I raced back through the moor, but I realized, I couldn't let the others see me like this. I found a nice spot away from camp, and I completely lost it.

I was crying my heart out. Not just the wimpy sniffling crying, but full out bawling. With all of the noise I was making, I should have known I would have attracted some attention.

"Nightcloud?" I quickly stopped sobbing, but I didn't turn around to face the cat that had called out to me.

"What?" I spat.

"Great StarClan, Nightcloud. No need for that," Ashfoot snapped back. "I heard your crying and I just came to see if you were okay."

She wanted to make sure if I was okay? She cared? It almost made her seem like she was my friend. Almost.

"Just leave me alone," I still didn't turn to face her.

"Nightcloud, I'm trying to be nice here," she said. This she-cat won't give up, would she? Then, an idea popped into my head. I finally turned to face her.

"Fine, I'll tell you what's wrong. Crowfeather is what's wrong. He's a traitor."

"What do you mean?" Ashfoot asked.

"I was taking a walk near the ThunderClan border earlier today, and I found him there with that medicine cat, Leafpool. I also heard him tell her that he loves her. So, he's with a medicine cat from a different clan." I explained everything and waited for her reaction.

What Ashfoot did next surprised me.2
