Trapped: Chapter Six
"I am not letting you leave this place," Pein replied, the slight anger clear in his voice.
"Why does it matter to you, what happened to me?" Naruto yelled.
"This conversation is over," Pein replied, turning his eyes back towards his work and ignoring Naruto.
"You bastard, this conversation is not over," Naruto said, walking to Pein's side and grabbing his shoulder roughly.
Within seconds Naruto's back was pinned back against Pein's desk, while Pein's hand was lightly around Naruto's neck. Both of them stopped breathing for a second until Naruto's eyes began to water and his chakra became completely un-reachable. As Pein stood up straight and stepped back away from Naruto; being freed from Pein's strong control. His lap shook and gave out from under him and he fell to the floor; he didn't move once he had hit the floor.
"Naruto, you're the last of the Uzamaki clan, I plan to keep you safe," Pein said, kneeling down before Naruto and watching the smaller boy's eyes watch him closely.
"Pein, I don't think I can deal with this anymore," Naruto replied quietly.
"It isn't the end of everything," Pein told Naruto.
"No, just my dreams, my life, my friends and my trust in the hidden leaf village," Naruto replied.
"Maybe that place wasn't were you belonged," Pein yelled.
"It was where I belong," Naruto yelled.
"Calm down," Pein gently ordered.
"Why bother?" Naruto shouted.
"Come with me," Pein ordered, pulling Naruto up to his feet and pushing him towards the closed door.
Naruto stumbled across the floor, hitting the door, before he was pulled back, the door opened and he was pushed through the opened door. Being forced through the base, Naruto and Pein passed through the living room, where most of the Akatsuki sat around the room watching.
"Pein, what are you doing?" Konan questioned, as he passed her.
"Taking him to the compound," Pein answered; Konan bit her bottom lip as Naruto and Pein headed for the entrance to the base.
Twenty Minutes Later
"This is where you belong," Pein shouted, harshly shoving Naruto down into the ground.
Naruto looked up, stopping when he saw two large metal gates in front of him; standing to his feet Naruto saw houses through the gates. He walked up to the gates finding them locked with a heavy chain, glancing back at Pein, he saw Pein nod. Jumping up, Naruto landed on the other side of the gates, glancing back at Pein as he landed.
"What is this place?" Naruto thought, walking into the compound until his eyes caught on to a symbol embedded in the side of one of the houses.
Naruto reached up touching the symbol and then quickly pulled his hand away; stepping back Naruto stepped into Pein and quickly jumped forwards again.
"What is this place?" Naruto shouted, looking towards Pein and waiting for his answer.
"This is the Akatsuki family compound," Pein answered.
"Akatsuki?" Naruto questioned.
"Our family," Pein replied.
Naruto stayed quiet, he had never doubted who he was. Looking up at Pein, he was ready to ask the question that needed answering.
"Uzamaki..." Naruto began.
"A false name, created by your father," Pein answered.
"What does that mean?" Naruto asked.
There was complete silence, not even the wind continued to blow.
"Pein?" Naruto questioned, starting to get worried.
"It means that you're not Naruto Uzamaki, that you are Naruto Akatsuki," Pein answered.
"Pein..." Naruto tried to say, but the word caught in his throat and refused to move.
"It's Nagato, Nagato Akatsuki," Pein/Nagato answered.
"Stop," Naruto ordered, not copping with all the information he was getting in such a short amount of time.
"Naruto, this is half yours," Pein said, Naruto's eyes travelled over Pein's face trying to see if he was lying.
"The Rain village, needs an Akatsuki as their leader. I no longer need to watch over the village and the Akatsuki any longer, now that you are here," Pein said.
"I can't, I haven't earned it," Naruto replied, after a few minutes.
"After everything you have been put through, you deserve so much more," Pein said.
Naruto quieted down, as Pein rested his hand on Naruto's shoulder. It took only a second for Naruto to step forwards and hug Pein tightly. The two Akatsuki family members stood together, Naruto embracing Pein as they each just let everything completely set in.
"Pein, I need to go to the Leaf Village..I need to do this properly," Naruto whispered.
"Okay," Pein agreed, setting his arms around Naruto and giving him a hug in return.
"Pein, will you come with me...I'm not sure enough to go on my own," Naruto whispered, his tears falling over his cheeks before sinking into a certain spot in Pein's cloak.
"I will come with you," Pein replied, pulling his cloak from his shoulders as Naruto began to shake and Pein wrapped it easily around Naruto's shoulders.
"Let's go," Pein whispered, wrapping his arm around Naruto's shoulders and guiding the shivering boy towards the front gate of the compound.
Lifting Naruto up into his arms and jumping over the tall fence, before he tightened his grip on Naruto and began dashing through the forest as fast as he could. They made it to the Akatsuki base, just as it began to rain. Opening the entrance of the base, Pein entered slamming the door closed behind him and walking quickly towards the living room where he lay Naruto down on to the couch.
"We can go to the Leaf Village tomorrow, but for now I want you to rest," Pein told Naruto.
Covering him with the blanket which hung over the back of the and making his way into the kitchen, keeping his eyes on Naruto for as long as he could before he had to turn away. This boy was really starting to worry him; something bad had happened to just before he left the village and Pein promised himself that he was going to find out what it was.
