DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN PoT!
Damn it. Why isn't she answering my calls! I gave her an hour of space to think, like how every freakin' female on this planet needed when they're pissed. An hour and she's still ignoring me?! Fuck.
He stopped walking around in her street and leaned at the gate in front of her house. He glared at everyone who passed by in front of him and glared harder at anyone who was grinning from ear to ear wiping the grin off their faces.
What? He was in a pissy mood.
Another hour passed and he wanted to smash someone's face with his racket. The space thaw was supposed to be helping calm her was doing the opposite for him. it was aggravating his frustration.
Damn it.
If he only knew girls would be this difficult and complicated then… then. Shit. The thought of not having her was sending him into a downward spiral. She was his.
Mine.
He was not wasting another second more waiting. He had already given her enough time to seethe if she was still mad at him then sorry for her but he won't be going anywhere away from her tonight. Whatever it takes.
With his mind made up, he climbed his way up to her balcony with familiarity. Even their resident tennis acrobatics expert would be proud of him as he jumped and swung to reach her balcony's landing. His heart swelled a little as he remembered the nights when he used to sleep in her room.
He smiled triumphantly when he landed with ease but frowned when he found out that her sliding door was locked and the stupid curtain blocked his view of her room.
'Ryuzaki.'
He breathed in and out.
'Ryuzaki.'
Still no answer.
'Ryuzaki.' His voice rose a little, his patience thinning.
'I know you're there. Answer me or I'll break this glass door to come inside.'
He heard a panicked gasp but he could hear no further noise like feet shuffling to open the door.
Crap.
'Go away Ryoma-kun.' She refused stubbornly.
'Open this door.'
He took out his tennis racket and tennis ball. The ball bounced up and down the ground while he played with it. He was counting to ten and if she did not unlock her balcony door by then, he was smashing the glass, consequence be damned.
Sakuno finally understanding that it was not an empty threat, reluctantly unlocked her sliding door.
'What.' She crossed her arms, trying to stay mad at him. It was easier to stay so when she did not see him and ignored him. When she did not know that he waited for two hours outside her house. It was sweet and made her feel special and important.
Stick to being mad Sakuno.
And she was failing. Why does he have to look contrite and apologetic. He should have flashed her his usual cocky grin and his I-did-no-wrong attitude.
She stood her ground. She must let Ryoma know that she was no pushover, if he was wrong she won't be tolerating any of it.
Crap. Commence option two.
He breached the distance between them and crashed his lips to her unsuspecting ones, resting his hand on the back of her head and threading his fingers with her silky hair while his other arm drew her body closer to his. He let instinct be his guide as he gave her a sweet long kiss.
After what seemed to be an eternity of sweet kisses, he corralled his desire to continue kissing her for hours.
Long hours.
Kissing was not so bad.
His gaze dropped back to her tempting lips. She tasted of strawberries and peaches. It was addicting.
She was addicting.
Unable to rein his urges completely, he gave her lips another quick peck before he released it without relinquishing his hold on her.
Her hand instinctively went to her lips, relishing their unexpected first kiss. Her heart beat too loudly for comfort. Her face was redder than a tomato. She tried to bow her head but her traitorous gaze always landed on his moist lips.
'Are you still mad?'
'Eh.'
Her brain could not comprehend his words. Her head were only filled with thoughts of their kiss and nothing else seemed to matter.
Ryoma inwardly smirked and made a mental note to kiss her good every time she got pissed. He was ready to release his hold on her when she licked her lips innocently making his eyes turn a shade darker and his brain go to places it shouldn't.
He groaned like a starving lion.
Did that sound came from me? Crap. I'm turning like my perverted oyaji.
He dipped his head down until his forehead reached hers and looked straight into her eyes.
'Do you want me to kiss you again?'
Sakuno's chest rapidly rose and fell, her heart pounding far too fast for her liking. And his question was not helping. One word seemed to be stuck in her throat so she did the closest thing to an answer - she closed her eyes in agreement and waited for his lips to descend on hers.
Waited.
And waited.
A minute passed but no contact came.
She slowly opened one of her eyes to question and saw Ryoma smirking, his stance confident, waiting for her to verbalize the word she answered in silence.
He loved to tease her then he wouldn't mind if she returned the favor.
She shrugged perfecting nonchalance, unashamed of her earlier pliant response to his asking. She tried to disentangle herself from his arms but he was not budging.
She crossed her arms despite the little space he allowed of her to wiggle and met his eyes in mock annoyance, 'Is there anything else you want Ryoma-kun?'
She felt him stiffen and saw the panic start to rise inside of him. One thing she learned today about Ryoma was that he can't seem to relax when he knew she was mad or annoyed with him. It was a weakness of him that made her heart melt because it was a testament of how much he cared. She decided to poke it from time to time when needed. Just so she could keep him grounded when he played the cocky card with her.
Without warning his lips crashed with hers.
Right on cue.
He felt her smile as he kissed her.
Hell he was played but damn if he cared.
Taste better than any damn ponta.
000000000000
The incessant ringing of Sakuno's cellphone disturbed the silence of the morning. With her eyes still shut, she reached for her phone on her night stand but a pair of arms wound around her.
'Ignore it.' Ryoma's scratchy early morning voice commanded.
She opened her eyes, thankful for the blinds that kept her room dark.
'But what if it's important.'
Ryoma reached for her phone without looking at her caller id and answer her phone himself. 'What.'
…why are you answering Sakuno's phone? What did you do to her?
'Hmmmmmm. Bye.' He ended the call.
'Who was that?' she asked.
Instead of answering he returned it on the night stand but she intercepted his hand and took it from him. She checked her register, 'It was Chase.'
It was his time to take the phone away from her hand and set it back on the night stand. He gathered her close to his torso. 'Sleep.'
A/N: I know. I know. Finally an update. Sorry for the wait guys!
