Trapped: Chapter Seven

Making his way to his room, Pein was so quick to grab a small book from beside his bed, before turning off the light and walking back the way he had came. Entering the living room, Pein was surprised to find the whole Akatsuki scattered around the room watching Naruto closely, looking up at Pein as he walked in the door. Konan stood from her seat, she watched Pein, before putting the seat beside her waiting for Pein to take a seat.

"Thank you," Pein told Konan, she sat down beside Pein on the arm of the chair.

"You took him to the Akatsuki Compound, what happened?" Konan asked, resting his hand down on to Pein's arm in hope of calming him down.

"He wants to go home, he wants to tell everyone that he is going to become the leader of the Hidden Rain Village," Pein answered, he left relieved to know that very soon Naruto would be taking over the Rain Village very soon.

"You can't take him back yet," Itachi told Pein, knowing that Itachi was right.

"What are you thinking, Itachi?" Konan asked him.

"If he returns now, he will always remember how weak and helpless he was. If he returns later, it will be different," Itachi answered, gently Pein nodded and turned his gaze to Naruto.

Lying on the couch, Naruto's eyes were closed as he rested. He was completely exhausted from everything he had seen and everything he had done. Naruto was completely unaware that the whole Akatsuki was seated around him watching him as he slept. Parting his lips to speak, Sasori stared at the boy, it amazed him how weak normal people were, being an Akatsuki member weakness wasn't something you saw much of, but in the last few days Sasori had seen just how the blanket that covered Naruto, up over his shoulders. The boy had finally stopped shaking and was resting peacefully. Waking up the next morning, Naruto blinked trying to adjust to the bright lights invading the room. Looking around, Naruto lay shocked at the scene around him, every single one of the Akatsuki had fallen asleep watching him. Naruto was unsure whether to fall sleepily or to feel happy that someone cared about him. At this particular moment, Naruto felt so much like it was boarding on a line of being really creepy. Standing from the couch, the blanket that covered him fell to the floor, crowding around his feet. Taking a step forwards, Naruto felt his legs collapse beneath me and fell down to his knees. Keeping his mouth shut, Naruto made sure no one had woken up. Standing up, Naruto put in an extra effect to ensure that he didn't fall to his knees again. Entering the hallway, Naruto struggled to stay on his feet as he walked slowly down the hall and into a random room.

"What are you doing?" Someone questioned from behind him.

Naruto turned to see who it was, seeing Zetsu's black and white form standing in front of him. Feeling slightly uneasy Naruto took a step back, he stared at Zetsu in fear not sure what he was going to do with him. Reaching out Zetsu, grabbed Naruto's shoulder. Staring up at the much taller male, Naruto's eyes were wide as Zetsu stepped closer to him and waited for a few seconds so that he could calm down and get use to Zetsu being closer to him.

"What are you doing?" Naruto asked.

"I'm not going to hurt you," Zetsu told Naruto.

Looking away, Naruto's cheeks flushed in embarrassment. Opening his mouth to talk, Zetsu bet him to it.

"Naruto, you should sit down," Zetsu told him, Naruto nodded slowly.

Helping Naruto over to the bed inside the room, Naruto's eyes looked around the room for the first time. It was someone's bedroom...one of the Akatsuki members' bedrooms. Zetsu stood in front of Naruto looking down at him, trying to figure out what the much younger boy was thinking. Rubbing his arms, Naruto began to feel extremely cold. He moved his gaze to the window at the side of the room, Zetsu saw that Naruto was cold. Zetsu moved over to the window, he was about to close it when Naruto spoke.

"Please don't, I like being outside," Naruto whispered.

Zetsu turned to Naruto, thinking for a moment before he nodded and stepped away from the window.

"Come with me," Zetsu ordered, unsurely Naruto stood from the bed.

Following Zetsu through the hallways, they suddenly ended up in front of a pair of old wooden double doors. Zetsu opened the doors and stepped forwards followed by Naruto. Amazed at what he was faced with, it took Naruto's breath away at the scene before it. It looked completely amazing.

"What is this?" Naruto asked, stunned.

"My garden," Zetsu replied.

Walking through the rows and rows of plants, it amazed Naruto how many different plants there was and how they were all scattered round the place, making everything look so magical. Turning round to Zetsu, Naruto looked around at the way he had just came. Turning on the spot, Naruto's eyes kept catching on to different things as he kept looking around.

"Can I stay in here?" Naruto asked, Zetsu nodded.

Zetsu stepped back, leaving the garden and closing the doors behind him. Naruto sat down on a bench he found within the garden, a small smile on his face as he stared at a plant, that he had seen before the Akatsuki had found him. Unsure how long he was in the garden, Naruto eventually stood up and left the garden, going to find Zetsu or Pein. He was soon lost within the hallways of the Akatsuki base. Hoping to find someone he stared opening random doors.
