Goodbye and Hello
Rose and the Doctor Stood at a respectable distance from Amy and Rory as the bade their unconscious daughter good bye.
they sat in front of the computer the Doctor, ruse self, had taken the seat for himself not that Rose minded.
He was trying to ignore the scene unfolding got distracted by the information in the computer.
"Rose is this realistic?" looking down at what the Doctor was asking she looked at the story that she had given River.
"Well she needs to believe that she lost both of her parents. that they are unreachable."
"But seriously, the Statue Of Liberty being an angel is a bit ridiculous. I mean it's not made of stone, it's made of cooper and it's hollow." Rolling her eyes in exasperation Rose motioned to the computer.
"Fine then, make the story more realistic. I've never even met a Weeping Angel before, only heard stories of them."
Rose rolled her eyes again as the Doctor really began to edit her story.
"Rose where ready as we will ever be." Rory announced as he held his weeping wife to his chest.
Rose nodded, "Doctor this is your part then."
The Doctor turned from fixing the story, surprised "what am i suppose to do?"
"You need to give River this sonic screwdriver that has her original memories." The Doctor looked at Rose like a deer caught in the head lights.
"I- I... why should I?" with one look from Rose he stood up threw his hands in the air "Fine"
Grabbing the disfigured sonic screwdriver he placed it in his pocket.
Rose gave the story a quick look before saving it and transferring it into the Clone's mind.
With the Doctor's and Rory strength they moved River Clone in a gurney and the group began to make their way to the control room.
Rory and amy holding on to the gurney as between the Doctor and Rose drove the Tardis correcting each other's mistake, and moving almost in a synchronization. until the Tardis softly landed at the appropriate time.
They stepped out of the Tardis with Rory pushing the gurney.
Placing River in her bed, Rose and Rory began to make their way back to the Tardis, Amy leaned down to kiss her daughter in the forehead, even if it was a clone she was her daughter.
the River Clone as if sensing her mother's affection began to stir into consciousness. Amy gave the Doctor a sad look as she hurriedly made her way to the Tardis that had suddenly changed into the blue box.
Confused she entered the Tardis, "how did you change the out side?"
Rose smiled "Mum actually fixed the Chameleon Circuit which is what allows this the Tardis to blend into the surroundings."
Amy nodded at the new information "then why doesn't the Doctor's Tardis change?"
"the Doctor doesn't want to, it's been broken since he first got it according to him." shrugging ROse added, "I like it."
Rose Knew that Amy was just trying to distract herself from the events going on out ie and Fact that in a way she was leaving her daughter behind to her death. Rose began to tell her stories of her first doctor and her, their adventures, to distract her and prevent her from rushing out of the Tardis.
It was a 30 minutes later that the Doctor came into the Tardis he had tears in his eyes, as he shut the door he slid down against it.
Rose wanted to embrace the Doctor but she knew the Doctor she knew what he wanted right now was a few moments to himself. So she began to drive the Tardis, it was bit more bumpier but the Doctor needed the few moments.
Rose knew no matter how indifferent he pretended to be from River the truth was that for many years River had been with the Doctor, as a lover, and as a friend. he must have felt that since Melody had become River Song because of his actions, he had painted River as a victim, and since the very first moment River had insinuated the y would be together in order to not rip the time line apart there hadn't been another option.
Rose tried,unsuccessfully, moving the Tardis back to earth, finally giving up she parked the Tardis in the vortex she would have to wait until the Doctor recovered himself. She was was used to driving the tardis with two or more pilots, so she wasn't used to driving her by herself.
Rose made her way to the med bay to finish what she had started, Just as Amy was making her way to the control room Rose grabbed her hand and shook her head.
"Give him time to process." Amy hesitated with a sigh she gave in.
"How are you Amy, I know leaving her behind is though, but established event's must happen." Rose said
"That's all it ever was with her" amy said with a sob, "established events that we couldn't change, from birth to death."
she began to cry and Rose not knowing anything else pulled her into a hug. Amy began to cry into her shoulder as she realised that once again she had lost her daughter.
Rory had left the med bay to look for Amy when he found Rose hugging a crying Amy.
Although he knew that River had been his daughter, he didn't actually feel like a father to her. He regretted that, He regretted a lot but the one thing that he truly regretted was not being a father to his daughter. That is why with his second chance he would change it. he wanted to talk to Amy about stopping the traveling at least until Melody was old enough to understand the dangers. He wanted to try being a family the Doctor dropping by every once in a while with Rose. after all Rose was his sister.
Rose and Amy noticed Rory standing in the hallway, Amy left Rose's embrace and rushed to Rory who held hugged his crying wife.
it was a couple of minutes that Rory' took Amy's hand motioned for Rose to follow him and led them to the med bay, where the original River lay.
Rose knowing what he wanted rushed Melody's side and place to fingers on each side of her temple, Rose then went into her mind grabbed the information in her head , created a room in her mind and sealed all which was River Song behind it.
taking a tissue sample of River Song Rose took out the Master's Sonic screw driver. changing the setting's and inputting Melody's DNA sequence information into the she aimed it at the River in the bed and pressed the button.
River began to shake as her age receded, she became younger and younger until she was just a small child, then into a infant. Turning the sonic off, Amy approached Melody, who with a wail began to cry.
Rose's vision grew black as a sharp pain entered her mind. she leaned against the wall her hand pressed to her right temple, Rory moved quickly to help her, but just as the pain had come it left, Rose was standing erect,. trying to play it off.
"Rose" she looked into Rory's concern eyes, pleading him not to tell the Doctor.
Rose knew there was something wrong inside of her. She knew but she didn't want to worry the Doctor, at least not right now. He had just found her and Donna, He just lost River.
Rory nodded as he carefully let it go, "you have to tell him"
Amy turned to look at Rory as she held little Melody in her arms. His thought on Rose left as Amy made her way to Rory.
He took a careful step towards Amy. With a watery smile she handed Rory their child. Rory felt tears in his eyes. finally after all this time he held his daughter. his worry for his sister was still there almost overwhelm by the fact that after all this time, he truly held his child with a happy sounding sob he laughed.
Rose wanting to give her brother and her sister in law a few moments alone made her way out of the med bay to give the new parents a few minutes to themselves.
She made her way back to the control room, the Doctor had moved from sitting by the door to standing next to the controls. He looked up as Rose came in.
"Rose, sorry, i-" Rose shook her head as she moved to stand beside him and grabbed his hand.
"Don't be sorry Doctor, you are not unfeeling, and that is good. He moved Rose into an embrace, he kissed her forehead causing her to look up placing, as he placed his forehead on hers, they closed their eyes trying to give each other strength.
TO the Doctor and Rose this was so natural while she had been himan that they didn't expect the sudden fall. his mind 'fell' into Rose shocking her.
Just like how her consciousness had been in the watch her mind was filled with gold. Within her mind he could see all her incarnations., they all seemed to be in a case sleeping.
The pink and yellow girl, his original Rose he had first met, was smiling in her sleep.
Madame Kovarian, the bitter dark red Rose was hiding her face, weather from shame or something else he didn't know
the peach colored Rose the most recent Rose, stood there her hands under her head with a smiled.
And finally standing in front of them was the Current Rose, with her brilliant red hair, and her mismatched eyes
She gave the Doctor a smile "what are you doing here?"
The Doctor gave her a guilty smile "Accident, i just need to raise my shield in my mind,"
With a nod the Doctor gave her a sweet kiss, and began to draw the shield around his mind. It was as her mind began to disappear the he saw it, like he had in the watch, a shadow shift within her mind. The mind otherwise filled with gold, had a dark shadow lurking. He noticed "Madame Kovarian' Rose turn her head her expression one of fear and terror her hands still up. the shadow was hiding behind her.
Before his shield move into place he saw as her face turned to look at him pleading him but it was too late as he was thrown out of her mind. He looked at one gold and one green eyes. She seemed to be unaware of what was going on in her mind.
"Doctor are you alright?" the Doctor nodded almost distractedly as he leaned down and kiss her nose. "Let's go back Donna will be angry if she see's we are missing."
He wanted to talk to Donna bout what he had seen.
With both of them driving the Tardis once again the ride was more tranquil and with a soft thump they landed. Rose having aimed for the inside of her house, thanks to the Doctor they had landed, grabbing the Doctor's hand they stepped out of the Tardis to hear a clatter of bagging and orders coming from the kitchen Rose and the Doctor, quickly smelling a mystery made their way towards the noise.
"Clara!" Rose yelp as she watched the mess the Kitchen had become.
"Rose, Doctor thank goodness you guys are back I'm going to need some things from the Tardis."
"Clara, what did mum say about making experiments in the kitchen? Especially after the attempted 6 chocolate souffle you tried to make?"
"She said to use the one in the Tardis, since she could always erase the kitchen, but this isn't cooking I'm doing a serious investigation see." she pointed to Wilf that had frozen as he saw the young lady that had come in, as he saw her turn to him he saw the golden and green eyes. so this was his new granddaughter.
"Rose is that you sweetheart?" she gave him a confused stare before as if realizing what he ment.
"Yeah, Sorry, gramps i regenerated." Wilf stood up walking away from what seemed to be a black cube surrounded by bent knives of different sizes.
He moved towards Rose and grabbed her cheeks, "look at you so different. and what lovely Red hair, and those eyes are you unique."
he gave her a wide smile and hugged her. he felt one of her arms go around him. as he step back he saw that her other hand was holding the hand of a strange young man in a bow tie.
"Is this your new boyfriend Rose?" causing the Doctor bristle at the thought that Rose had been dating, someone else.
"Yes gramps this is the Doctor," Rose giggled as she finished she could tell from the sweat in the Doctor's hand that he was blushing and nervous. Moving around Rose
Wilf smiled as he saw the Doctor blush, at being introduced as her boyfriend, the Doctor extended his hand towards him.
"It seems fate is not done with My dear friend"
Shaking his hand Wilf responded "In deed Doctor but it seems you have become more polite."
The Doctor gave him in return a cheeky smile. "Me? why i'm insulted."
