of curls. By the time I throw my hair into a pony-tail and put on my turquoise bikini top with my gold and white stripped string bottoms, turquoise tank top, jean short-shorts and turquoise flip flops it's 7 and I head downstairs to start making breakfast. I open the front door let the sunshine come in, grateful to see that it looks to be a nice day. At 7:30, when I'm just finishing making pancakes for breakfast, Matthew and Bobby stumble down the stairs, obviously coaxed out of bed with the smell of the pancakes. "Morning," I greet them.

"Morning, Annabeth," they mumble in unison.

"How many?" I ask them both, gesturing to the freshly cooked pancakes.

"Five," they reply, again in unison. Did I mention my brothers eat as much as NFL players? I nod and turn to make more pancakes.

"Good morning," a deep, sexy voice calls from the doorway. I don't have to turn around to know who it is.

"Morning, Percy," I say, without looking over my shoulder. Suddenly I feel strong arms wrap around me and am immediately hit with the heavenly smell of Percy.

"Those pancakes smell amazing, Annabeth," So do you, I think against my better judgement. Stop Annabeth! I mentally scold myself. "mind sharing?" Percy finishes. I simply nod, my thoughts to scrambled to be able to form words. Percy releases me and I finally turn around to look at him. Damn he looks good, I think in my head. He's wearing a tight dark green t-shirt with jet black swim trunks to match his hair. Percy smirks, as if he knows I was checking him out, and goes to sit with my brothers at the kitchen table, who are looking at us like we're from a foreign planet. I finish making the pancakes and serve them to the boys. I take a hurried step back as they all try to lunge for the plate full of pancakes at the same time. "Save some for me!" I commanded them, not wanting to miss out on breakfast. It's happened before. Once my brothers and Percy are done grabbing their pancakes, I sit down and start to make my plate.

"Want to eat outside?" I ask Percy, scared of what embarrassing things my brothers would tell him if they got the chance to. He nods and picks up both of our plates, like the gentleman he is, and begins to walk towards the front door.

We sit down on the porch swing and begin to dig in. We eat in silence for the most part, to busy stuffing our faces to talk much. When we finish eating around 7:45 Percy takes our plates inside, and comes back out to sit by me. We sit side by side, so close that our arms are touching. He takes my hand and plays with the gold wraparound feather ring I have on today, to match my gold feather earrings, necklace and belly button ring. He looks up to meet my eyes and all the sudden I can't breath. It feels like someone sucked all of the air off planet Earth.

"Annabeth..." He begins. Felling a sudden rush of courage, I lean in and close my eyes. He meets me in the middle and our lips meet in sweet but passionate kiss. Fireworks explode behind my eyes and I feel as if I'll faint. After what feels like two, but was probably more like 30 seconds, Percy pulls away and stares in to my eyes. Green on grey. I feel as though he's looking past my eyes and into my soul. I'm left breathless and still struggling to breath when he says,

"Will you be my girlfriend?" Looking nervous, also struggling for breath. I nodded, to excited for words, as a huge smile breaks out across my face. Percy is positively beaming and takes my face in his large, strong hands, and pulls me in for another kiss. The second kiss is just as spectacular as the first, the fireworks not dulled in the slightest. This time I pull away, knowing that if we don't get going now we'll be late to meet my friends at the beach. "We better go," I told him, doing nothing to hide my disappointment in having to end our special moment together. He gives me a sly smile and nods, grabbing my hand as he stands and pulls me to my feet. Suddenly I hear laughing, coming from inside the house. "Oh my god, I'm going to kill them." I say under my breath. Percy just chuckles and kisses my cheek in an effort to calm me down.

"Matthew! Bobby!" I yell at them, mad at them for intruding on my privacy. I hear them laugh louder as I storm through the front door and into the living room, dragging Percy in by the hand. "Blackmailllllll" Bobby sings as Matthew waves his smartphone in my face, no doubt having recorded the whole thing. I send both of them a blistering glare. To mortified to react I move on, promising revenge in my head. "Me and Percy are going to the beach. We'll be back by six. Do not dirty this house or I will have both your necks, understood?" I said, still glaring at them. They nodded, having the decency to look scared now. They know by now that me not reacting to them is 10x worse than me blowing up in their faces. I turn around and march out of the the front door, still clasping Percy by the hand.

"Annabeth..." He says, tugging on my hand to get me to stop. I turn to face him and am met with a small, comforting kiss.

"It'll be okay," Percy assures me, tucking my fly away hairs that have escaped my ponytail behind my ear. I step into his strong embrace, and nod into his shoulder, breathing in his scent. After a few moments he pulls away and moves to open the door of his truck for me. I slid I'm and offer him a small smile, so happy that we're finally together.

We pull up to the beach at 8:15, 15 minutes before everyone else is due to arrive. Percy once again opened my door for me and helped me out of his tall truck. Once I was out, we started waking hand in hand to a small café on the beach. We nabbed a table for two by the window where we could easily see my friends when they arrived. Percy pulled out my seat for me and I flashed him a grin, loving the fact that he's such a gentleman. He smiled back and move to take his own seat on the other side of the table. A waitress quickly came over and set down two menus on our table. "Oh, we're not here to eat," I told her. She nodded and asked us what we would like to drink. "I'll have orange juice please," I said.

"Make that two, please," added Percy. The waitress nodded once again and told us she'd have those right out. I caught Percy's eye and he offered me another smile. I smiled back and began to lay out who all he was going to be meeting today. "Today you'll meet, Silena, her boyfriend Charlie, Juniper, her boyfriend Grover, the Stoll twins, Conner and Travis, Luke and Thalia, who are together by the way." Percy's eyes widened, obviously surprised by all of the people who were coming. "Got all of that?" I asked, laughing at him. He nodded, the smile coming back to his face as he finished he last of his orange juice. I smiled and turned my head to look out the window just in time to see Luke's huge beat up van pull up outside.

"They're here!" I squeal, excited because I haven't seen my friends in a while. Percy smiles once again looking happy purely at the fact that I was happy. I shot him a grin back and pulled him to the front of the café to pay the bill. Percy won the bill argument, once again. This time he won by asking me,"What kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn't pay for my girlfriend?" That made me cave really quickly. After we were done paying the bill in record time, I dragged Percy out to the parking lot to meet my friends. "Thalia, Silena, Juniper!" I exclaimed, dropping Percy's hand to rush over and hug them. They greeted me with just as much excitement. Silena and Juniper then raised their eyebrows at me, obviously about Percy who assuming they saw me holding hands with. Thalia just got a knowing smile on her face and chuckled darkly. "Silena, Juniper, this is my boyfriend Percy, Thalia I'm sure you remember him." I say, introducing Percy who had been patiently waiting for me where I had left him.

"Annabeth!" Silena, Juniper and Thalia all scolded me,"You've been holding out on us!" Silena chilled me. I offered up an apologetic smile and shrugged my shoulders. Percy flashed them a killer smile of his own, and said,"Nice to meet you ladies, good to see you again Thalia." I swear they swooned. I laughed at them as Percy came up behind me and rested his chin on my shoulder,"Are you going to introduce me to everyone else?" Percy asked me, breathing the words in my ear. I shivered and nodded, pulling him towards the boys who were still standing and talking by Luke's van.

"Luke!" I called out to the blonde haired boy who was standing across the parking lot. He turned to face me and a smile lit up his face.

"Hey Annabeth," he shouted back.

"Come on," I said looking back at Percy, who all the sudden seemed a little apprehensive to meet the boys.

"You'll be fine," I go up on my tip toes to whisper in his ear,"they don't bite." He chuckled and nodded his head, giving me permission to drag him over to my friends. Once we were within arms reach of them, Luke pulled me into a hug. I should've probably told Percy that Luke's my cousin before he got the wrong idea. Oops. Luke and I brake our embrace and I turn back to Percy and take his hand. He looked a little miffed but all in all was keeping his composure incredibly well. I offered him a reassuring smile which he returned, thankfully.

"Hello," Luke said while waving his hand in front of my face,"Earth to Annabeth!" I broke out of my chance an slapped Luke on he arm. He chuckled and shied away from my hand. I sent him a blistering glare and began to introduce Percy. "Percy, this is my cousin Luke," I said making sure to emphasize the word cousin. I saw relief flood his face and giggled at him. He looked down at me and gave me a playful glare. "And Luke this is my boyfriend Percy," I said while turning to Luke. They did that little head nod thing that most boys do and said it was nice to meet one another. I then introduced Percy to Grover, Charlie, Connor and Travis and promptly told Percy that he should keep a close eye on his wallet whenever the Stoll brothers were around. Percy laughed and said something about keeping that in mind. By the time all of the introductions were done I was dying to get to the beach.

"Hurry up," I whined to Percy who seemed to have been talking to Luke forever about baseball tryouts. Did I mention Luke's the captain? It's his senior year also, and he's the pitcher. He's quite popular at my school, as you might imagine. "I'm coming, I'm coming." He said looking torn between his excitement to get to the beach and not wanting to be rude to Luke and cut their conversation off.

"We're heading down to the beach," I announced to everyone once I had finally dragged Percy away. They all nodded and promised they'd follow shortly after. Percy and I raced down to where we laid out our towels and stripped down to our swim suits.

"I didn't know you had a belly button ring," Percy says once I take off my tank top.

"Do you like it?" I ask, sauntering over to him and wrapping my arms around his neck.

"I love it," he replied, his voice seemingly dropping a octave lower, a dark look in his eyes. I give him a sly smile and lean in where our lips meet in a fiery kiss. Suddenly, Percy breaks away, picks me up bridal style and runs with me into the ocean, pulling us both under the water.

"Percy!" I shout his name once we both break through the surface of the water. I give him a blistering glare and playfully slap his firm chest.

"What was that for?!" I demand.

He shrugs his shoulders and puts an innocent smile on his face.

"You felt a little warm, I thought you might like to cool off." He explains slowly, still managing to look innocent. I shake my head at him in disapproval and splash him with the salty ocean water. Percy laughs and picks me up by my waist, spinning me around in circles. When he finally sets me back on my feet in the soft sand he pulls my body close to him. I sigh happily as he rests his forehead against mine, staring into my eyes intently. Out of nowhere we're both doused in water.

"Luke!" I shout at him, not even having to turn around to know who it is. I hear all of my friends laughing in the backround, no doubt finding my mortification hilarious. Percy simple laughs and meets my lips with a chaste kiss, effectively taking my mind off of my errant cousin and friends.

I am so terribly sorry for not updating in such a long time, and I thought it would be most unfair to make you wait for Percabeth to get together. Hope you enjoyed this chapter!
