(A/N: Hey I'm really, really, super sorry about not updating but I'm gonna let you know why that is and why I might be slow to update the next chapters. My grandmother is losing her battle with cancer and everything is very hectic right now. So I ask that you please be understanding and don't get too upset when I don't update as frequently right now.
On a happier note, here is the next chapter, it is pretty much me dealing with my romantic/sexual frustration and I hope you all enjoy this fluffy/smut.)
WARNING: THIS CHAPTER HAS MATURE SHIT IN IT, NOT EXPLICIT BUT IF YOU DON'T LIKE THAT STUFF JUST SKIP IT!
Hermione didn't bother to knock, every house was celebrating the weekend, even if Gryffindor won all four houses held parties after quidditch games like the one they had seen earlier that day. The room was warm, but that was normal, unlike the rest of the castle this room held the heat in. She shrugged off the heavy cloak, dropping it onto a counter by the door. With a wave of her wand the taps turned on, filling the swimming pool sized tub with steaming hot water, with another wave soap dumped into the tub, large amounts of sweet smelling lilac bubbles filling the tub, their scent filling the whole room.
After getting her hair products set out on the counter she unbuttoned the thick cardigan sweater, underneath she had a short sleeved white buttoned down shirt, the had recently started allowing short sleeved shirts as part of the uniform, but they were still made of the same thin, nearly translucent white material. Needless to say the girls at Hogwarts had quickly perfected a charm that fixed that issue. She was loosening the tie, her forefinger pulling it loose.
She'd been so lost in thought, not really thinking of anything in particular but letting her mind wander for once, she jumped and spun around when she heard the door slam shut.
Draco nearly swallowed his tongue at the sight before him. The way her skirt fluttered and skimmed her thighs as she turned, how her hair flipped over her shoulder, the smell of lilac filling the room. If he wasn't already thinking of her, he was now.
"D-Draco? You scared me!" Draco smirked, she didn't realize she was yell/shrieking. His apology consisted of a weak shoulder shrug.
Hermione felt rather awkward now, she desperately wanted to sink into the bath but now Draco was there. Just because their relationship was more intelligence and understanding than physical didn't mean that neither had thought about the physical aspects of a relationship as strong as theirs. Draco wasn't feeling nearly as awkward, he'd never admit it to her for fear of being hexed, but he'd come here for some privacy, something he couldn't get with the drunken Slytherin students back in his dorm. And he knew fully that this privacy would lead to ungentlemanly thoughts about the brilliant witch in front of him. What were the odds that she'd be here, like some sweet surprise.
"Well, um… I guess I'll see you sometime later." Hermione struggled to get out, moving towards the door, forgetting her sweater and cloak. Draco was quick, his arm snagged her waist as she tried to walk past him.
"Why are you leaving?" he asked, knowing full well her overactive mind wouldn't notice anything while she was so frazzled, clearly she was at a loss for words.
"I…I… You played a game today, you need a bath more than I do." She finally choked out.
"So what your saying is, I stink?" he teased her, enjoying the way she tried to amend her statement.
"No….no just that you're probably sore and tired and…" she trailed off, even she wasn't quite sure why this was making her so flustered.
"Or… you could stay." He suggested, quirking an eyebrow. He could see the emotions flash in her eyes; confusion, realization when she understood what he was implying, and then a bit of fear, no not fear, hesitation. He could see it in the way her jaw set, determined, she wanted to stay, to see where this led, but that didn't mean she wasn't frightened about where this might lead.
He pulled her against him, wrapping his arms around her waist, his palms flat on her back. He could almost feel the nervousness buzzing around inside her. He wanted her to relax. He gave her a kiss on the lips, a quick peck, before pulling away. After the quidditch game he'd dressed back into his uniform, black pants and a white buttoned shirt with his tie; he saw no point in the rest of the uniform. He turned away from her, easily slipping the tie off, in quick movements he unbuttoned his shirt and dropped his pants, the pile of his clothes growing with each second.
Hermione tuned, fearing that he would also take off the boxers. But she didn't hear the fabric his the stone floor, just the sound of his feet walking over to her. She held her breath. He pulled her by her hips back against him, wrapping his arms around her front. She couldn't help leaning back against him, his warmth was almost as intoxicating as his lips.
"Join me when you're ready." He whispered, his lips trailing behind her ear, "I won't look." He promised before leaving her, a few moments later she heard the water splash as he got in. It was quiet for a moment, just the sound of the water as Draco got settled. She turned, noticing how his back was to her, not that she thought he would peak.
She let out a breath, not missing the small laugh from Draco. She shot him a look, not that he could see it. Drawing on her courage she began unbuttoning her top, pulling it from her skirt and letting it fall to the floor, next she unzipped the skirt and let that flutter to the ground as well. She silently thanked Merlin that she was wearing something cute, not her plain white cotton set. She also sent a silent thanks Ginny's way for making her get the cute green set with white polka-dots. It wasn't her usual style but even she thought she looked good in it.
Taking another deep, drawing on her courage, breath she stepped towards the tub, slipping into the warm, bubbly water. She didn't even register the small moan she gave as the warm water soothed her tired, sore muscles. Eyes closed she sunk into the water, feeling the water soak her hair.
It had been physically painful for Draco to keep the promise he made, after her initial sigh he felt compelled to look over his shoulder. When he heard her shirt and skirt flutter to the ground his fingers clutched the marble seat of the tub, itching to be the one that unbuttoned her shirt and unzipped the skirt. It took all of his will power to keep from glancing her way when she moaned at the warmth of the water.
He gave if a few moments before he allowed himself to look. She was up to her shoulders in the water, her eyes closed and her head leaning against the edge of the tub. She opened her eyes and looked towards him, she smiled and he returned it. Draco reached over, grabbing her knee and her waist and pulling her towards him. He didn't stop until her legs were draped over his lap and his arm was wrapped around her shoulders.
Hermione had no control over the nervous giggle that escaped her lips. She blushed at the slightly surprised look she received from Draco.
"What's so funny, Granger?" he asked, tugging her closer till she was sitting on his lap. She continued giggling, trying hard to stifle it as she shook her head.
"I'm in my bra and panties, in front of Draco bloody Malfoy." She giggled through the entire statement, it really was an absurd thought given how they started. Draco shook his head, chuckling along with her. Hermione leaned against Draco's chest, the skin on skin feeling was wonderful, all silky smooth and warm.
Draco pressed his face against the top of her head, suddenly noticing that it was still dry. A smirk befitting of the Slytherin prince found its way onto his face. He shifted, slowly and careful to make sure she wasn't noticing. He felt some pride from the knowledge that she was so content to curl up in his lap, but content Hermione wasn't what he was looking for now, he wanted to rile her up. He had scooted forward until he was just on the edge of the seat, with a final shift he pushed off the seat, holding onto Hermione's waist as he dragged her under with him.
When he finally let go of her waist they both surfaced, her hair was damp and sticking to her forehead and cheek but her eyes were bright and wild.
"Draco!" she lunged towards him, splashing him with a handful of bubbles. He caught her, the bubbles landing on his cheek. The laughed together, and Hermione ended up in Draco's lap again, straddling him this time. She wiped the bubbles off his cheek with her thumb, holding his head in her hands. She lead his head down so she could kiss his forehead, her lips pressed soft against his skin. His hands rested on her shoulders, his eyes trying to memorize the gentle curve of her neck, the freckle on her shoulder, the delicate valleys her collar bones made. His eyes trailed further down, his hands slipping down her arms and across her back. His thumbs slid under the thin straps of her bra, pulling the straps off her shoulder.
He didn't miss the way her chest heaved, her breath shaky. He closed the inch or two separating his lips from her skin, leaving open mouthed kissed down her neck and across her shoulder.
"Draco…" Hermione sighed, her head lolling to the side, she was having trouble forming thoughts, all she came up with was his name, over and over. Draco continued his open mouthed kisses, trailing back along her collar bone and then down to the valley between her breasts. She shivered and he could see the goose bumps that broke out on her skin and the small peaks that pushed against the fabric of her bra.
With each move the thin damp material slipped lower, it was the edge of this fabric that he turned his focus to. He nipped at the newly uncovered skin, soothing the bite with his tongue. He repeated this action on the other breast before trailing soft pecks up her neck. His hand wound into her hair, holding it tight as he stared into her eyes. Her nails were digging into his back, small crescent shaped marks would be left there for the next few hours. Their eyes met with such intensity, cool steel and warm honey mixing in a previously unfathomable combination.
Draco claimed her lips, devouring her with more passion than he'd ever felt surging through him. She refused to let him have total control, she met him blow for blow. They were evenly matched, no one could gain the upper hand. When they finally did break for air it was all heavy panting and gasping confessions of love.
Hermione leaned her forehead against his, both of them closed their eyes and relished into closeness. They stayed their long after the bubbles melted away and when the water got cold they reluctantly moved, drying their undergarments and dressing back into their uniforms.
They parted with a kiss, one full of longing and promises that seemed impossible to keep. Both could think of nothing but the few words they shared as they sat in the cooling bath water.
"Draco," she whispered.
"Yes?" her breath tickled his lips, we waited for her response, longing for the warmth of her breath on his skin again.
"I don't want to be a secret anymore." She confessed, her heart thumping in her chest as she waited for his response.
"I know."
"It's too dangerous." She tried to convince herself, squashing the hope that had started to form.
"We can tell your friends." He suggested, knowing full well that their reaction would determine whether or not the relationship continued. She never responded, he took that as an answer. They would know eventually, it was better they tell her friends than wait until the inevitably stumbled upon the couple.
(A/N: I really hope you enjoyed this, kinda my treat for making you wait so long for an update. So the next chapter will probably have Hermione telling her friends about her and Draco, send me suggestions of how you think each person would respond – I plan on including Ginny, and maybe Nevil and Luna so feel free to leave it in a review or a PM. Please review.)
