Skipper stalked over to a nearby phone booth and closed the door behind him, leapt up onto the phone's stand and threw a few nickels into the slot; it had taken him several hours to find all the cash he'd needed to make this phone call. He dialed in the number and picked up the phone.
"Hey Camilla, what's the deal? There was no cat, and certainly no Deadshot" Skipper snarled into the phone.
"I'm sorry I had to lie to you Mr. Gracia, but I didn't have much choice, I doubted you would be interested in taking down the dolphin, but he is evil and must be stopped before-" Skipper cut her off.
"Too bad, cause I let him go, and if you ever call me again, it won't be pleasant for you" Skipper snarled, and hung up. He hopped down and walked out of the phone booth, and into an ally.
He wasn't really going anywhere, just aimlessly wandering around, trying to decide what to do.
"Help!" Skipper's head jerked up, it sounded like a fairly young animal. He didn't really want to mess with saving anyone at the moment, but his gut was already telling him to go help, and he was already halfway there.
A large rottweiler dog was standing in another ally, trapping two, eight month old penguins.
"Help" one of the penguins called out.
"Hey dog, pick on someone your own size" Skipper wacked the dog in the nose, and within a few more blows, the dog was running away yipping.
Skipper turned back to the two young penguins now staring at him admiringly.
"You two ok?" he asked.
"We are now sir, thanks" the seemingly older of the two penguins said.
"Yeah, we would be dog food without you" the other one added.
"Where are you boys from?" Skipper asked.
"Central Park zoo" the older of the two said.
"Alright" Skipper said, "I know where that is. Come on, I'll take you boys home".
"Thank you sir" the older one said.
"Thank you sir" the younger one repeated. They instantly fell in step behind him. As they walked, Skipper turned his head and asked,
"What are your names anyway?"
"I'm Manfreddi sir, and this is my brother Johnson".
