A shout out to my friend whats-her-pen-name, um... venividivici10! That's it! Yeah a shout out to her. She's recently started writing about a book called the Raven Cycle. I would appreciate it (and I'm sure she would too!) if you could just read her story, and maybe leave some constructive criticism?

Thanks!

Mr Flately hurried to the front gate to open it for the head of MI9. "Miss Knight!" he exclaimed. "What an honour! Oh, you look just like Frank's new girlfriend, and that's a compliment!"

Stella laughed nervously. The other agents were all in masks, and trying to stifle giggles.

"I guess Mr Flately is smarter than we give him credit for," remarked Zoe to Frank. He smiled, despite the grave situation. "Come on."

"I cant believe we're doing this," groaned Frank, trailing behind. "Are we really going to ask ROLAND to fight KORPS?"

"When you put it like that, I can see your worry."

"Who's Roland?" asked Minnie with interest.

"A clumsy fool-" she broke off as they entered the classroom.

"Class! Listen up! MI9 have kindly offered to take you on a training course!" called Mr Flately.

"Woah! That is well brill! Are we gonna bust some tunes?" asked Lady J.

"Mr Flately, could I take it from here," whispered Stella. He nodded and she addressed the class. "My name is Miss Knight, I am the head of MI9. In light of our recent-and tragic- losses, we have decided to test your skills to see if you are up for recruitment by MI9. Please step this way."

The kids lined up, chattering. Zoe stared at her classmates, seeing some faces she didn't recognise, some she did. Lady J and her posse went up to her.

"Yo! What's up, my man!" she said, hand held up for a high five. "Nice to see some young people teaching the oldies how to rock!"

Zoe laughed at this, and decided she would definitely befriend Lady J when she got back to school. She high fived her, and led the way out of the classroom, not getting very far, because Rebbecca had stopped and was staring at Mrs King.

"She's STILL here?!" she shrieked. "WHY didn't you tell me?"

"Rebbecca Milestron! Is that you, young lady?!" said Mrs King, shocked.

Zoe mouth dropped open as Mrs King continued.

"What- Are you- Why are you here?" she finally said.

"Uh, we're taking the kids out on a compatibility course, to see if they're qualified for MI9, Miss," replied Rebbecca. Even 8 years after leaving ST Hearts, she still called Mrs King miss. Wow, Mrs King demanded respect.

"Can I come?"

"You see- Wait, what?"

"I've always wanted to see if I qualified for an agent," smiled Mrs King. "It was one of my many dreams... May I come?"

"The more the merrier!" said Zoe cheerfully. This was one she was going to be telling the team! With a pang, she remembered their current situation. It never gets any easier, she thought.

"They're up to something. I can feel it," snapped James, pacing up and down. "I KNOW it."

"Since I am not one to underestimate our enemies, I will check," said Keri, although she truly felt that they were just panicking. She reached over and pulled her bubblegum pink laptop onto her lap. "Do you like my laptop?"

James took one look at it and sighed. He would never get used to the sight of the Mastermind dressed in the latest fashions, with a bubblegum pink laptop on her lap.

Lady J struggled with the bulletproof vest she was given. "Yo, my man, how do wear this thingy?" she asked Zoe.

"Here," Zoe said, turning away from Roland, who had somehow managed to get himself trapped in 2 vests, making it look like he was in a straitjacket. Frank and Mr Flately were struggling to get it off of him. She tugged it in several places, and it fell into place.

Once everyone was ready, Zoe began handing out tazers. They weren't so desperate as to let an untrained person use a gun.

"These can blast up to 2 metres," Stella explained, holding her own up. "Use it to shoot anyone who isn't on our side. Inside the top pocket is your briefing. If anyone gets hurt, come outside, the medics will attend to you," she gestured to the medical experts that had volunteered to come from the hospitals.

Minnie, Mark and Rebbecca each handed a gun to their friends. The 6 of them looked at each other.

This was it. The moment of truth.

Sorry its so short, and late, but I've had a lot going on! I'm starting school! ARGH!
