Having no luck, Naruto sat down on the floor in the hallway; he leaned against the wall and waited. Putting his arms resting on his knees Naruto leant his head on his knees in hope of being able to have some rest within anyone watching him.
"I need to get out of here," Naruto whispered.
He accepted that all the Akatsuki were doing was to keep him with them, so that they could figure out how to get the Nine-tailed fox from him, without it killing him beforehand. All the Akatsuki were using him for their own purpose, Zetsu showing him the garden, the Akatsuki watching him while he slept and Pein telling him that they were related. It made his heart hurt, with pain, everyone just wanted to use him for their own personal gain. No more, he wasn't going to accept this anymore, he needed to get out of here and run, run far and faster than anybody else until no one knew who he was.
"Naruto?" Sasori asked, kneeling down next to Naruto and nudging his shoulder.
"Gaara, what are you doing here at the Akatsuki base?" Naruto questioned half asleep.
"What are you doing here, Naruto?" Sasuke asked, ignoring the fact that Naruto thinks that he is Gaara.
"Why do you care, you only betrayed me along with everyone else," Naruto told Sasori, shrugging off Sasori's hand.
"Naruto…" Sasori began.
"Stop, STOP…STOP! You are just using me for your own goals," Naruto shouted.
Hidan and Kakuzu heard the shouting, entering the hall to see what was going on they saw Sasori and Naruto sitting all on the floor. Kicking out at Sasori, Naruto looked to the side seeing Kakuzu and Hidan. Glancing back at Sasori and noticed for the first time that it wasn't Gaara right in front of him, it was Sasori.
"What did they do to you?" Sasori asked.
Naruto flintched, he took a sharp breath as a memory snapped across his mind.
Naruto's Memory
Being pulled away from the streets, Kakashi lead him away from the main area and into the darker part of town. Being quick to enter a building, Naruto was pushed forwards into the center of a well lit room, with bright lights down on him.
"You need to stop with this silly behavior, Naruto Uzamaki," A voice told Naruto, standing still in the center of the room Naruto didn't know what to do.
Strong lights shined down at him, he could see the outlines of people seated in the corners of the room hidden from the light. Naruto glanced back hoping to find his sensei hovering behind him, noticing Kakashi was gone, Naruto glanced round the room, surprised to find Gaara stepping out from shadows in front of him.
"Gaara, what are you doing here?" Naruto questioned, not sure what to do or how to react.
"The monster is gone, the thing inside of you could be gone, but you choose to keep it. There is no way I could be friends with a monster like you," Gaara said, turning his back on Naruto and walking away.
Gaara refused to have Naruto enter the sand village, Naruto was hated by all sand ninja. When Naruto really needed his help, when Naruto was running from a group of ninjas, he was turned away by sand ninjas and then finally once Naruto was able to sneak into the village and beg Gaara to help him. Gaara had the Anbu of the village drag Naruto from the village and dump him into the hands of the ninja who were chasing him.
End Naruto's Memroy
"Naruto…Naruto, snap out of it," Sasori ordered, shaking the boy to try and get him to respond.
"…Sasori," Naruto whispered, suddenly feeling extremely exhausted from everything.
Keeping his hand on Naruto's shoulder, Sasori stayed at the same height as Naruto not wanting to move in case he was to scare the boy. After a few minutes, Sasori helped Naruto to his feet. Directing Naruto into the closest bedroom and laying him down on the bed, not wanting to leave Naruto in case the Nine-tailed fox threatened Naruto's life. Sitting across the room from Naruto, watching as he closed his eyes. No able to stay awake, Naruto was asleep before he could even argue with Sasori. Standing up, Sasori glanced down at Naruto not even sure why the boy had been in the hallway anyway. Debating internally where he should leave Naruto or if he should stay with him. Wanting to question the other Akatsuki members about what had happened. Leaving Naruto to sleep, Sasori left the room to find the other members of the Akatsuki. Sasori had just left the room, he walked round the corner straight into Kakuzu.
